Do you have to put some poly on so the vinyl has something to stick too. Or you just put it on the blue paint
Put poly on first
Beautiful craftsmanship on the flag. However there is one thing, and please do not take this the wrong way it's just one person's opinion. The stars are white, yet the stripes on the flag are the natural torched wood. I just thank the stars and the stripes should be the same color because that's how the American flag is supposed to be. Either do both white, or leave it the natural torched wood. Again beautiful craftsmanship, have a great day.

Is there a way you can mask out the stars and paint on the blue so that the stars match the stripes? I mean, you peel all 50 off the sheet anyhow, would it be that different to peel them off the board after painting the blue?
Yes there’s a way you can do that you just have to use transfer tape. I will try to make a video of that soon

Ross Martin No as soon as you finish do you want to pull the stencil off. If you let it dry sometimes it will stick to the stencil and mess the stars up. Once you start taking the stencil off keep pressure on it pulling up do not release it if so it will mess the stars up.

How do you get your dimensions based on size??
LDRcast20 I just measured the size of flag it’s going to be in just eyeball it to make sure it comes out right. You can also Google does American flag specs I’ve also done that as well

Great video but why not just put down the stencil and paint the stars from that?
Kurt C You can do that as well but you will have to clean the stencil every two Flags.

why do you use transfer tape when there is no drops? seems like a waste.

It work for us. I have been using it for about a year and half. I hope soon were able to go to woodburning.
Rustic Wood Work & Family it just fell apart when you were pulling if off.
