In my experience, (about 5 different installations), it has never frozen up. But like anything in plumbing & heating, you can't take short cuts. The Condensulate has to be fitted in the waste pipe internal to the building. Once in the outer waste pipe, it can then exit the building & run to an external drain/soakaway.
If it's that good, how is my installation fitted by British Gas freezing up so often!
