John, car is coming along nice bro, looks 🔥. Great choice with that wheel, 100% fits the vibe of the project. BTW, seriously nice work on the temporary sunroof delete, actually digging the white contrasting the black on the interior, looks like a sunroof in a way still, as in the way you can see out through sunroof blue shy, white clouds, bringing light into cabin making interiors feel less dark, small. I know it is only temporary but, again bro, nice work.
Thanks man
Can’t wait for the build to be done, it’s gonna look so clean. That steering wheel just made it pop and stand out 🔥
Looks good! Could watch these build videos all day.
Thanks!
I can't get enough of this whip 🔥
Doing the steering wheel at this point of the build made it that much sweeter! Looking so good!
Loving the build bro, keep these vids comin!! 👌🏼🔥
Thanks!
Steering wheel looks fire! Interior is coming along great with the wheel, cage and seats!
Yessir!
Love it man!
As a recent subscriber I'm happy, cuz we've been getting consistent uploads
Yes I’m certainly doing my best to put out a shit ton of content
John brother happiness all the way from South Africa 🇿🇦 loving this build series 👏
Nice!!! Always fresh new content bro.
Thanks man
e36 build has been really fun to watch
Love the steering wheel it's fire 🔥🔥🔥 bro
nice ride
Nice!!
Sheeeeeesh 🔥🔥, now you just need some exhaust.
Should be here tomorrow
Third! Another banger…I’m here for it! Let’s go!
Thanks!
Some Colored Gauge Face in laguna seca blue would make that interior so clean
Did you ever figure out the clockspring? I have a 328 and had the same issue but it's completely a street car so I'd like turn signal cancelling back haha
Does the turn signal feels kinda too far from the left hand after you changed the steering wheel? Or its fine?
How do I keep the airbag light off when I instal the wheel??
If you want to color match your steering wheel, maybe you can wrap the blue cap with some left over laguna blue material and put a white sparco sticker on top?
Definitely an option!
Can the "chrome" center piece be wrapped; does it have raised letters?
Where did you get the window trim 🥲
Love that wheel but weren’t you getting one from azaauto?
How many mm is the new steering wheel
I put the same hub on my e36 and 2 of the holes lined up and I just took a drill bit too the 3rd and made it work and I haven’t had any problems using it for a year now
None of my holes lined up, if I tried to make one of them line up, the entire clockspring would be off center and it wouldn’t seat into the stem properly. Do you have an m3 or 328?
@@ThicWhips 328, I think it was just poor design on nrgs part but after I just drilled the hole out so it shifted over like a millimeter everything worked fine
So from what I understand if I use the 328 clock spring it will work
@@ThicWhips Besides the one hole not lining up perfectly, yes, everyone I know with e36s have had no problems using the nrg hub with the 328 clock spring👍
I’ve got a buddy with one he’s gonna give me a next week to try it out
The steering wheel and shift boot looks great. Have you tried to re drill the holes for the clock spring? Having a removable steering wheel is an excellent anti theft device because your steering wheel is with you how would one drive the car away.
except no one wants to carry their steering wheel around
Hide it in the trunk @@EliTheBMXER
Looks amazing but feels kinda small in the middle idk maybe because original is bigger? But the car looks amazing now, love the exterior but does your car now pass smog considering no airbag and no horn?
Car is past 20 years old, smog is a nonissue here in nc
1:30 lmaoo 😂
Shit was busted lol
I would personally went for a reupholsterd m-tech steeringwheel 🤔
turn signal???
Yes, this bmw is equipped with a turn signal.
Where did you get that cage from? I’m really digging it that’s exactly what I want in mine.
Autopower makes it
@@ThicWhips Yeah, noticed that just watching your other vid. Never realized how good they look in the car especially painted.
Sounds like your clockspring is bad which is why your horn isn’t working. I had the same issue in my old Ford Ranger and a new clockspring solved the horn issue. I know my Ranger isn’t an M3, but should still be the same concept.
Nice yeah I got a line on a base model clock spring which I’m gunna throw in next week
Where do I get this entire quick release setup at?
