- Since I got the @endlessblading Arc CS frame a few days ago I've been on it every chance I get.
In this video, I test out what riding a 5 wheel setup feels like in a fast-paced urban setting. The experience is a bit different than what I'm used to, but I had an absolute blast and looking forward to progressing more on this kind of setup.

Ari makes it seem like NYC's easier to commute/navigate on rollerblades than cars. As someone who's driven in NYC 20 years ago, I can confirm driving in NYC esp. Manhattan was a horrible experience (that's 20 years ago). So, with added population in last 2 decades I'm sure it's gotten worse. Somehow in this insane world of anti-health, anti-earth screamers, it seems more sane to be on rollerblades than multi-ton metal monsters burning gasoline while stuck on traffic. I wish I could skate or blade though. Unfortunately my Shakey knee never let me balance on one leg, so while I love watching Ari do his thing, this is fantasy level stuff for me.

Man it’s just so pleasing to see you glide through the big city of NY, I’m from Charlotte NC and last year when I visited Times Square I wish I had my skates with me that time, it’s just endless fun! I really like your videos a lot amazing how you get around so easy cause so small the ease at which you move in and away for cars people reminds every Saturday we just to go skating at roller rink north of Cairo Illinois only thing I don't like the singing or music you play you don't need it I want to hear the rollerblades on the asphalt the horns blaring the city itself even though I live in the country I enjoy going into the city watching you guys at night some of the skater with lighted skates man!!! That looks like so much fun I am 77 and I would love to do that with friends of mine new friends to make thanks man so enjoyable and to the others also

It's different and I'm still getting used to it. So far I'd say yes, but not sure if it'll become my daily driver if speed is my priority

I skated once with a backpack on my back. The backpack soaked up all the sweat, washing it didnt help, bye bye backpack. Cant imagine the bareskin outcome.

Hey! Sick skating as usual. What's your preferred emergency stop? I've found it hard to stop as consistently coming from an ice hockey background, so trying to practice a few and get comfortable before I go faster on the street.
My fav way is sharp turns to cut speed, combined with T stops.
For city T-Stop into a parallel slide is probably the most consistant, some people like the magic slide but I suck at it. Look up Bill Stoppards "Power Stop"

Skating is perfect otherwise youd been dead long ago, alot also has to do with pure Luck! Because if a persons going to open a car door, run across the street, stick their hand/head out the window, etc? Theres sooo much that could happen that Ive seen happen, You have truly just been so Lucky! Not saying your great skating hasnt helped cuz it 100 has!
Is there a reason you got the CS instead of the normal ones? I heard they’re better for smaller feet( I’m a size 42) but I was worried about the smaller wheels not doing too well on streets.

No, since these are smaller they take impact a bit less well than my 90's. Still super fun!

Just a question though, when riding back to home, don't u have a computer in your backpack ? I really want to skate from work back to home, but I need to bring my computer back home every day.
I'm so afraid of falling while having the computer in my bag and breaking it, so I don't do it and shamefully (haha) take the bus and walk home every day...

I only bring my computer if I need it. and if I do bring it I use a different bag which has more protection. But I need a much better one, for sure!

How does the Arc CS compare to the endless 90? Which one is heavier? I am thinking of getting an endless 90 for my FR1, I primarily use those skates for skating around the city and the 4x80s aren't doing it for me anymore.
