@@HighlandHikers yeah hope you are correct. I am currently in Glasgow visiting family (was born here and moved to US when I was a child) . I was wondering where the entrance is near Nitshill Road? Is it near the Darnley Tree?
It’s just opposite it and slightly along the road towards Sainsburys, just where the road crosses the burn. I’ll be keeping my fingers crossed and getting for a few lates nights soon. Late Sunday night games kill me.
Hi Douglas and Alistair really enjoyed this walk. Great idea to start off in your areas and manage to meet up together. You seem to have so many options of places to walk have you say I’m quite envious 😊
Thanks Liz. I think because we are in 2 different areas we have more options available between us, but I think I speak for both of us when saying that we are desperate to see a Munro again! Have you been able to see more of your local area? - Alistair
@@HighlandHikers Hi Alistair Yes I live by the coast, so have been on many coastal walks and runs but really miss the countryside and Scotland as I love to go there every year so I can understand how your missing seeing a Munro 😊
I was told that the ruined house once belonged to lord darnley who married mary queen of scots . Don't know if they both lived there after getting married.
Denver Broncos! Hell Yeah! Wow can’t believe we have fans from Scotland! Awesome. Love from Denver Colorado! 🇺🇸
Thank you! I’d say I love watching them but the last few years haven’t exactly been fun. Maybe Lock will turn the corner this season.

Even to get away from the city is a bit of a dream just now! Would love to see the coast again.

Very interesting! Love an old ruin, makes you wonder about what happened there over the years.
