Excellent fantastic teacher. Thank you so taking it slow and showing exactly where to put the next stitch and showing it more than once before moving on. Some show it once and move on. I need repetition so thank you so much. I will be watching more of your videos. Thank you again so much. Beautiful project!
You know...I had bought a bunch of 6 weight yarns a month ago and something was telling me to hold off doing anything with them. Now I know why! This is gorgeous, thank you, Dana!
I am so glad I discovered your channel! You've inspired me to return to crocheting after taking a break this year. I love that you provide clear and easy to follow instructions and you actually show the product before/after in detail too, so I can decide if that is the pattern of beanie I should create. Thank you for your work into these videos. they're much appreciated :)
I used Bernat Softee Chunky yard (6) and a 8mm hook and this turned out beautifully. Thank you for your excellent video… I’ll be making these for gifts for sure 🥰
I used worsted weight cotton, K hook, and chained 11 for foundation chain. Final measurements are 4" crown, 13" stretched diameter, and 5" height (since I made an additional needed finishing row for( almost ) 3 month old granddIghter. Her twin sister is bigger, so will see if larger hook will suffice. Topped beanie with crocheted curly cues. Maybe this info will be helpful to someone else. Will use method of closing top hole and cleaner finish with inverted hook trick in future !
So helpful and easy to follow! Thank you so much! One question - what is the reason for it needing to end on a row 4? I have 29 rows (ended on 4) but it is a tiny bit short, so was hoping to add a last row 5 for the added length. Thanks in advance!
I buy the pom poms separately from the pom pom button. The buttons I buy from Angie + Britt www.angieandbritt.com/accentnotions/pombuttons I get the poms off Amazon amzn.to/414AL3T I hope this helps!
@@celty1958 you absolutely can! I tell you at the beginning that you definitely want to go by measurements and not my stitch counts for this hat. So if you follow the concept, you should be able to make it with a less bulky yarn. I would just use the recommended hook size on the yarn sleeve, or possibly go up a size or 2 if you tend to crochet tightly. Good luck to you!
@@celty1958 also, I have this tutorial that I think would do great with a size 5 bulky weight yarn if you want to check it out. It makes a fun texture: ruclips.net/video/-Hv1ldK449A/видео.htmlsi=8Jk6HImCXX8J2p0G
Very nice pattern simple enough for a beginner! Very clear instructions too- Thank you!

Just so the stitch pattern repeats line up☺️

Any chance you have matching fingerless gloves for this!? (or any matching glove or mitten?!
I don't but that's a great idea! I will write it down for future release☺️
Would it be possible to make this with weight 5 yarn? I'm really struggling to find a hat pattern for the weight I have

@ you're welcome!
Do you dye your poms? Can't wait to get some 6 yarn. All I have is 4 and under.
I do not. I buy my poms off Amazon. I meant to link them in the description box, but I completely forgot 🤦🏻♀️
