Love the simplicity of these gorgeous lily of the valley flowers Meredith. And as always you explain and demonstrate how to make them so well. I really like how you framed them too, so beautiful. Thank you for sharing. ❤😘
So lovely. My sister's favorite flower so will make some of these and put them on a card to send her. Thanks for making it look so easy. I do miss quilling.
I love Lilly of the valley. The smell and look brings my childhood back as my mom grew these along the side of our house. Thank you for video and was wondering if you could do a video about framing your quilling project?
Thank you for another wonderful tutorial Meredith! I have a question about the framed Lily of the Valley you show, do you frame your quilling with or without the glass?
There's no glass in the frame of this video because of the reflection it would show on screen. I usually frame behind glass at home but you'll need to make sure you have a deep enough frame or a shadow box. Some don't use glass and that's fine as well. You may want to use a sealant to protect the colors of your paper. The site Honey's Quilling has a lot of info on different types of sealants.
Love your tutorial on the Lily of the Valley. I must try this . Also, I try to see your shop on Amazon but was told could not find the site. Help. Thank you.
The flower turned out lovely but when I put it on the card made from cardstock I made a mess. Do you have a tutorial for that aspect especially when attaching a fine line. Your work is beautiful & your tutorials are so very helpful to we novices. Thank you.
Thanks for watching! I don't have a video on mounting this flower, but if you scroll towards the end of this seahorse video, you'll see how I add glue to the back of that project and mount it on mat board 👉 ruclips.net/video/ilMJ3HcbyR8/видео.htmlsi=F1nfF9tVDo9R1382 I hope that helps!
It doesn't look like the mat board brand that I used in the frame in this video is being sold on Amazon anymore, but I've linked to a similar product in the description box of the video. Here is a link to the frames that I like👉 www.michaels.com/product/black-gallery-frame-with-double-mat-by-studio-decor-10414806 I hope that helps!
A glue stick would be fine for making coils but I think it's a little harder to control than glue in a needle-nose bottle. It would also be tricky for gluing pieces together and I don't think it would be strong enough to mount quilling for display or a card. If it works for you though, that's great! 😁

Thanks so much for watching! I know I've talked about mounting quilling a few times, but not framing. I'll add it to the list!

super - you take what kind of glue?
For this project, I just used Elmer's Glue-All. I have links to that and all the other supplies needed in the description box for the video 🙂
Can you give a link to the canvases you use and the frames?

@@ThePaperyCraftery it does thank you so much for all of your tutorials and guidance, you have made getting into this craft a dream!
Are the Lilly of the Valley flowers the same as the bellflower?
Bellflowers seem to be a little bit larger, but if I were making them, I'd approach them pretty much the same way.
I’ve seen videos using stick glue why is that not preferable over liquid glue?
A glue stick would be fine for making coils but I think it's a little harder to control than glue in a needle-nose bottle. It would also be tricky for gluing pieces together and I don't think it would be strong enough to mount quilling for display or a card. If it works for you though, that's great! 😁
Is it just me or does the Lilly of the Valley look like the Gladiola?
They look a little similar. The good news is that this technique will work for lots of bell or trumpet shaped flowers 🙂

A ile to centymetrów?
Paski papieru, których używam, mają około 3 mm, a gotowe pąki kwiatowe mają około 19 mm, gdy są gotowe.
Bardzo dziękuję
