LMS Class 5XP ‘Jubilee’ 45690 ‘Leander’ hauling ‘The Coast To Coast Express’ Romiley 16/09/2023

I headed to Romiley station this morning to see LMS Class 5XP ‘Jubilee’ 45690 ‘Leander’ hauling thee 1Z63 0620 Liverpool Lime Street to Scarborough ‘The coast to coast express’.
I haven’t seen ‘Leander’ since 2021 when she last came through Romiley station so it was lovely to see her again.
This video (though a day early) is dedicated to my late Grandad Terry who passed away on the 17th of September 2021. Though not a railway enthusiast Grandad would encourage me in my hobby and would always enjoy seeing me so happy.

Thanks Jamie as always for your kind comments on this video, indeed I haven’t seen 45690 since 2021 so it’s been great to see her again come through. Of course this video is dedicated to my grandad who’s 2 year anniversary is coming up tomorrow so this is a nice little to tribute to him.

Nice one Joe.Sorry I couldn't make it especially as it stopped in the station to give you a chance for a top class video.Only suprise was the lack of "bodies"there.Perhaps they were all still in bed like I was!!!!See you soon hopefully.

No worries Paul it was ashame you missed her. She was picking up a member of crew before proceeding forward to Scarborough. As for bodies most people were probably at Man Victoria or Guide Bridge where she stopped for water.
