The snow plow driver saw a Ford Edge parked where his body was found, and the police did NOT even investigate that? WOW! That is reasonable doubt right there!!! If I were a juror, just with that alone I would NOT be able to convict her.

I hope a not guilty in this trial can be the beginning of her healing journey. From the very beginning, she was prevented from doing things that would’ve brought her closure. Wasn’t able to go to the funeral and was first being criminally charged at that time.
Its heart breaking that two young people lost both parents and an uncle in such a short time. My heart goes out to them ❤❤❤.
I agree! Interesting that everyone is innocent until proven guilty but all of these folks are finding her innocent without even a full week of testimony. I’m undecided however one things for sure. This family needs our prayers!

@mistibarrett6849 So far, you cannot convict with no documented evidence/interviews.. they also didn’t have photos of the Johns body at the crime scene. Red plastic cups were used to collect blood, a leaf blower was brought in, you cannot convict someone of 2nd degree murder without a proper investigation./evidence

Yes!! I from the beginning didn’t think she did it, but I can understand why people did, but I mean by day two clearly we all know she didn’t do it. She been set up.
I believe she did it at first. Until I researched all the evidence and did my own little thorough investigation. I like to see the evidence and everything to truly form an opinion. Now I can say that I believe she is innocent.

I tried to watch the trial but I got bored. His brother's testimony was sad and I feel so bad for him losing his sister, brother in law AND his big brother. Other than that...I was booored. Maybe because it always takes time to get all the formalities out of the way. Luckily I knew my girl would have the recap and I didn't have to sit through it all. Thank you, gorgeous! The Prosecutor’s opening statement was horrible!!! He didn’t lay out a timeline and was bringing up people’s names that made ZERO sense. The defense Attorney was chef’s kiss, perfection!

The prosecutor was going for the emotional approach. Two poor kids lose their parents,amazing uncle steps in to the care of them and he's now been murdered. We're tasking you the jury to find someone guilty for these poor orphans. And John's poor parents have now lost 2 kids in a short period of time

No one in that bodycam footage looks surprised or shook up, except the wife. She looks terrified.
12 years ago I came home from work a d fou d my husband dead on the couch. He had had a heart attack. I was screaming my head off. I called 911 a d the dispatcher was asking me all kinds of questions and telling me to do CPR and I was flipping out because you can't do CPR on a dead body. My neighbors came to help because I was making so much noise. This woman seems to be acting exactly how I would expect someone to act, if they didn't know where their spouse was then suddenly found them dead in someone's yard in the snow.
Everyone else in this video, they look suspicious as hell. No one crying. No one else running around with this load of energy. Just a bunch of people standing there "oh. A dead body. Well, that sucks."

My thoughts are with the O’Keefe’s. They lost so much. Paul lost both of his siblings and the niece and nephew lost both of their parents and now their guardian/uncle. Just awful and heartbreaking 💔
And even lost the woman who was caring for them during pandemic. She clearly loved them since the fight she was having with John was about buying the kids too many gifts

Plus they lied about the time it was towed away from her parents home. It’s on video camera, so it proves cops lied about the time….plenty of time to remove parts of the taillight to frame Karen for. They were found AFTER the car was towed.

I am watching the trial and I am amazed how the police "forgot" to document everything. Since I go back tomorrow I will have to catch the recap on Court TV. Great summation of yesterday's session.
They didn't forget. They already knew who did it. They just needed to CREATE the evidence to frame her. IE Tail light glass, motive over her completely normal couple fights, etc.
Need to watch the trial. The first cop seems to have embellished what she said at the scene. He changed his testimony after he wrote his report and spoke to state troopers. He changed it during grand jury testimony then changed it again after that. Also a figure in background going into the house while body was still on ground. No one ever came out to see what was going on from that house seems strange.
This jury is being deprived of any knowledge & evidence of the many ways in which the Alberts had their hands in this investigation. The judge is withholding evidence of the witness's bias from the jury!
The _ONLY_ witness who claims to have heard Karen say she hit John happens to have been friends with Brian Albert's daughter for over ten years - and the judge doesn't want the jury to know that! In fact, she prevented them from knowing it, and they must instead infer what the true facts are solely from Jackson's unanswered questions of McLaughlin (a Canton PD Firefighter/Paramedic).
As Jackson stated for the record, this is a violation of Karen Read's rights & prohibitive of a fair trial.
I remind you that a man was found deceased on Brian Albert's lawn, and NOBODY in his home at the time was ever investigated. The home was never SEARCHED. The corruption is *_staring you in the face!_*

You should cover NOAH PREGROVE from Oklahoma. They found him with just his shoes on and missing teeth after a 4 day party with friends. Most of the party was recorded but no one knows what happened to him.

What did the autopsy say?
Of course the Officers and Detectives don’t want to be wrong! They most likely didn’t do a proper investigation before detaining her. Same thing when my daughter’s dad passed away, the girl he was with that night said it was a suicide and they took her word! Later we find out from the Funeral Home that we should do a better investigation because they see stuff like that all the time and in their professional opinion he was in fact shot at least a distance of 5 feet away. They also asked what hand he typically used and he’s right handed. They said nope he was shot on the left side and from afar about 5 feet away! So no they never did a proper Autopsy either they based it upon word of mouth instead of Doing their job! He never got the Justice he deserves and she’s out and free
If she is innocent (which I am leaning towards), but remember that airline pilot, and the evidence clearly pointed to his ex wife setting him up (in a sloppy way if you ask me), yet 12 people found him guilty of murder. Justice kind of doesn't play into it at times, it depends which side is more convincing.
@@ruthhase-gutierrez9830idk all the details but I remember that regular autopsy said wounds on his arm were from being dragged or hit or something, whereas FBI autopsy said they were FOR SURE animal inflicted. Like they couldn’t have been caused by anything else.
The person who seems to be the one that murdered the guy (if we are going with that theory) got rid of his dog like two days after all this went down. Dog was a police dog so it makes sense the wounds would be on one arm, if you think of how they attack.
The regular autopsy said no way but fbi all but guaranteed it.
Some other differences I don’t remember but this stood out to be the most.

I wouldn't hold a lot of hope in the "reasonable doubt" defense. I've watched so many trials that the reasonable doubt was overwhelming yet the jury found them guilty.

That PD covered up another murder committed by one of their officers, and covered up a bunch of horrible stuff multiple officers and their boss did to minor... I don't think she did this, I think John either knew or was part of the other case and this was their answer to keeping their secrets

She’s already clearly innocent. She’s not even in warm enough clothes; she’s the only one surprised, in shock, upset and literally running in circles in total disbelief . Meanwhile those two “ladies” were all bundled up in their coats and just standing there as she’s running around and screaming Johns name. It’s a rap if I’m on the jury.
@BozeBabycake her actions on the police car video gives meaning to the saying the guilty usually speaks first & is always the loudest and the fact she made sure to do it all in front of the camera.... But honestly only 3 know the truth the victim, her and the Good Lord and the rest of us will probably never know....

I really hope that they talk about the cocktail glass that was found by John!!! That's bugged me from the first time I learned about this case. If he didn't go in and get served at the house why did he have a glass? I mean, did he leave the bar with it? If so, it would be on the camera footage. So, I hope they explain it or at least talk about that!

They are taking advantage of a woman who by all accounts was extremely inebriated. I can totally see her jumping out saying "omg I hit him"? Questioning her own possible actions, realizing how intoxicated she was. That does not mean she doesn't mean she did hit him. It's wondering Out Loud...Did I?? I can also see those at the home going...oh yeah you hit him alright! Knowing her state she was in. This smells FOUL from the Jump!
I don’t understand why she wasn’t charged a DUI on top of everything else. At the very least she should be in jail for that. It’s insane that this woman was driving around wasted like that!!

Did they get a blood alcohol level? It was many hours after she dropped him off. No proof she was inebriated when she dropped him even with seeing her at bar. How many drinks did she have?

Girl I watched day 2, it only took about 30 mins in and I was like holy moly! Like they have to let this woman go right?! Imo just the way the cops alone handled this within the first 2 hrs of the investigation gives enough reasonable doubt!

Not to mention if one of them is driving in HORRIBLE conditions (therefore not able to look in detail at the lawn immediately) and one of them is SO worried about the screaming and nothing else, but Karen is actively scanning the yard from the passenger side backseat, it makes sense that she’d find what they were searching for first. She dropped him off there, so that's the last place she knew he was and that's the FIRST place I would look!
There should be DNA in those marks to prove if a dog made them! Right? Not hearing anything about DNA collected yet

my thoughts too...I would have thoughts swabs taken..then when we learned of dog..however whi can prove they would get the swabs from the correct rehomed dog..its been pretty bad so I might believe they wouid get another dog since this one had a new home...no Justice is seems so far in many ways ?
His arm injuries were never swabbed for DNA or anything else.

The girls vacationing with j&k in Aruba weren’t even THERE that night and they were still sought out in the original investigation. However, some of the teens who WERE there that night didn’t get interviewed by ANYONE until the lawyers were prepping for this trial!! Honestly, if there’s a “witch hunt” going on, it seems like the original investigation wanted to point the finger at Karen and they would highlight anybody they could to back up the theory. And now they’re going to play on these kids’ emotions because they think they might have damning evidence on Karen behind closed doors. Gross

It was such a shock to find him dead that I believe in her mind her first thought was, “did I hit him?” and her mind at the time that was the only possibility. I’m sure she wasn’t thinking about being framed at the moment.
What's so sad about this case is that no matter the outcome, the family of John will always have questions about what happened to their son. Its so heartbreaking for his parents who have lost 2 of their 3 children and for his niece and nephew who have now lost both their parents and their guardian. The police have ruined any chance for his family to get definitive answers about what happened.
the defense attorney, knows exactly what happened. someone came forward to him Feb 3 after karen was charged... he wouldn't sign an avidavit. ... but gave explicit details that no one else would know.

Absolutely!! Jenn McCabe was Jihn neighbor/ friend for 10 yrs. She called 911 saying there's a man in the snow and he is unresponsive.REALLY!!! And John OKeefe was found at Jenn McCabes SISTERS house. If I found a dead body at MY sisters house, I would be afraid they were dead in the house!!! But Jenn never thought to check to see if her sister, bil and niece and nephews were ok. THIS STINKS TO HIGH HEAVEN.

I wasn’t 100% sure she was framed but after this I 100% believe she was framed & these cops are corrupt af!.. I pray she gets a not guilty verdict! I believe she’s innocent & I can’t imagine being framed for something so horrible like this. You could tell she loved John 😢
