A beloved member of our friend group had a nut removed junior year of highschool. He was understandably upset but took it like a fucking champ. First day back had some shirt about a squirrel losing his nuts, took some jokes with a smile that first day and then nobody ever brought it back up. A true legend. GGs staying on top Mr.F

As someone who essentially lost his left leg to cancer (I say essentially because it's a long story) and is also aspiring to be a fighting game competitor,this is awesome to see the transparency. Awesome matches too on the hitbox.

Man Brian, this is great. Hopefully your prognosis goes well. My father had to deal with prostate cancer, and even though it was swift and relatively easy going for him until remission, it still hit the family fairly hard. I hope for a swift reocvery for you. Cancer is no joke. It doesn't care how old you are, how much money you have etc. Early detection is key. If you have a history of certain types of cancer in your family, get screened often.
I'll admit it, I got very emotional as well towards the end when you opened up how it helped you feel like yourself again. You're a strong and brave man being open like this, and having the ability to power through to the end. This is the kind of thing you think can only happen in stories, but it's real, it's raw, and it shows how much heart you have in competition and your drive overall.
