That's the second time I've heard Roam recommended by a smart marketer. I do like Notion, because it has similar linking capabilities for research & backlinking, tagging, etc. - but it seems like if it ever starts to fall short I'll know where to look next! Great conversation though fellas - great to hear from some legendz!
There's a lot of golden nuggets here but my main takeaway is perfection is the enemy and just put in the reps. Which is true not just in copy but in everything you want to master. I love David's baseball analogy of getting on base then worry about scoring later And his words about... "There's so much things in what we do that we don't know... So might as well just get it out there and see what happens" Thanks for sharing this Stefan! P.S. Your thumbnail game is killing it lately 🔥🔥🔥
Fascinating Stuff - found the idea of the 'iterative process' really helpful, perfectionism is a real leech. Thanks to all you guys for putting this out there - having the courage to risk failure seems to be the common thread - all of us think our work is a bit shit sometimes!
I heard that you can get to the top only after ten years of hard work or after ten thousand hours of hard work whichever comes first. The person who can do it faster than that is the exception to the rule. - TAV ♥️🇺🇸🌎👍
Hey Stefan, it seems that this is going to be an amazing session. I always wanted to ask you this question: Will I still be a Copywriter if I write for B2B rather than Direct Response?
Yep 100%. There are a lot of different forms of copywriting. And one of the biggest things that gets missed is the fact that copy and persuasion elements can get applied to virtually anything. Any time you're trying to persuade an individual to take action, you're being a copywriter :)
Hey Stefan, I'm almost finished watching this video. And straight-up: Gold! If you don't mind... with your permission, I will invite you in my morning mental meeting... to learn from you, too. Thanks!
So glad you enjoyed it! I'm not exactly sure what this morning mental meeting entails, but assuming it means studying my content, or watching my videos, or something like that - I'm happy to be a part of it :)
Hi Stefan, this is kind of like a ritual I've just started whereby I convene and meet (mentally) with the best people I'd love to learn from... Pick their mind in a sort... The vsl guy talked about variation of it...
Everyone talks about the time they wake up and that's very interesting, but at what time does everyone actually go to sleep? I tried waking up early in the morning, but my problem is that kind of schedule doesn't really fit with the lifestyle of my spouse and my family in general and on the long run I just end up being sleep deprived and it's frustrating because I feel like my environment end up working against me
I think you've got to do what's best for your schedule. I think for the vast majority of people, waking up early works best. But if you're just a night owl, or waking up early = being sleep deprived, then it's not worth it. Personally, I typically go to bed around 10 am, and I get between 6.5 - 8 hours of sleep per night. I don't set an alarm clock. If I had to say an average, it's probably about 7 hours.
This feels like I somehow ended up sitting at a table with a bunch of old friends. I found myself doing my best to not be noticed so I didn't get kicked out.
Hey! This video is full of knowledge! I've been trying to research for video like yours that really teaches the ideas in this RUclips vid.Your explanation really reminds me of the videos of Dr Ethan. Ethan's tips are totally useful and I actually learned a lot for midterms. He is the most knowledgable med student on RUclips and he explains diseases. I suggest you see his channel out and give the med student a subscribe over here! ➡️ #StudentDoctorEthan
