You might not have been around long enough to remember this, but when SC2 first came out Destiny would use an overloard as a "Retard magnet" to draw his opponent's units out of position and kill them.
11:55 I've heard of nerd chills before... but nerd warm fuzzies?? Many thanks to Wyrmhole for submitting the game, much respect! What an honor to be casted in these hallowed halls 😃
diamond level games are so strange... I got to diamond using fast BC into mass BC, I`m not even surprised... like 90% of builds would win against that, but it just kept working... I honestly think my opponents just refused to believe there is such an amount of stupidity in one universe...
@@jonathan1613 This is funny because it must be true. Back when heart of the swarm was new me and a friend would 4 gate zealot rush everyone in 2v2's. It was hilarious how often it would work.

33:25 he probably right clicked on a viking instead of a move. So when one viking got shot down, half of his army will stop bc the target no longer exists.
15:15 I don't know if you mention this, but you have to appreciate how Wyrmhole moves his Immortals in and gets their barriers activated, then moves them out and does not get back in until the barriers have run out. I wonder if he thinks the barriers increase damage taken rather than absorb.
It was a good episode, but I was infuriated after 12 minutes. Thanks Wyrmhole for taking 1 year out of my life expectancy and thanks to Harstem for returning it back with commentary
@@capeshifter2155 exactly Sean, this is more like a funny/sarcastic way to help the players to changes big mistakes they have in their games and worst that they don't even are aware of them.
this was more exciting than most movies that are being filmed right now, the excitement, intrigue, betrayal (constant sacrifice of units to mines, then running away), action, and then the finally with the possible sequel? (if wyrmhole sucks, does he improve and send another). I'd watch this in theatre
This series is brilliant! So far every one I have seen boils down to people making some pretty obvious mistakes (obvious once the Dutchman points them out to us non-players) - and he playfully mocks the players but the whole thing is more of a critique and lesson than just an out and out bashing; it's something you can watch and learn from. Absolutely brilliant.
Very entertaining as usual. I think my favorite moment was when he decided to flank a stationary turret, then paused, sent in an Archon as a sacrificial lamb, and then walked his army into the mines choosing uption A and C. I've never seen mines get so many kills in a SCII game.
Them widow mine games never disappoint. This terran is definitely a Florencio follower, if he isn't the man himself. "Cringer" sure sounds like something Flo would name one his accounts.
I know it's a lot to take, but please make a separate control group for your nexus and continuously build probes. I don't care what happens on the map. Continuous probes, no excuse. If you have supply block, deal with it. If they cheese you, deal with it. If you have to micro against banelings or storms, deal with it.
I just finished watching Evangelion and I gotta say this match was a bigger carrousel of emotions, it had everything, intrigue (how is he losing this match?), protagonists (the mines, that one turret), better characterization (the proxy planetary fortress > Mari), I felt harder for Wyrmhole than I did for Shinji.
I liked Evangelion, but its just too much anime weirdness for my taste, too much Shinji falling on boobs "by accident", the angel stuff and the last episodes are amazing tho
"I don't even know what hotkey you'd need to press to stop half your army." My guess is he targeted a single unit with f2, the units he recalled to the base killed that unit and the other half of the units stopped.
Dude, this is phenomenal. This guy just walked straight up to the mines several times in a row while he was microing his units. How is this possible? Even if you couldn't see grey circles on the ground, there is a line to your unit. Is NA's plat equal to like EU's silver or what?
I remember planetary fortress rushes back in 2010-2011, they have been around forever. Just follow it in the air with a couple workers until you can get a ranged unit out.
I had stopped playing SC2 multiplayer when LoV came out due to many reasons. I dabbed into a little bit a few years ago but never as heavily as I did previously. When I did play it was mostly team games. Recently I’ve been feeling nostalgic and wanting to jump back into playing again and start playing more 1v1s. I felt like maybe I was too old and the re-learning curve would be steep. I stumbled upon your videos and this video…THIS VIDEO right here is the straw that broke the camel’s back. Most of the people in this series were bad players. Some in higher levels. But this player was SO BAD it gave confidence that I can compete in 1v1s and make masters. I literally could’ve won this game in 5 minutes. Thank you for posting these videos I am now playing SC2 again
Hi there. Just found your content. Was never a SC2 player myself, but played some brood war back in the day. Beautiful blend of humor and intelligent commentary. Good job man.
I remember a guys planetary rushed me some tiem ago, and I didnt think of the stop from landing trick, was to shocked lol:), but it actually worked ok for me, just pulled like 10 probes and chronoed some zealots, then stalkers., killed before they morphed into plantaries
I was watching and during the Wyrmhole cam I found myself wondering what Terran was doing, and thought 'Battlecruisers' and then looked at production tab. I'm so glad my cheesy Terran brain still works.
Mines also give me alot of trouble. I just use mass tempest and hope for the best. Edit: Oh hey, he did the thing, but he really doesn't have much of a plan lol. He really did dead ass lose his brain. Also, he was humming Hyrule Castle from The Legend of Zelda and then later on, he was humming Goldeneye :D
If doing this cheese properly you land CC just outside of field of view of Nexus on main, and yes you do research range. Ideally your opponent would realize what's happening only when PF starts shooting at Nexus xD
Harstem I had an idea for a video, try a multiplayer game vs some of you friends but use the campaign units mod, and see how it goes with all the different units and options. Think it would be hilarious tbh.
Ok, the best part is not walking into planetary or mine 8 times in a row. It's the last few minutes- he accidentally built a bunch of Tempest, a hard counter to BC he had no idea his opponent was building and not once did he click them to attack a BC
"This bunker is just an idiot magnet. And Wyrmhole seems very attracted to it." I'm dead

There were like 30 widow mines. Tower was not defenseless, though I will say it was impressive that he decided to attack it on the ramp side
