I think B-Kong did a video on how to connect the on/off switch to the power supply. Then you could turn it on from the on/off switch on the control panel instead of reaching behind the cab.
Just purchased. I live in uk, so I’m hoping they send uk plugs and power strip as do know I live in uk. I was going to order parts my self, but this option is already good to go and only costs £50 more. Just need to wait now. One issue I have, I have galago deluxe so the screen and controls are one unit. Just hoping I can get screen out without removing any side panels. Great video.
I live in apartment so of course space is at a premium, I could run one cabinet so I want to maximize it. I am thinking of the Atari 50 cabinet because it already has a spinner and trackball. Does the kit have inputs for those?
@@greyshadow9498 all controls have to be replaced. The trackball and spinner would need a usb connection to plug into the raspberry pi and then it would work.
@@ShowtimeGaming101 Bah in was hoping the kit's controller board would have the proper inputs. If I need to replace the parts, I may as well just do a custom deck. Which is fine because the Atari 50's stick position is kinda awkward I hear. Maybe a Street Fighter Deluxe cab and just knock out player 2 for spinner and trackball. Thanks for the info! Got some work to do.
😊🤷♂ this thing is great everything ready to play all u have to do is put on the buttons and plug in some wires this is : D the easet thing i ever seen : D fun
Yes but that would only be able to turn the raspberry pi on/off. You’d still have to find a way to power the monitor and marquee. This method does it all. You can also use a wireless remote or a wireless button that plugs into the outlet and press the wireless button
ruclips.net/video/FpPDVI2OnuM/видео.htmlsi=RwFrcoqnTkQOQvI4 It has Bluetooth built in so you can virtually play with any controller with or without a USB dongle. Refer to this video.
Yes it does. The install will be 100% identical. The only difference is that the control panel on the deluxe does not come off from the top. Otherwise the installation is exactly the same.
@@ShowtimeGaming101What I meant, my bad how I wrote it, is can you use the controls you just installed for player 2 or do you have to use the hand controller?
@@CorvetteLS7427 it’s simple. You use the hand controller to enter the settings by pushing down on the analog stick. Choose “player 2 start” and set that to any free button. That button is now the player 2 start button. Then you can go back to the joystick and play 2 players off of the one joystick you have.
@ShowtimeGaming101 also no q&a on page sorry to bother - I can use the joystick and buttons that came w the arcade 1up correct? Or do you also have to buy the joystick and buttons controls from the site as well?
Okay I have seen in other comments this will work with new 1up's. What about old ones? Possibly might buy one on the marketplace. Also I assume the games are stored on the sd card. Should be able to plug it into my pc and add/remove mame games.
@@spidernose works on all versions but you must put in the notes the model number to be sent the proper parts. This also includes the first gen models as well.
Valid point lol. It really does take 5-6 minutes to mod the inside. Swapping buttons and joysticks about the same amount of time. Making the video takes far longer than the actual installation and then we have to explain and demo the mod. We hope it really helps.

do it work for the simpsons arcade 1 up??

Is there a list of the games included?
Once you’re on the website. Click the tab that says “raspberry pi games” and you’ll get a breakdown.
Are you still able to play two players? Since the coin button in player 2 spot?
Yes. You simply press the analog stick down on the spare controller and scroll over to “player 2 start” and set that as the button you prefer.
