- The iPhone 14 Pro Max should be the ultimate iPhone to date. But IOS 16 might be taking the fruit off the island! Here's my review after about 1 month, comparing the 14 Pro Max to the 13 Pro Max and 11 Pro Max. While showcasing some new home screen widgets!

FINALLY a video including the 11 pro max! so tired of all the 13pm and 14pm comparison that literally nobody is doing. i’m coming from an 11 pro max and most people i know are coming from even older!

I upgraded from a 12 Pro Max and haven’t looked back. The 120hz screen is nice, especially when the M1 iPad Pro already has this. I take a lot of low-light pictures so this camera upgrade was welcomed compared to the 12 PM. If I were to add or change anything, it would be Apple should include a slider for how bright you want the AOD to be in the display settings.
I like how he said if he tested crash detection on a Rollercoaster but was unsure if that would work. Funny enough, I read an article saying how crash detection was activating while people were on rollercoasters.

Upgraded from 12 Pro. I thought the Dynamic Island would be an overhyped gimmic, but it’s been an everyday part of life. It’s been great for sports scores.

I am loving my iPhone 14 pro. I don’t like max size but 14 pro is just perfect for me. Wish it was as light as iPhone 14 regular but I guess stainless steel is what keeping it so heavy doesn’t matter anymore though you get used to it. I don’t have any complains so far I have disabled always on coz I think it’s useless. Upgraded from xr probably that’s why I am loving it so much 😂

Its the third cycle using the same general design, only differences are bigger cameras (again) and the notch redesign. The real redesign is expected for the 15 series, and at this point im wondering what can they do at this point that hasn't already been done. Time will tell

Upgraded from an Iphone XS max, 2nd hand device. This phone is definitely an upgrade for me! My Iphone 14 pro max is a space black, 256 gb device.
As someone who upgraded from the 13 Pro Max on the Apple Upgrade Program, definitely few changes. I’d say even iPhone 12 Pro users are for sure still good another year.

I went from an iPhone XS Max to the iPhone 14 Pro Max and to me it was a big jump, although it didn’t feel as satisfying as when I went from the iPhone 6 to the iPhone XS Max.
I do love the phone and probably my favorite thing is the MagSafe. I use the Apple wallet and it’s so nice never forgetting my wallet at home or losing it.

Pretty sure that the 14-pro was the only iPhone that had a bump up on battery as well with pro max still rocking the 13 batt..

Samsung has had edge lightning for notifications for a long while. I would love to see something similar to that come to the 14 pro max or later phones with dynamic island that just flash to show notifications rather than turning on the entire screen.
Apple should definitely add a little life to the notification suite of the notch.

I upgraded from a busted XR. I don’t think there’s enough difference between the 13 and 14 to justify the upgrade but IMO from the 12 back I’d say it’s worth it for most people. This year Apple definitely didn’t impress the world but I think they perfected this model design with the 14. I hope they plan on giving a new look for 2023 iPhones with some more impressive upgrades

Do not care for the big dynamic notch on all the iPhone 14 devices i’m keeping my iPhone 12 Pro Max until Apple is able to get rid of the dynamic notch completely
There’s a way to make the always in display black but it’s hidden in the focus mode settings.

Just ordered my black iPhone 14 Pro Max. I hope a lot of the smaller issues get fixed. I was especially excited about dynamic island, and this is coming from an all time android user. I thought the integration looked really well thought out. But smaller issues like music disappearing bothers me. Interested to test it out!

I have had so much trouble with the dynamic island it sometimes prevents me from swiping out of apps and sometimes it duplicates itself and leaves random dots all over the phone

@@Johnnyiswhere dynamic island isn't a 1000 dollar reason to upgrade. AOD is being turned off by most users including me because it wrecks battery. Latest chipset is a joke compared to a15 barely an upgrade thats why they didn't even compare the two in the event like they normally do. And better camera is pointless because main upgrade is cinematic 4k and 48mp which let's be honest unless your a photographer your only going to use once say "oh wow that's detailed" and then never use it again since it Bins down to 12mp in normal use
@@michealadebz upgrade isn’t 1000 if you trade in. I got my iPhone pro max for $400. No brainer. All of those features I mentioned are super important to me, and iOS 16 is great since the update!
Not a fan of the dynamic island..it's very noticeable when looking at something full screen, especially a canvas with a full white background .
Decided to keep my 13 PRO Max after watching this video so i can save some $ instead of upgrading to a new phone every time they release a new phone. Thanks for the video!

My iPhone 14 pro was connected to my cars Bluetooth and in a fit of rage I threw my phone in the car and it thought I had crashed showing me an alert. Very neat!!🎃

I just feel these additional animations in the dynamic island will drain more battery life especially with for sure the worse-and-worse optimization in the future iOS 16.5, iOS 17, iOS 18 etc for older iPhones. And it doesn’t really save much time or effort either. You still need to tap a few times or hold the tap to control apps. It’s a cool idea, but I kind of don’t want that in the future flagship iPhones.

And making 10h to 13h screen ON time, love the battery life of this phone 😊
Especially when my previous phone battery only lasted like 3h to 6h screen on time depending of the use

What if you want to upgrade from the iPhone XR
Would you recommend get the iPhone 14 max pro because I have been looking in to getting one for my self I had my iPhone XR for 4 years now going to be five
I got an issue with my 14 pro max camera. Taking pictures using maximum zoom, was good and the software automatically sharpened the image for better visibility , suddenly it doesn’t automatically sharpened the images and i get a very blurry noised image. It was a 1st time issue. All the settings were just fine, pro raw enable etc. i need to restart device then it get to normal . Why is that happening.
Might be another bug with IOS 16, I’ve had a variety of quirks and wonky features completely break.
@@SpecterTech i realise that when using Raw, zooming to max resulting noise, blur image & zero processing. If using Normal 12 mp, the image will be automatically processed resulting a sharper and clearer image.
