They should have simply made it a 5 seater, 7 seater is already available in XUV700. A vehicle which is targeted for spirited driving and enthusiasts didn't really need 7 seats. Also don't see the logic behind the sideway opening at the back, even the last row is front facing.

true we own a xylo since its inception and that 3rd row very usable for the adults too. For some time we have been trying out cars to replace our ageing xylo but none comes close to the 3rd row seating space, and we do need that space.

One who is hunting for a smart, sharp looking highway cruiser, dynamic abilities, body control, brilliant ride quality, premiumness with a fair bit of offroading will pick up the XUV 7OO. Ride quality, body control, performance (both gasoline nd diesel), stability is better in XUV 7OO because it is a Monocoque contruction. But it can't even come close to ScorpioN when off the road and over bad roads, the latter feels indestructible.
The sheer leap of visualizing, executing and delivering a complete all round package speaks volumes about M n M foundation and relentless belief. Yes they tend to lean a lot in terms of design detailing on a lot already proven and approved out there, but that is all a part of the last day of a graduation thesis or deliverables we are a part of, where all the time is none of it and one has to pick a feather or two from his/ her immediate environment. But this Scorpio-N truly is now in a league of its own.

Hydraulic hatch rear tailgate would have been a welcome addition to the new Scorpio. The side opening tailgate has lots of issues which no one discusses. It's a big missed opportunity for a premium upgrade by Mahindra.
Everything has been improved and enhanced in the Big Daddy except the Charm of SCORPIO. If you will ask a person about this vehicle, who is not aware of the hype or propaganda created by the company, He cant recognize this Big Daddy as a Successor of the Legend SCORPIO.
This is the best car along with Thar that Mahindra has made.... Few of you will say XUV 700 But this ScorpioN will age beautifully It is a new design but has been or atleast look like, been taken inspiration from LC Parado It has simple elegant design Good Power 4WD Elegant interior which is gonna be nice even after 10-12 years. Scorpio isn't going to be snatching from harrier/safari or XUV buyers. They are looking for a stylish family cruiser and not a BOF 4x4. If you look at the harrier safari sales chart the numbers have been steadily going up despite them not offering 4x4
I think, they kept the boot door opening sideward intentionally. As the car is tall, if it opens upward, it will be untouchable for shorter people when its opened. In that case they needed to give electronic support which they cant due to the budget constraints. Think of it..

I am decided to buy scorpio n and xuv 700 has long waiting ... now I am also in ncr and confused between petrol z4 at or diesel z6 at ... mahindra not offering z6 in petrol but with small more money...in z6 we get small sunroof and lot of feature like adrenox, 4x4 and driving modes etc... my initial budget was 12 lkh and difficult to extend more for z8 petrol at ... also as price of mahindra are introductory...so I think it will be good value buy but unable to decide between 15 year z4 petrol with less feature or 10 year z6 more feature... please share your opinion sir... running will be less than 600 km per month , occasionally may go to 1000 km once a month but my confusion is more about feature we can get in z6 and more milage we will get in z6 diesel as compared for z4 petrol

Ftom the front it is muscular and a big YES but from the rear end its a Big NO talking about the design elements and even the rear seating row.
