@@jamessims5240 I had sampled bdc 3 times before it started smelling good. My first 2 samples were definitely off but my third was from chanel and it was fire.
Some people believe Chanel doesn't want to follow a trend started by a competitor (Dior) it believes is beneath it. It would devalue the brand. Also, it's been 6 years since BDC Parfum was released so if their equivalent of an Elixir doesn't blow the ones in this video out of the water then they shouldn't even bother

Elixir’s are no gimmick imo, they are rich and luxurious. The concentration makes them feel unique. I love Sauvage Elixir, i feel wealthy and mature and masculine when i wear it ❤
I really like DS Elixir but can understand why some will think it is annoying and overbearing. It is a very strong fragrance and will not be for everyone.
@@Chaoitcme Makes sense, i totally hear you on that. I wore 2 sprays in summer here in South Africa and got a migraine that lasted 2 days 😂 it was 36 degrees celsius that day. But i had to wear it because I love it so much despite the heat ✌🏻😁
@@Julian.watchingyt DS Elixir is probably not best suited for hot weather. It is more of a winter or clubbing fragrance. I wear when I go out to bars, as it is a good way to get noticed in close courters, but am watchful of where else I am going, as if it is really hot outside people around you might find it off putting.
@@Chaoitcme Thank you ☺️ I do know that. I only wear it at night to events or dates. But I had just gotten it that week and was determined to wear it. I have Sauvage EDT which works better, but also Cologne and Sport for the day. Intense also for night and the whole Eros range and JPG’s for day 😂

saying that one million parfum was a lackluster release is insane to me cause its one of my most complimented fragrances out of my 50+ bottles collection
It's my favorite 1 million alongside Privee
Perfumes can sometimes be meh from a technical perspective but still give you amazing performance and compliment potential.
One Million Parfum is the only One Million I own and I love the smell. Its sweet, strong, somewhat floral and in my opinion is best worn in winter, 3 sprays maximum. Cheers

I got Gucci Guilty Elixir as a tester after purchasing another cheapie.
This made me drop around 120 USD on the smallest bottle I own, but I would never regret it.
The more I wear it the nicer it gets, idk what is in this concoction.

I have about 12+ different colognes, and FOR ME currently and for the foreseeable future, Carolina Herrera Bad Boy Cobalt Elixer has been my favorite. Last a long time (for me) and smells great, great compliment getter
Invictus Victory Elixir has got to be my favorite, a gorgeous multi-faceted spicy fragrance that gives way to a luxurious vanilla with wonderful longevity, 10/10 for me ❤️🔥

Invictus Victory Elixir to me has a nutty vibe to it and it feels more mature to me than OG Victory.

I wish there was a video showing the elixir flankers ranked from performance . Strength is one of if not the most important aspect for me.
Most are good performers, the top 2 are going to be sauvage Elixir and Gucci guilty Elixir

I love the Gucci Guity line. I think nowadays both men and woman lines can be used as unisex scent. I can name a few frags that are similar to each other but the GC Guitly line still has its unique appeals: smooth, sexy and mysterious.

I would really like an Old Spice Elixir fragrance. I mean like, take the Old Spice Original EDT, and make it into an Extrait de Parfum.
You should try loewe esencia elixir which is in the same dna as creed aventus

My wife loves Victory Elixir on me. We'll have to agree to disagree on The Scent Elixir though, Omar - I think it's a banger. Also, £180 for Y Elixir?! It's only £129 on the YSL website and even cheaper at discounters like Notino and it's less than £100 in the airport duty free. I grabbed a bottle for £80 on eBay!
I do prefer and rank the Scent higher but I must admit if and when price is a factor the Bottled is the better bang for the buck. I would pay Nonito price for Y (approx 115 euros), but imho not a penny more.

Its my favorite offering from boss, as well as my favorite designer "elixir" definitely try it out, they have testers in every Macy's, try it on your skin even if you dont like the opening, it opens very woody, smooth spicy, and dries down to a very *slightly* woody spiced vanilla bourbon scent. Very masculine for such a sweet scent. Nowhere near as sweet as JPG Le Male Elixir or Gucci Guilty Elixir.
