Easy Crochet Wrist Wallet ~ Doubles as a cup cozy! Perfect for gifting!

This crochet wrist wallet actually doubles as a cup cozy! These make great Christmas gifts or stocking stuffers to crochet for the holidays. Grab some cash or a gift card to your favorite coffee shop, put it in the little hidden pocket, tie a gift tag and some ribbon around the center and VOILA! You've got yourself a very budget-friendly but uselful crochet Christmas gift.
In this video I show you how to use regular worsted weight yarn to make this project, but I also show you how easy it is to improvise if you wish to use a different size of yarn. Gauge is fairly important in this crochet pattern if you wish it to fit your wrist, a gift card, and a coffee cup, so be sure to check your gauge before beginning your project.

Supplies Needed
-60-70 yds. of any medium worsted weight yarn (size 4). I'm using Lion Brand's Lazy Days and I really love it for this project (affilliate): shrsl.com/4b7na
-Size 3.75 mm hook, or size needed to obtain gauge
-Small button or bead in inconspicuous color (around 8 mm in size is best)
-Scissors, tape measure, tapestry needle
Gauge
8 dc and 4.5 rows = 2 inches. Gauge is important for this pattern.
Finished Measurements
Finished piece measures approx. 3.75 x 5 inches when laying flat.
