I kept my clock spring with the 165H kit. Works like a charm. But placing the horn wire in a good position is a little annoying. I might set crimp another wire to it, to give it more wire to play with. Lol after installing my new wheel, during my first turn, I could hear the wire being pulled around and sure enough, my horn stopped working 😅.
But it is nice to see someone use the 165H kit for the install. Good video and good explanation of the process!

I’m in the same boat, wire keeps coming loose and disconnecting the horn. Still can’t figure out a solution

What I did for my car is I got a big ring terminal so that. There's no wire that add to it will make it long enough to go through the ring terminal and then I use a screw that I screwed into the side of plastic next to the steering column and I use extra hard wire so it's able to touch the back of the hub without worrying about the wire curling when you turn the wheel

Brother, you got your hopes up about the problem with the traction control light off. I also put a steering wheel on it and now the light doesn't turn off.

That light is for the clock spring not traction control. Unless you retain your factory clock spring that light will not go away this is just for airbag light to be disabled

I want to know what hole does use for the airbags I try using the holes on bottom but they slide out too easy and if you put the holes on top they are tighter but for some reason my airbag light is on maybe I have to switch to the hole in the bottom again

@@thesuburbanGenny I'm pretty sure I have it right my airbag light was already on because I was told I had a bad clock spring but it is no longer in there which is why I ended up going with the nrg setup

@@genesisboston148 your clockspring wouldn’t be the issue for an airbag light that would throw a stability control light, you might have an issue with your airbag control module if the resistors that came in your kit aren’t working in the plug
