7:42 every market is a market
8:51 copywriting and selling is not a gift
9:25 sales letter is the best sales letter
    10:25 the attention paradox
    12:38 the florist
you need to get into their head
    15:19 audience participation time wohoo
2 mins what are the pains of your market ?
2 mins what do they desire ?
20:53 pain relievers and gain creators
20:38 you need to talk to the market
    23:12 Kolbe and work style
    24:22 collect wow facts
you forget how it is to be a beginner
26:15 you can only sell one thing at a time
26:55 write to a timer (10 mins warmup ) (max 50 mins time block)
    28:46 the albino foreskin
30:24 separate creating from and editing (many write a blog and publish in 10 mins )
    31:47 break the story
    32:28 interview your copy
    33:20 the vomit draft
34:26 stop comparing your 1st step with someone's last
    35:24 great artists swipe
35:35 i have used the same template ?!?!?!
36:36 the offer trumps everything (Gary spent most time collecting facts then 2nd most in polishing offer)
37:12 removing risks (next thing he spent most of the time ) write down all reasons why people will not buy
    37:56 kill adverbs
    39:19 show don't tell
40:34 all the magic happens in the editing
41:35 the hook will emerge (never start with hook , it will occur you as you write)
42:31 do a del THAT run (remove that most time it sounds better)
42:54 read your copy out loud (do you fumble? )
43:12 expose your work (At the right time) feedback from respected people
    45:48 21st century Halbert
I am bored now someone continue in reply
Spoiler alert : watch completely the things that I found wow might be neah to you and vice versa

Focuses on the process of copywriting (and how to set yourself up for success) as opposed to just the contents. Extremely needed. Thank you. -- Pavel

This video should have 16 million views, instead a rat dragging a piece of pizza around has 16 million views!. And people wonder why the world has so many problems. Great video.

I left this video as soon as I read your comment and went to watch the rat video. Thanks for marketing the rat video for free, you certainly got me watching it. Who needs to listen to people talking about Gary Halbert when they could be watching a rat dragging a pizza! Thanks man! As long as there are rats dragging pizzas, we don't need to listen to these marketing videos!

Ed Dale no prob, I think ppl over focus on copywriting and not enough upon the totality of the direct mail ecosystem itself (they are *unknowingly* learning things out of context). How many of these internet "gurus" even know who list brokers are? or why the internet can at times be a limited marketplace? Do they even know who gary halbert (RIP =[ )? Bill Jayme?
