I have chuckle every time you mention snow in El Paso. In 1974 we were in El Paso at Fort Bliss. It was our first Christmas as newlyweds and away from home and family. We got 6 inches of snow on Christmas Day. It warmed this Wisconsin girl’s heart. Fort Bliss had the only snow plow in town. People just got in their cars and went out and had accidents.
Molly, we used to live in Salado, Tx. I worked for a home decor shop called Horse Feathers, and you sound just like the owner Diana. She was such a lovely person. I am so happy I found your blog!
Colour and Cotton opened a brick and mortar store last October in St. Louis, Missouri! I have not been able to go to it yet but I understand it is a very nice store. They are open a few days a week and dye fabric & floss the other days! I like your plans for January and February Molly! You have some very cute patterns! Kathy, love the red plaid items you showed! So cute! It is very cold in Missouri right now but next week it is supposed to warm up a little! The temperatures in El Paso sound wonderful right now! Happy stitching!
I truly enjoyed your floss tube today. You ladies are so much fun. Molly I sure do believe in God and miracles. I had severe COID that damaged my lungs so badly that I was given 3 weeks to live. Luckily, there was a sweet donor that gave me 2 new lungs and I got that transplant in June 2022. I’m alive and doing well thanks to this special Angel. I will happily pray for your dear friend as so many people that I know and so many that I didn’t know prayed for me. I am a walking miracle. Keep the faith. God works in mysterious ways.

Always fun to see what you both are stitching on. Molly I had gallbladder surgery for Christmas too! However I managed to get home by Christmas Eve, I spent 3 days in the hospital waiting to get into surgery because there were so many staffing issues with the hospital. I will certainly say a prayer for your friend, take care and enjoy the stitching!
Sorry about your surgery Molly. Glad you are doing better. The problem at Buffalo with clearing the stadium is there was no place to put the snow! There was so much of it!! Prayers for your friend with cancer. ♥️

On the Bells piece, I would use a matching piece of quilters cotton laced to the board. Then lace the beautiful stitched piece on top. Your design will pop nicely.

The turquoise in your sampler, Kathy, looks right. I bought a house built in 1850 a few years back, and when I was renovating the stairwell, I found the original wallpaper had been papered over. It was beautiful large turquoise roses in dark blue vases. It was just stunning. Being a Southwest girl, I loved that wallpaper. I wish I had pics to send you. But, it was a true turquoise. Who knew! In a house in Indiana in 1850. ❤ I'm so glad that you are both well and happily stitching. Molly, I'm doing 24 starts and 24 ffos this year. I've never tried it, but I want to do ornaments and smalls. I wish you both much good health and happiness in the coming year. ❤❤

Colour and Cottons opened their store in St. Louis, MO last May. I live 30 minutes from their store and go there for stitch days. She has them once a month . There is a day time and an evening one. Her floss and fabric clubs are full and so is her wait list. I should have stayed in the floss club when I was in it and before she became so popular. LOL

Thanks for another great video, ladies. I love all the beautiful projects. More than 20 years ago my brother-in-law was rushed to the hospital for his gallbladder. When they went in to remove it, gangrene had set in. He almost lost his life. He was in the hospital for several weeks and off work for a couple of months as I recall. Sending prayers for all dealing with cancer, their caregivers, and families.
Beautiful, great visit. I am stitching Ellis Holiday currently. I am planning to stitch the other Flight samplers. I hope to stitch the GiGi blue donkey one also. Happy Stitchig❤
Happy New Year! I just tried a new way (to me) to use the Whisper floss in Santa’s beard in Theresa Koguts, Olde St. Nick. Stitched with white DMC for the first leg of the X and then went back with the Whisper floss on the second leg. Stitched on 18 Aida.

Molly, my brother was diagnosed with cancer in August 2022 and the Lord took him home in January 2023, a year ago this month. Know that I, as I trust many, will lift prayers for your dear friend. Our Lord Jesus does remarkable things in the midst of suffering. May He bring glory to His Name as He draws people to your friend. May every caregiver (nurse, physician, technician, etc) who comes in contact with this person see the love of Christ Jesus in his/her demeanor. Father, You guide our steps and number our days. Grant Your unusual peace and grace as You care for Molly’s dear friend, and Father, provide Molly with the abundance of Your Spirit as she seeks to honor You and her friend during the journey ahead. We agree with Your will, Father, but what we want is that this friend received healing. Yet, Father, Thy will be done. In the Power and Name of Jesus, I ask these things.

Molly, my brother was diagnosed with cancer in August 2022 and the Lord took him home in January 2023, a year ago this month. Know that I, as I trust many, will lift prayers for your dear friend. Our Lord Jesus does remarkable things in the midst of suffering. May He bring glory to His Name as He draws people to your friend. May every caregiver (nurse, physician, technician, etc) who comes in contact with this person see the love of Christ Jesus in his/her demeanor. Father, You guide our steps and number our days. Grant Your unusual peace and grace as You care for Molly’s dear friend, and Father, provide Molly with the abundance of Your Spirit as she seeks to honor You and her friend during the journey ahead. We agree with Your will, Father, but what we want is that this friend received healing. Yet, Father, Thy will be done. In the Power and Name of Jesus, I ask these things.

Fun video great stitching. We were 3 degrees this morning power out here where l live in Utah power back on now for most of us.Thank God for the guys that had to be out in that cold climbing poles!and fixing. That could not be any fun! Take care and Enjoy💚

Hi Molly! I saw the flosstube you asked about using the Noel floss. I’m not sure who it was, but the stitching was the plaid area on the bottom of the Tree stitch my Liz Mathews for the Jingle Ball.
