I see a Nurse Practitioner as my primary health provider after seeing 2 different doctors, I am so happy with her as I find she is willing to spend more time listening to to me - really listening. If there is something she does not know, she will admit it and find out about it. I will be 80 in December and I have never been more happy with a health provider than now. I truly hope you will find the same. Praying for you. 🙏💜💜💜
Congratulations. Remember that it is not a diet but a life style change. I too am a diabetic, was hospitalized, and was over 300 pounds. No sugar, no starch, no eating out, high protein and a lot of salads is my life. I walk rain, snow and shine, no less than one mile every day. I have lost 122 pds and am almost off my diabetes meds. It is tough as you are relearning to eat and for me that meant learning to cook and having to shop differently and learning to read labels. Please be patient, it takes time (took me three years) but you will get there. You got this dear, just keep doing what you are doing.
I wouldn't change from my Nurse Practitioner back to a doctor. She listens to me and my concerns and we come to win-win conclusions. Sending positive energy to you and your ARNP.
Congrats on getting your sugars under control. Its a struggling for sure. I was diagnosed 7 years ago and have been slowly and surely winning the fight. Its encouraging seeing others also going through this too. I started at 546lbs and am now down to 312 lbs watching my sugars and what I eat and drink and lots of water aerobics. Its hard work and it isnt something that would necessarily work for the next person and Im glad you said to talk to a doctor or medical profesional. My sugars are also under control now with metformin and Trulicity but Im afraid that if I get off the meds that my blood sugars would go up. Anyway. You're not alone and You're an inspiration. Keep up the good work.
Do you have any side effects from the Metformin like diarrhea or upset tummy, I was told this by my old doctor that’s why I decided to not go on medications, I have had diabetes type 2 for 11 years, it is hard to live with for me, I get nervous if I get a low do you feel that way?
Fellow diabetic here. It’s a daily struggle. Proud of you! Keep it up! By the way, I need your beautiful top in my life! My sons are 27 & 26, they continuously encourage me to make healthy choices. Yup, us Mama’s do for our kids. Even when it’s hard!
Love the colors on that scarf! Beautiful. Looks like a Monet watercolor. What would a shawl look like in those scrap yarn pieces! I wish you complete healing, peace and little miracles along the way to your healing. All good things take time. Yes, it can be frustrating! Darn! Your victory is around the corner. God will carry you through this.
Your story behind the washcloth is sweet. Handmade cloths are the best. We are farmers and the cloths are well used and get really dirty but wash up beatifully. I admire you, I am 61 and still struggle with accepting, never mind loving, my body.
I have severe arthritis, Sarcoidosis, two heart issues (tachycardia makes it almost impossible to exercise), as well as possible RA.. I need to loose weight. It’s such a trial when I can’t go for a walk or any other exercise. Thank goodness for crochet to keep me busy with a productive task! Cudos to you Jen on embracing a healthy life.
Hats off for making some awesome health changes for yourself! I too have been diagnosed with type2 diabetes. It has been about 10 years and I personally feel awful about it. My blood work has been controlled with medication and still have trouble losing weight and eating properly. However, plenty of protein and vegetables do make me feel better. Thank you for sharing. I enjoy crocheting wash cloths and dishrags. They are fast and fun. Be Well
Hi Jennifer, you have done so amazing. I'm am much older and an insulin dependent diabetic.. I need to do better. I also have other health issues - so glad at your young age you are taking your health so seriously. As far as the weight mark it happens where you get stuck a little bit.. I was over 200. And so wanted to be under that mark .. I was not strict like you have been and didn't want to put a 40 or 50 pound goal on myself because would be discouraging. So set 10 pound goals, took a long time but made to 198. Then set my goal to be in 180's made that and finally about 177. Now about 180 to 182. But will get back in 170's I believe. Dear God, thank you for Jennifer.. thank for helping her have the strength and will power she is having. Continue to help her body heal, to help relieve some stress, and give her grace with your ultimate physician hands. In Jesus name I pray. Amen Our God is good all the time!!!
I know how you feel I lost a 100 pounds eating off of a small plate but the thing I want to tell you from my own personal experience and as a nurse is that your body has to have time to adjust to the weight loss as does your mind. You will reach plateaus and then resume weight loss. You may change up what you are eating or start eating lunch to increase your metabolism. I am so proud of you and you are beautiful. Celebrate the whole month of August and I am sure you will drop below your goal. Also another form of dress reduction would be great. The Calm App is good. Don’t dress yourself over videos for us, we will watch when ever you post. You’ve got this. I still have 50 pounds to lose so I am working on my own goal as well! We can do this even if it takes a while it is one giant leap to better health and there will be days we gain weight, don’t meet our goals, when we get mad, sad, get aggravated and cry and that is ok! Crying is a wonderful stress reliever! 😀♥️😀♥️. 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉Celebrate your success with 5 skeins of your most wanted favorite expensive yarn and make your self a gorgeous form fitting sexy top! Sisterly or motherly love to you. ♥️❤️♥️❤️💕💕💕💕🎈🎈🎈
I am 61 years old, this month. I went in my first diet at 10. So, I have been dieting for over 50 years with no success. While I have still dodged the D bullet, I feel your pain. This is hard! I sincerely wish success for you, in all your endeavors, but especially your health journey.
Wow! You're doing an awesome job looking after your health & adjusting your diet to fit your body's needs, Jennifer! What you mentioned is very similar to my gut issues! After a lifetime of gut issues, I finally worked out with my nutritionist/naturopath that my body can't tolerate gluten, then we discovered that cutting out dairy helped me even more, then cutting out corn helped & now I also try to reduce sugar, soy & artificial additives. That's all made a massive difference to my gut health & how I feel. Like you said, it's expensive though! We've learned a ton of strategies to reduce the costs as my sons have learned that my diet helps them too. Great job designing your hand towels without buttons! I hope & pray your appointment goes well with further benefits for your future best self! 🥰Blessings from South Australia💕🐨
Congrats! On doing such a great job with your sugars. I still cry with my diabetes, it is damn hard. The cravings is hard for me, and when you go out for dinner there’s not much on the menu for diabetics that tastes good. They say you go through a grief after diagnosis. My husband has now to. So it’s double hard. Us diabetics will stick together, giving you big big hugs your a soldier. Sandy in Canada B.C.
Hi Jen, I’m binge watching your older videos. But had to comment and say I LOVE your self-care philosophy. The washcloths are beautiful, so many colors and they made me happy seeing and hearing about them.
So proud of you for getting your health in order, I believe that two of the hardest things in life to do is to quit smoking, and follow a specific diet or eating lifestyle change. You are fighting and winning.
You are so special. Thank you for the good, long laugh about the washcloths. I completely understand about your husband’s love of grabbing nice hand worked items. My husband is the same. Sending God’s blessings to you.
I am glad to hear you are doing so much better. Good for you. I know its not easy and getting off your meds. You did great. I am 80, I have to work on my bucket garden I can put on a wet towel while I am out there and it sure does help. I don't stay in the heat long. God Bless you and so happy for you to help you live.
My cholesterol and triglycerides were high. My triglycerides were sitting at 383. With hard work and a bit of medication and a change of diet I’ve gotten it down to 127. My cholesterol is still mid high but, coming down. So, I am on a lean eating plan. Not a diet. Congrats for the things you are accomplishing and the hard hard work.
Beautiful riot of colours. Love your dress and think it's a great choice in your hot and humid weather. The Koigu scarf is gorgeous. Who would have thought scrap bits and bobs could be made into some thing so gorgeous and unique. There will never one like it. Not to go deeply in to your health you already know how much I love you and that I send that love and my wishes for good health all the time. Thank goodness for bathtubs. Lots of people use them as their go to space. My wet room shower is not quite as good, but I sometimes just sit on the seat and let the water cascade over me. That is quite therapeutic. Hope all goes well at doctors. Love always. ❤ Lynne xxx
You have done a fantastic job!🤗 It is extremely hard to not be able to have the food you want. 🥴 I know this first hand. I like your sundress🥰 Your right, if it makes you happy then do it. Your not hurting anyone by making washcloths for yourself and like you said, pamper yourself. It's like a trip to the spa but, your at home 🤗 Wishing you a wonderful, beautiful blessed day/night!🙏🏻💞🤗
When I first saw you tonight I thought , wow!! , what beautiful colors you’re wearing. When you stood up to get the yarn I thought Wowza!! You look sooooooo good in that dress.
I have found that Atkins meals help me a lot. Also watching diabetes md on you tube. I’m diabetic 2 and doing everything I can to reverse it. No more than 70 carbs a day, no more than 3 grams sugar, and exercise before and after eating. I take vitamins and Glucocil which helps absorbs sugars and carbs. I stay away from white foods (rice, mashed potatoes, breads etc). I have lost 70 lbs since November last year. I can only walk some so I like walking in a pool which is much less painful for me. You can do it. I write notes to my self of encouragement to keep myself moving forward. Prayer help and thanking God for my progress and success moving forward.
I make the washcloths for my 3 grandsons, their mother, and my granddaughter. Sometimes for myself. My daughter and I use them also for dishclothes. Yes I could buy them, but they do not last as long as my crochet or knit dishclothes. Might try making a dish towel for my kitchen or some to hang in the bathroom. Thank you for sharing. Jen you are doing absolutely great with getting your health and blood sugar under control . Just keep on praying and eating what your body can handle. You will feel so much better. By the way you are looking healthier and you don't look as tired as you did. You can do this and your viewers are pulling and praying for you.🙏❤️👍🧶
Hi Jen, I get it. I have 2 years diagnosed with diabetes. I did what I needed and got my number down to 5.9 pre-diabetic. It's still a journey to get where I wanna be. I pray that your numbers are good and that you find a good doctor 🙏 😘
I totally understand the husband and hand towels. It triggers my ocd bad. I hope you get great news today. The work you've done, to get healthier is amazing. Pat your self in the back you deserve it. Always praying for you and your family.❤
Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. I like my nurse practitioner. I understand your struggle I was diagnosed over 35 years ago and you’ve got this Jennifer❤❤❤
I can relate to your health struggle because your story is almost identical to mine. I also find that eating lower carb is the only thing that works for me. I lost a lot of weight eating that way 20 years ago but fell back into old habits and am at my highest weight now. I thank you for being so open about your battle. It has given me much encouragement to regain control of my eating habits so that I can regain control over my health. Thank you so much. Keep going… you WILL do it. And I will be watching your videos when you do.
Lovely inspirational video Jennifer and telling us about your life and health. No more than myself dealing with health issues you are a brave warrior woman. Will be following you. I love your dress too. Sending blessings from Mary xx in Ireland
I was just given a Type 2 diabetes which I refuse to accept 😢. I also refuse to take Metformin. I have to rethink my eating habits. I'm not a huge sweet connoisseur. I can understand what you're going through. Listening to you, you're more disciplined than me. I love cotton yarn. I like crocheting a lot of home decor, easy wearables and other easy small projects. Keep thinking positive as I keep telling myself. Love your channel. It's HOT here in North Florida!!!!
I just found your channel as I was having trouble finding plus-size pattern tutorials. After watching this video, I am so grateful for your down to earth attitude and honesty! I am praying for your health issues! I'm looking forward to making some clothing that actually fits me now!
Knit wash cloths are WAY better than crochet... I crochet myself wash cloths and they're fine, but I have a girlfriend who occasionally throws a knit one my way... I treasure those knit cloths. Even made with the EXACT yarn, the knit are so much softer, etc. I can't wait for the next one to fly over the fence!!!
I'll pray for you Jen and I could use some prayers too for some health issues right now. I had to get a CT scan and now a MRI. I make washcloths too and I love them. I can make any colors that I love and even give them away as gifts and everyone loves them.
I use cotton yarn to make washcloth-sized pattern swatches as I'm working my way thru a knitting stitch dictionary. The pressure to make an afghan with all those swatches would just turn me right off. Much happier to have a stack of poorly knitted washcloths to use 🙂 I've been crocheting since I was old enough to hold a pencil ( * I pencil grip my hooks), as my grandma taught us girls to crochet when she was babysitting, as a way to save her sanity, LoL Basically, my summer vacations were sitting on my grandma's 'davenport' watching Ryan's Hope, All My Children & General Hospital & crocheting. ❤
You could always crochet the loop at the top of your knitted towels. Use the skill that gets the job done best. I was taught knitting as a kid and learned crochet on my own as a teenager using books from the 70’s because it was the 70’s.
I've been lurking and not commenting but I just wanted to say you should be really proud of yourself for getting your A!C and weight down. Those are both tremendous accomplishments!
I’m so happy for you on diabetic adventure. Hoping and praying. Everything goes OK at the doctor today and you get good news. I love my knitted washcloths. That’s what I use. Thanks for sharing. Have a good evening.❤❤❤
Hi Jennifer! I'm seeing this 5 months after you posted because I'm a new subscriber who is binge watching your videos and getting to know you. 😊. I hope you're doing well. Thank you for sharing your health journey because it makes me feel less alone. Getting these diagnoses and essentially a life-sentence is deeply disturbing. It will definitely make you look at your priorities. I hope things have continued to get better for you. On a lighter note, I was thinking about your viewer who asked about the wash cloths - we can also go to Walmart and buy a sweater for $15 but instead we spend $30 on yarn and spend hours making it ourselves. Like you said, it's part of self-care and loving ourselves and those around us. I'm so glad you have bath time because we all need to decompress. You've been through a lot and I pray it makes you a stronger person and you're definitely blessing your audience with your vulnerability. Love to you from your yarnie friend in North Carolina. ❤️
Same thing here girl!!! My BS is starting to stabilize but my fasting am when I get up can be up if I am stressed. I am 61 in post menopause. Hang in there - we can do this!! ❤❤
Girl, I totally understand! My solace is my back porch, coffee and crocheting! If I don’t get to do at least one of them or all three of them daily, I am just not a nice person! 😂
Oh girl I got you! I was diagnosed 4 years ago. It is such a struggle and it never stops. I was put on insulin about 4 months ago because I wasn’t taking care of myself. I learned my lesson and I’m on the right track again. Praying for you. Don’t let it steal your joy ❤
All I can say is that you are amazing and awesome. Wishing you only good things. Prayers for your continued healing and grace on your health journey. If you don't mind added my mom to your prayers I would be my re than grateful. On May 12th my mom woke up unable to stand. She had been sick with what she thought was a stomach bug. She was taken to the local ER and with in hours lost the ability to move her feet, legs, and was starting to loose the use of her arms and hands. By the following day she could only move her head. My brother figured out that she had a rate condition known as GBS (Guillain-Barre syndrome). Later that day she had to be intubated input on a ventilator. Now, nearly 3 months later she is still on a ventilator but she has regained head movements, she can open her eyes, and can shrug her shoulders. I know that doesn't sound like much, but after being locked into a body that would not even allow her to open her own eyes for nearly 2 months. Please pray that she can recover and that she will get the best possible care. We just had her moved the a long term care facility that helps GBS patients on their long road to recovery.
You got a lot done besides all the filming WOW! I love the wash cloths ;) I was making kitty cats and looking at my cotton stash thinking I need washcloths too LOL Much love and many prayers that your doctor appointment goes well. I don't have a primary doctor, I didn't go to the doctor for 18 years and last year I needed to (high blood pressure from stress) When I went in I saw a nurse practitioner and absolutely love her. She is my doctor and she takes very good care of me. My experience with doctors is that they think they know everything about everybody. They don't listen and because of that they don't help you. You know if something is not right with your body, you may not know what it is but you know what is not normal for you. Nurses listen and they learn and the good doctors listen to them. Most don't. Hope you have a wonderful day what ever happens.
I had an older Doctor once and he was steady writing in his notebook and asking me questions. Never once looked up at me. I told him I thought my left testicle was twisted and might fall off. He said, "OK, anything else? " I just rolled my eyes....I have ovaries dude! Can you actually listen? Rofl. They never listen.
I’m also diabetic and do low carb no sugar. No white stuff. Flour sugar. Rice. I wear a Dexcom. I’m brittle. As a nurse with a minor in nutrition I’ve been able to figure out my diet. If you need any help hit me up. I still have to use long acting insulin and a glp1 but I’m doing better. It did cause a significant weight loss and now I’m too thin but I’m working on it. I just love your honesty and your spicy personality. You rock girl.
I understand the frustration of losing weight. I have found on my journey that when I start to roller coaster I am not eating enough. Sounds strange I know! So just a thought. And I get being down but girl be proud of how far you’ve come. You’ve got this!!
The wash clothes are so pretty, that is your treat and self care hide them so Mr Cinnamon doesn’t find them! I worry about my health to, and wish for an understanding doctor the new one isn’t for me. I had to wait for a doctor to mine retired. I am sending positive thoughts your way.
Self love and self care is so important, and we don’t treat ourselves enough. I love how you ask us a question like we are going to answer you, it makes me laugh. Much love and health prayers. 🙏🏼🙏🏼♥️♥️
Please don't beat yourself up. You have just found out and started working on the T2 diabetes since January. This health issue has been building for a bit. You have made positive health changes have started having success and will continue to have success. There will be plateaus and they aren't fun. Sometimes you need to change things up with these plateaus. You mentioned you weren't eating lots, might be time to check your calorie intake to be sure it isn't too low. Congratulations on your success and the best for your health future.
Make sure you give an update! Anxious to hear how it went! It took me 10 years to put together a team to address all my fun “issues”. Your team is important and makes all the difference! Do not be afraid to ask questions! They aren’t gods, you know. Just educated in their field!
We eat much the same and surprisingly it is easier here in South Africa than in the US. The last time we were in the US (furlough), it seemed that everything has either wheat or sugar/high-fructose corn syrup! But the effort to avoid those things is worth it. I'm glad you are doing so well! Way to go!
Jennifer, thank you for sharing your journey. Be strong. You have a beautiful family and a good heart. Keep on your path for a healthier life. Thank you for sharing your yarn journey! Handmade washcloths are worth every stitch!!!! Have a wonderful week! Looking forward to PYOW!!!!
Love your videos... Thank you for sharing your experience & journey with us, you are an inspiration & amazing lady... love all your yarn ideas... Awesome job on the health... I think as we get older we do start to realize we do need to be there for our family for as long as we can... I'm on that diabetic rollercoaster too & yes it is hard but nothing is easy when it comes to health... We try & try till we get it right for ourselves, everyone is different & you are doing an amazing job, & you are an excellent mother... Hope all went well with your Dr. Appointment...💖🥰
That is good news on your health long may it continue to be that way. I too have lost weight by just eating meals and no snacks only eating snacks once week and feel so much better but do miss my sweet snack every day but won't have any but once a week. Love the wash cloths. I spend on craft items but only from the charity shops that makes me happy so i know what you mean about the wash cloths.
If you want "stiffer" knit towels, go down a needle size or 3. 😉 You could knit an I-cord for the "holder", easy peasy. I find knitting I-cord relaxing....I know, weird! 😂🤣😂 I'm one of those that won't buy paper towels, I think they're a waste, it probably takes me a year+ to go through a roll....I buy the big packs of white wash cloths (at Costco) & use them for EVERYTHING, cleaning messes, napkins, pot holders, etc... I have a basket in the garage (where my washer is) & just toss them in there....if they get stains, no big deal! They're washable!! 🤣😂🤣 Yeah, I freak out if someone uses "the good towels" for dirt. Yes, I have those too. 😉
I’m pre-diabetic and don’t know how to eat to get my numbers to get in the good zone. I’m allergic to nuts and eggs and dairy. I need to get off my lazy butt and Google it to find out how I should be eating. But today I am going in for surgery on my elbow that I broke two months ago that the hospital didn’t discover was broken And I found out after the fact that it was severely broken and they should’ve done surgery within 3 to 5 days of the accident. So, I’m having the surgery two months later. I feel like once I get that behind me I can start on my diet. I just love watching and listening to you, you bring me such happiness when you. Get silly! I fill really sad for you when I hear about your hard times, but this all makes you, you! And I love you! I need to get up and start picking up my house because my sister n law is bringing me home Tuesday from the hospital. I sure hope you get good news today from your PA!
Oh you should be super proud of yourself!! Congratulations on your weight loss accomplishments!! I am currently seeking the sleeve surgery because of other health related issues that will be cured by having that surgery. However, my doctor has me on a meal plan as if I were loosing weigh to have the surgery. My nutritionist said that I need to eat every 3 to4 hours so my metabolism will remain active. So, I basically have high protein snacks all t hroughout the day and I don't really eat a meal so to speak. In 2 months I've dropped 20 pound and I am praying hard that my A1Cs will reflect the hard work next month. I was told it takes 3 months for your A1Cs to reflect your sugar levels going up or down or something like that. I honestly don't remember what they said about that Anyway, Congratulations!! I know your health journey has been hard work and it shows!! I absolutely love your hand towels. Such a neat idea! Oh I miss Scrubit from Mary Maxim! I enjoyed crocheting with it way more than RH Scrubby. Be blessed!
You are on a strict keto diet. That's what I had to do after COVID. It's a game changer to look up the veg and berries and nuts that give nutrition for when you are on the road. Good job! It's hard work, I know.
Hi Jennifer, you have loads going on! With school returns and college ect. You have even more going on with your health. Praying for you! Stay strong. ! Inner strength gets us through most things. You are trying regarding your health. Doing what you can yourself. Be proud of yourself!. I think you are doing amazing!. Luv mandy united Kingdom 🇬🇧 xxx😊
Sending lots of prayers for you! You’re doing great! Continue taking care of yourself and I know everything will be fine. Also sending lots of love and hugs! ❤❤❤
Jenn remember where you started and pat your back for your great work. I’m diabetic too and you have to eat. If you don’t want lunch that’s ok but do snacks. I’m so proud of you. In the summer I hold more water so you may also and stress doesn’t help. Just know we’re so proud of you.
I see a Nurse Practitioner as my primary health provider after seeing 2 different doctors, I am so happy with her as I find she is willing to spend more time listening to to me - really listening. I LOVE the way you knit. I learned to knit BUT to watch you knit is amazing to me. It is very cool to watch you knit
I like your sundress🥰
Your right, if it makes you happy then do it. Your not hurting anyone by making washcloths for yourself and like you said, pamper yourself. It's like a trip to the spa but, your at home 🤗
Wishing you a wonderful, beautiful blessed day/night!🙏🏻💞🤗
You are deeply loved by this community, me too! Keep up the good fight.
Jennifer, best wishes on your health journey - I hope that you get encouragement and good news at your doctor's appointment today
You inspire me in many ways! And.... love your handmade wash clothes and hand towels.
Lovely inspirational video Jennifer and telling us about your life and health. No more than myself dealing with health issues you are a brave warrior woman. Will be following you. I love your dress too. Sending blessings from Mary xx in Ireland
Dear Jennifer. God Bless You. I pray for you to be healthy and off life threatening drugs.
Im so glad you found me.
Love the washcloths so much and the colors. ❤🙏🙏🙏
The earlier school starts, the more money there is! So glad I always started the first Monday after Labor Day.
❤❤❤❤ Congrats on taking your health seriously and doing something positive about it. Prayers are with you - luv you!!
Congratulations on your health progress.
Prayers for a great health report 🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻
Same thing here girl!!!
My BS is starting to stabilize but my fasting am when I get up can be up if I am stressed.
I am 61 in post menopause.
Hang in there - we can do this!! ❤❤
Good luck at the doctors. Love your dress. Looks good on you.. I love my home made dish towels and scrubbies.
Love the loop on the towels ,you are so smart and talented thank you so much !
Girl, I totally understand! My solace is my back porch, coffee and crocheting! If I don’t get to do at least one of them or all three of them daily, I am just not a nice person! 😂
Love your knitted hand towel. And I like your knitted scarf on the machine.
it is a struggle but when you see your blood sugar go down it is worth it, for our health, you are in my prayers
Day by day sounds like you are doing so well, stay positive good luck with your doctors appointment , you have got this have a wonderful week 🙏
Prayers and good vibes sent your way!🙏💕🧶
Jennifer, you have been working very hard and it shows. Congratulations 🎊🍾
I love your Muana dress. It looks good on you and the colors are so fun. Looks cool and comfy
You have made a work of ART, it's so beautiful. ( scarf) 😊😊😊❤❤
Congratulations on your hard work is paying off.
Happy positive thoughts at your Doctors today. ✝️
Praying for you of course!!! You will be blessed and your health is only getting better. Much love!! ❤❤❤
Good morning Jennifer i found through past experience that a Nurse Practitioner is 5 times better than the doctor. Good luck with your appointment.
I'm praying for you and you got this ❤❤I hope you have a great time at pink ,happy birthday Jennifer
I understand the frustration of losing weight. I have found on my journey that when I start to roller coaster I am not eating enough. Sounds strange I know! So just a thought. And I get being down but girl be proud of how far you’ve come. You’ve got this!!
I will most definitely keep you in my prayers hun. 🙏🏻💛
The wash clothes are so pretty, that is your treat and self care hide them so Mr Cinnamon doesn’t find them! I worry about my health to, and wish for an understanding doctor the new one isn’t for me. I had to wait for a doctor to mine retired. I am sending positive thoughts your way.
So proud of you, I'm type 2 and was diagnosed 3 yrs ago, it's a hard, hard battle everyday. Great job on the focus on you.
Woohoo ! Great job Jennifer
Make sure you give an update! Anxious to hear how it went! It took me 10 years to put together a team to address all my fun “issues”. Your team is important and makes all the difference! Do not be afraid to ask questions! They aren’t gods, you know. Just educated in their field!
Congratulations on all your good stuff!
I love your happy
Planner
I love you Suga......and I definitely understand the weight thing. And the. Health thing. I am so proud of you!❤❤❤❤
That is good news on your health long may it continue to be that way. I too have lost weight by just eating meals and no snacks only eating snacks once week and feel so much better but do miss my sweet snack every day but won't have any but once a week. Love the wash cloths. I spend on craft items but only from the charity shops that makes me happy so i know what you mean about the wash cloths.
Take care things will workout.❤
If you want "stiffer" knit towels, go down a needle size or 3. 😉
You could knit an I-cord for the "holder", easy peasy.
I find knitting I-cord relaxing....I know, weird! 😂🤣😂
I'm one of those that won't buy paper towels, I think they're a waste, it probably takes me a year+ to go through a roll....I buy the big packs of white wash cloths (at Costco) & use them for EVERYTHING, cleaning messes, napkins, pot holders, etc...
I have a basket in the garage (where my washer is) & just toss them in there....if they get stains, no big deal!
They're washable!! 🤣😂🤣
Yeah, I freak out if someone uses "the good towels" for dirt.
They are also great size to practice a new stitch. And use up small balls of cotton yarn. 😊
I’ve. been a seamstress all of my life, and have come to know, that EVERY BODY is different ! You are who you are 💞
Prayers have been lifted up for you and your reports today. 🙏 Love to you Jenn ❤
Congratulations on your weight loss and everything
I absolutely love your scarf! Good job!
Sending prayers for you ❤
