such a blessing that she is recovering. a little over 10 years ago, my bride had her tonsils out. She coughed and the stitches tore. She ended up bleeding quite extensively and had to undergo emergency surgery.
I will keep you, your wife and your whole family in my prayer today.

Christian, you and your family will be on my mind. I have been under anesthesia plenty of times for surgery and yes, it does feel like you've been hit by a slow moving truck. Having my husband by my side throughout every moment gave me comfort and courage to confront the pain and uncertainty. You are a great man just being there for your wife, I can definitely attest to that! Take good care of her, and we will be waiting when you are ready to come back to Dad Sews.

You are so right about telling the people you love anything you need to say and maybe have been putting it off. My 86 year old mom passed away suddenly on Oct. 7. She had lived with us for the past 5 years. I didn't get to say goodbye because it happened so fast. Praying for you and your family.

:0( So glad everything turned out ok! Lost my sister a couple years ago after a surgery due to kidney failure. I know that awful wait while a family member is in ICU. She had other health problems but that cut her life short. Please go hug your wife and tell her how glad you are that she is still in your life after you read this. I know you surely already have many times. I just wish l could tell my sister that one more time. 😞 On a lighter note I am so glad I found your channel. I laugh 😆 while learning new things!

im so sorry to here this. i feel or you because i know how it feels. my youngest was suddenly wisked away from us at 24hrs old to be flown over an hour away when they discovered she had a congenital heart defect. its hard it walk into a room and see your loved one intebated and sedated with all kinds of tubs coming out of them. our daughter had a life saving Cath procedure the next morning and was out of the nicu 4 days later. she had another cath at 11 weeks and is currently 6 months old. she is in a wait and see and our next step is open heart surgery. you would never know she had any problems because she acts and looks like a perfectly healthy 6 month old and for that i am thankful. even tough we know what we will see i will still never be prepared to see my little girl with all the tubes and wires, anyways this isnt about me i just wanted to say i absolutely know how you felt.

I saw on facebook when she went into surgery! I am so sorry this happened!!. Tubes and stuff will definitely make someone feel like theyve been hit by a bus :( . Make sure she takes it easy! Being a mom, its so hard to rest once you come home. Just take care of your family ❤ itll be okay. I hope youre doing okay! Ill be praying for you and your family.
