All four seasons are nice in Zermatt. This is the calm before the big rush of visitors which happens around December 15th. Despite bursting from all seams, this mountain village retains a very authentic atmosphere and you did a great job recording the sense of peace and quiet that makes this destination so unique in fall. Sorry you had such rained out day, but locals are always thankful for some rain, given that this is one of the driest and sunniest places in Switzerland. Thank you again!
I love how the buildings blend in with the natural surroundings, but also stand out. No rushing to beat the clock. Not many cars/trucks to take away from the scenery. This is beautiful. Thank you for this. You have a new subscriber.
No personal cars at all. They are banned. The only vehicles in the town are tiny electric taxis that take people from the train station to the hotels and any construction/emergency vehicles required (the former need a permit). I wish more places were like Zermatt.

Just amazing. No voice over, no introducing of things. Makes you feel like you are there and just wondering about the city like a tourist. Thanks for sharing this unique video 😇😇😇
Beautiful. The architecture living in harmony with nature, it's truly a beautiful sight. It's so different from where I live; everywhere in my city is nothing but boring, soulless (not to mention, ugly) high rise buildings and asphalts... If I lived in a place like this, I'd take a walk everyday just to gaze at the beauty around me (the buildings, too, are actually nice to look at) and breathe in, what actually seems like, clean fresh air. It makes me wonder what it's like to live in a country this beautiful.
The name of this place rings a bell. In 2004 I went hiking in the Alps, started in Chamonix, and if I remember we hit the border of both Italy as well as Switzerland up there in the mountains; and somewhere on the 8-day hike (my friends eventually went on for a further 8 days if I remember right) we were walking through these beautiful areas in Switzerland; I never forget how beautiful those houses were. I think they must have been headed to Zermatt eventually because the name rings such a strong bell... That was my first time hiking high up in the mountains; up there in those mountains I realized just how small and insignificant we are; but, man, it was such a beautiful place up there. Coming back to regular life here in London after that was really depressing. I was down in the dumps for weeks afterward. I first fell in love with mountains when I visited a small town near Cuneo, Italy, an area not too far from the French border, which was surrounded by snowcapped mountains. I envied the people living there; such beauty. But, this part of the world, just wow, it was something else. One of my bucket list items is to return to the alps and do the 'haute route' again, and complete it this time around.
The intro is perfect, such a light sound of raindrops and the wonderful shooting of the nature up the hills, with beautiful trees and the small cottage houses, and the river going downstream... It takes me to another world, it's good to sometimes watch these types of videos to get a full and rich experience of the many wonders of the nature. I think it's also cheap way to travel, especially in times like these. Many people get to see what their soul craves, and what otherwise would be unattainable. Great job👍
Switzerland possesses great natural beauty and diversity, from mountains, lakes, waterfalls to verdant fields. It is an ideal destination for those who want to explore and enjoy the wonder of nature.
