    Good video. I repaired a Mitsubishi City Multi 2 years ago. Bad thermistor, lol. I lucked out.

    Grab the pink appion core tools, they're designed for mini split connections.

    Good video!😎 I took this tip from Steve Lav, he said that when he pulls a vacuum he puts nylog on his port fittings to help prevent hose leaks. Thought it was a good tip.

      i do that too. use it all the time. keeps the seals lubed so you dont have to crank down on those seals and tear them.

      +HVAC/R Junky I nylon on vacuum as well. I also nylon my flares when I assemble them.

    Whenever I open a mini split like that, I check all the flares. Have found a bunch of bad ones.

      thanks for the comment. i checked the 4 fkares at the unit to make sure they are tight. there was no sign on oil on the piping or flare area.
