Im buying a testing set of the best sounding ones to me based off of your review here. Excellent content, descriptive, articulate, professional, genuine and very helpful. Thank you for this video!
You are that dude! I’ve wondered about Mancera’s fragrances and you did them all. I think I’ll be checking out Kumkat Woods for sure and possibly black gold. Thank you for this ✊🏾✊🏾
I wore Cedrat Boise to a bar this weekend and a woman walked across the bar over to me to say I smelled “so good” while staring me in my eyes…I don’t think I need to explain what happened next 😂
Thank you for taking the time to put this together, I'm sure it was a lot of work and it's much appreciated. I've saved the video for future reference and am definitely interested in picking up Saharian Wind. Again, many thanks!
Eric, I realize it's only been a month since your post, but I'm curious to know if you bought it, and if so, was it as good as you hoped? The reason I ask, is because I'm considering a Mancera "Summer" scent blind buy. 😊
Black Gold is the most divided I've been on a fragrance. Overwhelming classic floral opening, but paired with a really leathery masculine drydown. It vascillates between being manly, grandmotherly, and just clean.
I own Red Tobacco and it is indeed a challenging fragrance. Often compared to PDM's Carlisle but i can't smell the similarities between the two. The opening is quite messy, especially upon the first appliance but it will smell better the more you wear it. I love it now for being something out of the ordinary.
Hands down the best fragrance of my 100+ collection, I’m a lumberjack from Minnesota if that helps, unbelievable power, and scent is so realistic, incredible
@@jorzzmarthin8046 Almighty? Is this a duel of the gods? Relax. We're talking perfume oils and alchohol in glass bottles here. Don't get all fangirlish on me for bringing up another fragrance. It's not that serious.
Hey Omar, I've picked up Saharian Wind yesterday. Your take was absolutely on point. It was nice, complex, boozy, sweet, spicy. Definitely hold its place against my Instant crush, Hindu kush, Red tobacco. I'm surprised you're the only one that talks about it. Definitely underrated scent. Apppreciate the quality content as always
In my opinion, Acqua di Parma has THE BEST fig fragrance with the Fico di Amalfi it’s so so good and the fig is the main player. It actually lasts pretty long too for the Blu Mediterranean line. Very addicting summer and spring scent
@@SchoolOfScent never heard of it or tried any BDK scents but the mix of fig, black tea, iris absolute abd tonka bean sounds insanely alluring. Is it masculine leaning?
true, Fico is sick and I doubt Mancera can get anywhere close in terms of ingredient quality. Recently I got Midnight Gold by Mancera and it's okay for first 3 minutes, but gets bland and sweet-ish in a weird way very quickly.
I quite enjoyed Jasmin Exclusif 😅 the jasmine is very strong imo, but it’s an extremely skanky jasmine on top of a skanky oud. I used to think Lush - Lust was about the skankiest jasmine fragrance around, but it’s nothing compared to this baby. The opening was heavier on the jasmine and after some time the oud came through more. It’s the most indolic Jasmin fragrance I’ve ever smelled, so there’s indeed a strong manure like note.. I’m a sucker for that though.. makes me think of farms and sheep and having sex in a haystack 😂 I’m not sure if I’ll actually wear this fragrance, cause -other than when you’re about to have sex in a haystack- I’m not sure if there’s any occasion where it’s appropriate to smell like sex in a haystack.. I love Red Tobacco too, but I only get the tobacco note if I overspray, which I can’t do with this fragrance because the boozy opening is likely to trigger migraine for me. If I spray a normal amount it smells like hay, wet leaves and herbs. It’s very pleasant to my nose though, not the pronounced, heavy tobacco I know from phaedon tabac rouge (which I can’t wear because of migraines), nor the soft honeyed blonde tobacco from Godet - Mondanité, but a nice natural herbal smell nonetheless. I experience it as very warm and soft, there’s no sweetness whatsoever, so I get why people see it as masculine, but it’s perfectly wearable for women.

I don't like how grade schooling has caused an irrational, top-heavily weighted scoring system. 5/10 is the numerical median, and therefore should represent the average score of fragrances. We associate 5/10 with bad, or some degree of "failure", but it should represent average. The majority of fragrances should gravitate near the middle, by the sheer definition of "average." Instead, 7 represents most people's average, which only leaves 3 degrees of delineation between average and a perfect masterpiece. Fig Extacy scored 6/10 here, which is numerically above average, but you didn't find it above average to your tastes. It's just my observation, not even a criticism, as this is the common, familiar weighting you find in the fragrance community. I just find the common scoring irrational and worth pointing out.

Thanks a lot for taking the time to make this video and especially to have all of these fragrances on you from mancera. Ive been holding back on buying any mancera fragrance because i wasnt too sure but you made it very clear and understandable of all the fragrances and even listed the notes in basically all of them. This helps me build my collection
Finally someone who speak language I understand. Most of frag reviews they start to talk about heavy chemistry, ingredients I'll never smell on their own and left me confused. One frag they make 20 min video. Review like this one say all needed to be said.
Okay let me say this about Black Gold, for some reason I got a VERY heavy impression of a PB&J sandwich. Bear with me now I could tell it was very floral, but for some reason the slight floral facet of it and the slight sweetness just gives me a grape jelly vibe for some reason 🤣 sadly I sent it back because I couldn’t wear it but does anyone else feel this way about it? I really wanted to love it from the note breakdown I was pretty sad tbh. Also yes it was the screw top with the flat atomizer version
I tested a few Mancera fragrances, but I generally dont like the DNA of this House. The fragrances are very dense and heavy and a bit oldfashioned. I recognized the similarity from Instant crush to Baccarat rouge , and Cedrat boise to Aventus. So if someone enjoys these fragrances, he might find a cheaper alternative.
I own a full bottle of Cedrat Boise. It is hands down the longest lasting fragrance I own. I sprayed a few blast on my hands a few weeks ago and then put some winter gloves on before a walk…every time I wear my gloves my hands smell strongly of Cedrat Boise. Lovely scent that you can wear nearly anytime anywhere. I think my next Mancera purchase is going to be Violet Oud.
I agree....kumcat wood smells like the LUMBER ISLE at HOME DEPOT!!! It has to be the WORST Mancera made! But it made the NUMBER list here! Somebody is smoking dope🤣
Top Recommendation, having tried most of your top recommendations I can say my favourite by far is Oud Exclusive. Just incredible balance between all elements that’s comprise this perfume. One that I don’t get nose blind to most importantly since I like to wear nice fragrances for myself and like to continue to smell them as well as people around me. I picked up a 60ml bottle of Red Tobacco with some 8ml samples including Oud Exclusive and I wish I bought a full bottle of the Oud instead
All manceras are about the drydown when i want to wear mancera i spray it before i go to sleep on clothes i will wear the next day, and as omar said , thats when the magic hapens
Great video and I enjoyed it and I like Mancera Cedrat Bosie and red Tobacco and Hindu Kush and I'm going to try the other fragrances and have a blessed day
I have 11 Mancera perfumes and Kumkat wood is my favorite fragrance. Not sure if someone said this before, but I think is identical to CK be. CK be has been one of my favorite fragrances since it came out but it doesn’t last long, like don’t even an hour. I can also see Chanel Blanche but I think is closer to CK be. Great Reviews!
Thanks for this video, Omar! After seeing it I picked up a few samples from mancera: Aoud Lemon mint: A very fun fragrance, heavy citrus opening as Omar described (I like it. Dry down is amazing, after 3 hours I get a sort of lemon cake kind of scent, which later turns into a nice musky scent. Very good performance as well. Will definitely pick up a bottle of this. 10/10 Aoud Violet: Love it, a nice (kind of blue) blue fragrance with floral notes. Been looking for a while for a nice floral fragrance for men. This is the one. Also on my list. 9/10 French Riviera: Quite like it on a paper strip (spicy tangerine with aquatic notes), but smells horrendous on my skin (probably the sea salt). 3/10 Kumkat wood: I get the appeal, a nice citrus scent with creamy notes. However, the performance is very fleeting on me (given that I thought it would easily surpass the 6 hours). 7/10 Vetiver Sensuel: I feel like this is done in a wrong way. Doesn't smell green enough, vetiver is not a star here. Smells a bit too perfumey to me for what I want out of such a fragrance. 5/10
I ordered online direct from Mancera and they should be arriving any day now. The card samples I previously purchased don't seem to have a batch listed. I'll update you with the batch number when they arrive.
Good and quick review on Mancera line. I own full bottles of Cedrat boise and Aoud Violet. Both really good different style parfumes. I'm have to say your description on Aoud Violet is quite difficult for me to agree. It's kinda fresh in a flowery/woody way but not aquatic out of the shower. Interesting.
KUMCAT WOOD is awful! Its a sharp, piercing wood smell It smells like the lumber isle at LOWES. If you want to smell identical to fresh cut wood at a construction site then buy KUMCAT WOOD.
I am 100% agree with your thoughts. I have almost all of them except 2 and you have explained in a very perfect way and the best part is that you have narrated every thing in the narration. Too good👍.
Crazy, some of the ones you didn't like are some that gave been my fav and worked best for me, Hindu Kush is one of my best, Aqua Wood has been a compliment getter and I bought Coco Vanille after trying it but once I bought it it felt too feminine so I gave to my girlfriend and she loved it and it smelled great on her... Aoud Lemon Mint and CB are absolutely great and I've sampled Sicily, Lemon Line and Black Gold were all really good!
@@oldiesgeek454 CB intense is their masterpiece in that regard, Sicily and Lemon Line, soleil d'itali are good but don't have the some roundness as CB if that makes sense, but they're all good freshies... Aoud Lemon Mint and Aqua Wood are more comforting all rounders than "fresh" because they dry down woody and sweet I'd say
I agree with you as well some he doesn’t like have been great compliment magnet 🧲🔥🔥🔥🔥. So it just goes to show how different taste can be. I absolutely Hindu Kush, Aoud Blue Notes, Aqua Wood 🤦🏽.

Agreed
Not gone lie . Your description of a lot of these seem way off to my nose , seems very rushed
Most of these are one wearing, there’s a lot of fragrances to get through, these guides need to be taken with a pinch of salt as I always say. 🤷♂️
What's the best mancera cologne for you please something more masculine versatile, projection really good and long lasting please
😅👍
Oh yeah, very easy to test 5 fragrances ( 5 samples) for 35 Euro... No way!!!
Mancera Red Tobacco smells like burnt rubber for the first 5 hours.. horrible frag imo..
When the Montale bro
My top 5 from mancera
1. Instant crush-
2. Saharian wind
3. Oud lemon mint
4. Cedrat Boise
5. Intense Cedrat Boise
Instant crush is devine, I can’t get enough, I bought a back up bottle as soon as mine arrived and I wore it for a day 😂
I own a full bottle of Cedrat Boise.
What batch you own?
I got strong projection with aoud vanille
Is it worth to pay more money for xerjoff fragrances? I mean they smell so unique but they are all very expensive.
Where is tonka cola?
You don't like Hindu Kush???...ok...
Gentlemen...get that Aoud Wood as well as that Cosmic Pepper like yesterday. Yeah.
Good luck trying to find Black Prestigium. I have a 96% full bottle
I love that stuff...I was very fortunate to find a 120ml one during a clearing for only E70,- 😅.
I found it this morning for 67 bucks
I dig your sense of humor. Doesn’t come out often but when it does it’s hilarious.
I really love this brand....Cedrat Boise intense is 100% the bomb.
1. A phantastic Video.
2. Please add yuzu and French Riviera if you can get them
3. considering the price the Brand is more on 8/10 or 8,5/10
Kumkat Wood is horrible! LOL
I agree....kumcat wood smells like the LUMBER ISLE at HOME DEPOT!!!
It has to be the WORST Mancera made! But it made the NUMBER list here!
Somebody is smoking dope🤣
I really need you to review the rest of the mancera house, please, and thank you. Really would appreciate it.
Acqua di Parma, please. I love this format, it's really helpful.
Would love a Tom Ford buying guide
👀
That’s an expensive request
I think Black Gold isn't as easy to wear! I didn't like it really. Great video btw!!
This was awesome, thanks a lot for the insight. Would love to see this done with montale as they have loads of fragrances that no one knows about haha
All manceras are about the drydown when i want to wear mancera i spray it before i go to sleep on clothes i will wear the next day, and as omar said , thats when the magic hapens
Does anyone know a good shop to try out these fragrances in store, in Canada or maybe in an American store?
Great video and I enjoyed it and I like Mancera Cedrat Bosie and red Tobacco and Hindu Kush and I'm going to try the other fragrances and have a blessed day
You didn’t review the best mancera the vetiver sensuel
Excellent video especially the reviews of little known hidden gem Mancera fragrances. Would love to see a similar video done for Montale.
That's interesting... But doesn't the Kumkat Wood smell more realistic or natural than CK Be? 😊
KUMCAT WOOD smells like the lumber isle at HOME DEPOT....nothing more...nothing less🤔
Missing French Riviera in this list?
I agree with you, they shove rose into every fragrance, makes it feminine.
Thanks for this video, Omar! After seeing it I picked up a few samples from mancera:
Aoud Lemon mint: A very fun fragrance, heavy citrus opening as Omar described (I like it. Dry down is amazing, after 3 hours I get a sort of lemon cake kind of scent, which later turns into a nice musky scent. Very good performance as well. Will definitely pick up a bottle of this. 10/10
Aoud Violet: Love it, a nice (kind of blue) blue fragrance with floral notes. Been looking for a while for a nice floral fragrance for men. This is the one. Also on my list. 9/10
French Riviera: Quite like it on a paper strip (spicy tangerine with aquatic notes), but smells horrendous on my skin (probably the sea salt). 3/10
Kumkat wood: I get the appeal, a nice citrus scent with creamy notes. However, the performance is very fleeting on me (given that I thought it would easily surpass the 6 hours). 7/10
Vetiver Sensuel: I feel like this is done in a wrong way. Doesn't smell green enough, vetiver is not a star here. Smells a bit too perfumey to me for what I want out of such a fragrance. 5/10
Cedrat Boise, Red Tobacco, Instant Crush - these are the ones you should go first.
@@Rogeras32 not a fan of tobacco fragrances, tried cedrat boise and instant crush in a department store, they dont do the thing for me :)
Do you think lemon mint smells like sun screen? I’m considering buying it
@@calebbrown5518 it doesn't smell like sun screen to me
I purchased Mancera Red Tobacco & Intense Cedrat Boise this morning. The sample bottles I previously purchased had me hooked!
Is red tobacco good in projection? Just bought red tobacco and the projection is so bad
@@BoulevardX They say projection and longevity with Red Tobacco is above-average but I'd say its a beast.
@@Vitamin-Q may I ask what your batch code is (under the bottle) because I recently Bought it and the projection is not good ..
I ordered online direct from Mancera and they should be arriving any day now. The card samples I previously purchased don't seem to have a batch listed. I'll update you with the batch number when they arrive.

I actually like wild rose aoud but fragrance is different for everyone. I also like amber and roses. Very natural smelling rose scent
Im so confused, every site i go to says it is a womens fragrance, but every review says it's for men. Can you recommend it for men?
VETIVER SENSUEL is also very good
Are we getting update with this video. part 2 maybe?
Hii Omar, i was wondering if you still think about Kumkut wood, is it still the best from range?
KUMCAT WOOD is awful! Its a sharp, piercing wood smell
It smells like the lumber isle at LOWES. If you want to smell identical to fresh cut wood at a construction site then buy KUMCAT WOOD.
@@tumarbongrox6074 Ho Tumar, what is your favorite?
Holy cow, extremely useful and informative vid. Thank you! Montale next please!
Red tobacco is a beast mode fragrance.
You gave mancera royal vanilla that score really? Smell like intense cafe and every other vanilla heavy mancera fragrance. Stop it
Red Tobacco was reformulated recently. The juice is now pale yellow compared to dark amber of the original. The scent and performance is weaker too.
damn I know they would mess it up
I am 100% agree with your thoughts.
@Sal Is there one particular fresh Mancera scent, that stands out as your Summer go to?
@@oldiesgeek454 CB intense is their masterpiece in that regard, Sicily and Lemon Line, soleil d'itali are good but don't have the some roundness as CB if that makes sense, but they're all good freshies... Aoud Lemon Mint and Aqua Wood are more comforting all rounders than "fresh" because they dry down woody and sweet I'd say
@@ASalv188 Great, thanks for filling me in. 😊 👍
I agree with you as well some he doesn’t like have been great compliment magnet 🧲🔥🔥🔥🔥. So it just goes to show how different taste can be. I absolutely Hindu Kush, Aoud Blue Notes, Aqua Wood 🤦🏽.
Your comments on crazy for oud please..
Awesome video Omar. Ordered 3 samples from you recomendations (wish you could get a cut. ) Excited to get your fragrance in November.
Great video! Much appreciated
WE NEED A VID LIKE THIS FOR MONTALE
Coco vanille was not about choclate, its aboit thd coconut.
You are quite passionate in your reflections about fragrances. I watched many of your posts, thank you sincerely! Best regards from Paris France 👍 Razvan
MONTALEEEEEE
Oud accord means there is no Oud in any of Mancera and Montale frags. These two houses are 99% synthetic. I still like a few. But not anywhere near my favorites of my collection.
Precious Oud 10/9
Crazy for Oud 10/5
What? This fragrance petty similar!
CRAZY FOR OUD is better!
