The bolt sapped in the same place for me, I thought I blew my engine when I head it jumping around in the timing case, I was looking into the iag tensioner thanks for the video!!
When it comes to extract a dammn bolt its the worst part, I had that issue with the coolant crossover pipe and my front calipers bolt...and I couldnt extract it. that fix with a timesert was around 300 alone...and since my STi still in the build process now I remember one of the rear calipers bolt snapped as well, so here go another timesert for that one. Things get expensive real quick, by the way that IAG Tensioner looks solid🔥💪
Congrats on that broken bolt man!!!! Today's your lucky day better go buy a lottery ticket! LOL Remember if you ever have to remove those bolts with red loctite on em it's probably a good idea to use a torch and heat the bolt head first just a fyi.

Nice job engine looks so clean. Left handed drill bit sets are a must to add to the tool box. (Should be in your extractor set)
That what the drill bit was haha. Most definitely didn’t know that when I started I was wondering why it wasn’t drilling🤣

the bottom left cam pulley looks backwards? Drivers side bottom cam pulley looks backwards
The cam gear?
@@RemmyEvans COULD THIS BE THE SOURCE OF YOUR TIMING PROBLEMS IN YOU 20DEC22 VIDEO??
The cam gears are on the right spot, pretty certain. The top cam gears have the three divots on the gears
Your feet have to get cold with no socks! :)
