- This is a love letter to the most beautiful place in the world - Zermatt, Switzerland and its iconic Matterhorn mountain.
In the summer of 2019, I visited Zermatt as part of my Europe trip. This video is a quick look at my trip where I went hiking in Zermatt alone, summer skiing in Matterhorn Glacier Paradise and walking around the most beautiful Switzerland village while admiring the beauty of the Matterhorn and the surrounding Swiss Alps. There's so much to see and do in Zermatt, Switzerland!
I finally stayed in one of the chalets located in the old part of this Swiss Alps village. Zermatt is considered as the most visited Switzerland destination. If you have eaten a Toblerone chocolate, you'd recognize that the Matterhorn is indeed the Toblerone mountain. If you've been to Disneyland, the Matterhorn is also the mountain from the ride!

Then there's a reason to go back 🤗 I was thinking of dropping Zermatt as well because it's quite far from the Jungfrau region but still managed to visit and totally fell in love with the place. 🏔

Wow, that's incredible! It looks like you traveled around the region as well - I think Grindelwald, Interlaken, and Murren were some of my favorites. Lucerne and hiking up to Mt. Pilatus as well as Mt. Rigi is also unbelievably beautiful if you love hiking as much as I do! :)
@@dashaslens Yes I traveled the Jungfrau region before heading to Zermatt. I have vlogs about Lauterbrunnen, Mürren, Interlaken & Grindelwald if you wanna see too 🤗 I saw your video about your hike to Mt. Pilatus. It's incredible too! I like that it's still very green during September with bits of ice/fallen snow along the way.

try hiking Tour du Mont Blanc circuit for 11 days, for sure you will forever be in love with hiking!! :)
I heard so much about Tour du Mont Blanc but I haven't really tried hiking continuously more than a day. I actually just do casual walks in Switzerland. Haha. But next time, would love to do that with a friend. 🤗

You'll definitely enjoy it there! I surprisingly did a lot of things in Zermatt compared to the other Swiss villages.
