Phil Freeman of STT is definitely worth looking into. A vocal coach himself, he's aware of, trained in, and using many of the techniques already that you cover in your analyses. I think he'd be a great choice for one of your focus interviews.
@@iwasinnamuknow I watched that interview. Well over an hour long. And I was NOT bored one second of it. Of course, anything The Charismatic Voice does, makes me melt.
I am a gray haired granny, and heard this for the first time about week and a half ago......LOVE IT!! It is so different from all the others with some great surprises. Glad you liked it as well!
I am so happy this song won the Patreon poll!!! As soon as I saw Small Town Titans' cover of Mr. Grinch, I knew you would absolutely love it, and I wanted to see your reaction and analysis to it, and it did not disappoint! Such an amazing cover!
So Peter when can we expect The Bass Gang's version of this song? Yall would absolutely CRUSH this song. Yall's voices are practically tailor made for it.
Peter...so glad you picked this one up. By far my favourite cover of this song, especially with how he adds drama and intensity by shifting ranges as the song continues. Awesome stuff! 👍
Yeah, these guys just smacked this classic track we all remember from our childhood. Phil, the singer, is also a vocal coach, or used to be. I guess he still might be. The whole band just smoked this.
I loved watching you reacting to Phil's vocal work through the song, and to think they perform this song at just about every venue they play, regardless of the date. I would love to catch one of their shows live. This is their Stairway to Heaven song.
I heard this song for the first time a few years ago and it was an eye opener to me of how much I actually enjoy some metal music. I looked a bunch up afterward and really enjoy music with those big gritty belts!
THIS!!! This has made my YEAR! Now you see why I have recommended this since LAST YEAR! Watching your face @Peter Barber was a pure delight! I am smiling from ear to ear! Merry Christmas!
I'm glad you got to this, I knew you'd like it. Well and one that doesn't isn't human or is just trolling. Phill Freeman is truly amazing singer and cool guy that deserves more publicity that he is getting.
This will be played at my folks place on Monday, that's for sure. That was a joy to watch, I thought it would be! Love Elizabeth's influence on you lol
Always happy to watch a professional dissect Phil's vocals! It's been mentioned, but he is a vocal coach. This is my favorite band! I found this cover about 4 years ago and have followed the band dedicatedly ever since. We drove over 11 hours to see them at their first concert agter the Covid lockdown. Love, love, love these guys! Try, "The Man," next. Or "Devil's Choir." Devil's Choir has a goofy video, but the vocals are some of my favorites. Or if you're looking for another cover, "Halleleujah" is gorgeous in a very raw way that gi es goosebumps!
Loved your reaction. Great analysis and loved the joy on your face. Phil is a vocal coach and has worked with Elizabeth over at the Charismatic Voice doing reactions and coaching. Liked the TCV mug! Echo what others have said I think an interview with him and you would be so entertaining and enlightening.
I'm pretty sure he, along with Julia Nealon(?) are partners with Elizabeth from The Charismatic Voice for her vocal coach program thing. Oh! And I loved your reaction! I was hoping to see some new reactions to this this holiday season, and I'm very happy to see that you've done it!
Love seeing STT get another round in the spotlight thanks to this cover. They have so much amazing original music, but idk how many of their songs would work well for the reaction format. One song that would work, that you definitely shouldn't listen to off camera is The Devil's Choir. It's such a fun song.
STT are my hometown boys! This is my absolute favorite cover of Mr. Grinch. I also love their cover of Fat Bottomed Girls and their original song Devil's Choir.
False fold at the end, beautiful ❤️😍 Rock is my favorite style of music and that was amazing ❤🎉 bravo 👏👏 can't wait to hear you, Peter, get gritty. Rawr!!! Lol
Love this version! 🤘🎸 Nice to have a reactor with Peter which not only has knowledge about all the music stuff but also is open for very different styles and genres.
this be my fav rock version of mr grinch before that it had been the offspring's version but l will always still love thurl ravenscroft's version best as it be from my childhood l be 57 now
This is a wonderful interpretation of the Grinch and I've enjoyed it since I heard it last year. Still I want to add another version to your list of Grinches, namely that of Tommy Johansson and his bandmates from Majestica. Everytime I see a reaction to the Grinch I feel obliged to also recommend ing to follow up with the Elliott Robinson rebuttal. Obviously not necessary in your case. Must obliged to you for introducing me to that song.
I’ve learned a lot from your videos. Oh, and I have to say that of all the different reaction videos I have watched, you are the ONLY one that I don’t mind and actually enjoy hearing you sing to explain, show, enjoy what you’re listening to. Most of the other people when they try to sing on their videos, I just kind of go, please don’t.
A couple more of STTs songs I enjoy are The Devil's Choir and Party in Hell. I've loved STT since Grinch came out (another metal gray-haired granny!) 😂
As expected this one was really interesting for both you and us :) In my singing education for not-singers I'm still trying to figure out how to differ belt from a strong mix (Jinwook's F5s and even A5s are so powerful that I hard time figuring out where the belting ends... but supposedly it sounds different). I'd love to hear your insight in this topic one day.
honestly makes me wonder how i stack up on volume with an opera singer.. i get VERY loud, TOO loud for some listeners. had someone tell me that i made their ears ring
This is one of my top Christmas songs for sure, thanks to the amazing vocal and voice-acting performance this singer puts in. It's a great rock arrangement as well. Wonderful reaction and Happy Holidays, Peter! Once the festivities are over, I hope we can convince you to react to an even more shocking performance: Angelina Jordan's own arrangement of I Put A Spell On You, recorded when she was just 9 years old. The stars in their courses stop to listen whenever it's played. Here's a link for convenience: ruclips.net/video/nwFloCPXzCs/видео.html
Peter i just found your channel and I would like to watch you sing. I looked throught your play list but I didnt find it. Could you help me to find your vídeos where I can see you sinhing? Also do you teacher singing lessons?
Was about to subscribe for some STT reactions, but found none. How do people hear the greatness of this band, then move on to lesser music without another thought? STT is an amazing band, but the only love they get is people reacting to "Grinch" every Christmas. It makes my brain hurt!!!
Phil Freeman of STT is definitely worth looking into. A vocal coach himself, he's aware of, trained in, and using many of the techniques already that you cover in your analyses. I think he'd be a great choice for one of your focus interviews.
He also seems to be a really nice guy and has done an interview for The Charismatic Voice not too long ago :)
@@iwasinnamuknow I watched that interview. Well over an hour long. And I was NOT bored one second of it. Of course, anything The Charismatic Voice does, makes me melt.
I've Seen them Live in The Chicago Burbs! They Stuck Around, and signed CD's!
Small town titans is by far the best "RUclips" band I have ever stumbled across.
Phil sounds like the album version in person...every time. He's amazing!
This was so much fun. Your enthusiasm when you get to analyze bass singers, is truly delightful.
I've listened to this version at least 100 times since stumbling across it 2 weeks ago. 😂
Small Town Titans Hallelujah.
100% yea!! Immediate goosebumps. Phil’s voice is angelic on Hallelujah! ❤️✨
YES!!
STT cover of hallelujah is one of my personal favorites of theres. As well as their cover of Queen's fat bottomed girls
I am a gray haired granny, and heard this for the first time about week and a half ago......LOVE IT!! It is so different from all the others with some great surprises. Glad you liked it as well!

By far my favorite Christmas song. Ever. Great reaction. 🇨🇦❤️
So Peter when can we expect The Bass Gang's version of this song? Yall would absolutely CRUSH this song. Yall's voices are practically tailor made for it.
I remember the first time I saw this I was absolutely gobsmacked. 🤯 Loved the reaction…so glad you found and enjoyed this. ❤
Happy Christmas 🎄

Love this group. They have a great cover of "Hallelujah" as well
I’ll have to check it out!
I heard this song for the first time a few years ago and it was an eye opener to me of how much I actually enjoy some metal music. I looked a bunch up afterward and really enjoy music with those big gritty belts!
Oh yeah, Phil can belt!!! His vocals are insane 🥰🥰🥰
THIS!!! This has made my YEAR! Now you see why I have recommended this since LAST YEAR! Watching your face @Peter Barber was a pure delight! I am smiling from ear to ear! Merry Christmas!
ive talked to phil numerous times and he has helped me with my belting, really great genuine guy.
Me, Myself, and Monster. It's one of their own songs. It rocks!
Phil did a tea time interview and some reactions with Elizabeth at The Charismatic Voice. Really interesting stuff. Yes, Phil is a beast!!
I really want to hear STT do another Queen song "Hammer to Fall"
You should listen to their version of Folsom Prison Blues. Phil has an incredible voice.
They recorded an acoustic version of this song that’s really good as well.
This is a kick ass version of this song!!!!!!! Holy cow!! 🤯
I'm glad you got to this, I knew you'd like it. Well and one that doesn't isn't human or is just trolling. Phill Freeman is truly amazing singer and cool guy that deserves more publicity that he is getting.
Great R&A, as expected. Definitely a unique version of the song.
This will be played at my folks place on Monday, that's for sure.

Ohhh, love unexpected, interesting covers! Thank you for showing this to me. Now I gotta explore these Titans as well.
Loved your reaction. Great analysis and loved the joy on your face. Phil is a vocal coach and has worked with Elizabeth over at the Charismatic Voice doing reactions and coaching. Liked the TCV mug! My favorite cover of the Grinch…These guys are really good.
You should hear their original " I am the Man" its incredible
I'm pretty sure he, along with Julia Nealon(?) are partners with Elizabeth from The Charismatic Voice for her vocal coach program thing.

Wow, his voice is amazing! So deep and powerful with great range. His deep, round low range reminds me of Colm McGuinness.
I could have sworn you had reacted to this one already but I’m glad you finally got to it
I saw in another video that your friend n Philly, Fun fact these guys are from York
Thank you for this reaction, your enthusiasm and joy was crystal clear! Please listen to their cover of Hallelujah.
I hope this is the first in a dive into their music. More please!!!
If you like the crazy eyes, check out their songs "The Man" and "Rufflin' Feathers"
Dang it, Wes, how do you keep scooping me?! Lol. Merry Christmas! ❤️💚❤️💚❤️💚❤️

Love this version! 🤘🎸
Nice to have a reactor with Peter which not only has knowledge about all the music stuff but also is open for very different styles and genres.
I first heard this song when I was in junior high. It's SICK! The talent of this band is crazy, and you need to interview them.
100% recorded live
Much lurve! This band is awesome!
this be my fav rock version of mr grinch before that it had been the offspring's version but l will always still love thurl ravenscroft's version best as it be from my childhood l be 57 now

Thank you! Awesome.
Knew you would love it!
omg I forgot about this! This is so special!
Really interesting analysis for this one Peter. I have not come across this group before and will be looking for more from them.
Wonderful! Great band and I learn something from your videos every time! ❤🎶🎄

LOVE these guys! ❤
Love this one ❤
I can't even reach a high D and I'm a girl lol. Awesome reaction!!! (And PS Thanks for signing my Messiah program ;))
Would definitely love to hear you listen to The Man by Small Town Titans! More vocal range on display by Phil in that song!
Check out their cover of Hallelujah!!
A couple more of STTs songs I enjoy are The Devil's Choir and Party in Hell. I've loved STT since Grinch came out (another metal gray-haired granny!) 😂
Merry Christmas Peter!
You'll probably skip it but you still NEED yes NEED to hear voiceplay's cover of whiskey in the jar. Geoff does something very special!
As expected this one was really interesting for both you and us :)

Can’t say I like metal at all, but the analysis was great. My voice hurts just listening! Ouch! Thanks for this !
Done properly, metal does not hurt at all. I can sing with heavy distortion for hours at a time
❤
Type O Negative cover of Summer Breeze!!!
honestly makes me wonder how i stack up on volume with an opera singer.. i get VERY loud, TOO loud for some listeners. had someone tell me that i made their ears ring
Check out they're cover of folsom prison blues

I used to chat with them before they became huge… super sweet guys!!!

Peter i just found your channel and I would like to watch you sing. I looked throught your play list but I didnt find it. Could you help me to find your vídeos where I can see you sinhing? Also do you teacher singing lessons?
Now you know why people kept recommending this one to you (I think I first heard it last year),
Привет, Питер! С наступающими праздниками!🥰😆💞💙❤🌷🌼🌻🥀
Your thoughts on Disterbed?
Comment for algorithm =)
PLEASE react to their cover of Folsom Prison Blues. The only make who can hold a candle to Cash is Phil.
Be careful. STT is a pretty good rabbit hole. Phil Freeman is a killer singer.
Tiny dancer!
💚❤🎄
I looked up the Elliot version, no way in hell does it compare to STT.
Music not my cup of tea but your analysis made it worth sitting through.
plz react to Forestella - Despacito
fer sure
Was about to subscribe for some STT reactions, but found none. How do people hear the greatness of this band, then move on to lesser music without another thought?
STT is an amazing band, but the only love they get is people reacting to "Grinch" every Christmas. It makes my brain hurt!!!
They have a channel.
yo why does he kinda look like M shadow
Yeah... he's loud. Maybe a little
You talk tooooo much. I am in disbelief.
