Indeed she is Anthony and whilst I’ve always had a soft spot for castles Pendennis has become my personal favourite alongside the Great Bear rebuilt 111 ‘Viscount Churchill’ and Defiant even though Pendennis is the only castle locomotive I’ve seen. I have seen both her predecessors 4003 ‘Lode Star’ and 2999 ‘Lady of Legend’

@@thetrainspotters502 nice! She’s great - I’m a member at the Didcot Railway Centre where she usually resides when not out on loan at other railways. One of my prized possessions is a chunk off of one of her old boiler rings. She’s a fantastic locomotive and I’m glad she’s been able to get around to give as many people as possible the chance to ride behind her.

I’m actually not the biggest fan of them, whilst their interiors are bright and modern their seating isn’t that comfortable but they do their job though I’ll personally prefer 150’s

@@thetrainspotters502 I don’t actually find them that uncomfortable even for longer journeys - I did Leeds to Preston on one and found them comfortable enough and very smooth. This said, I do love Sprinters too!
