- In this video, I teach you how to crochet this faux macrame lace embellishment! I prefer to add it to the top of a small zippered canvas bag and turn it into a boho wristlet, but you could also realistically put this topper around the top of a basket, a planter pot, a pillow, or even add it to a shirt as an emellishment to sleeves, necklines, or shirt hems. The options are endless and it is super quick and easy to make!
If you prefer a written version, I do offer this pattern for free on my blog here: daysck.com/cro...
You can also purchase the ad-free printable pdf of this pattern in my pattern shops.

For Ravelry, see: www.ravelry.co...
Supplies Needed:
-Size G 4.25 mm hook
-90-100 yds worsted weight yarn (I prefer to use cotton or cotton blends, but you can certainly use acrylic)
-Plain canvas zipper pouch, size 9" x 6"
-Lobster swivel clasp (for wristlet attachment)
-Hot glue gun and glue sticks
-4" piece of cardboard (for fringe)
-Scissors, tape measure, yarn needle
Gauge:
Gauge is not imperative for this pattern since I will be using st multiples and giving you the math to adjust the size of the cover accordingly; however, if you are trying to make the small canvas bag topper, I do recommend adjusting your hook size until you are able to reach my st counts.

Yw!
Really cute and unique! ❤❤❤.
Thank you, sweet friend ❤️
I absolutely love this clutch. I just finished making it and was wondering if you have ever made it bigger for a canvas purse. I would assume you would just have to use a multiple of 22 chains....you are amazing
@@darlenelibrizzi5519 thank you! If it's a circle shape, you can use multiples of 11, but if you need an equal numbers of points on each side, you need multiples of 22. 😊
It's really pretty
Thank you!
This is such a cute bag! 😍
Thank you!
Btw, just a gentle heads up. The link to purchase the items in the video is not working. Thanks in advance for the fix! ☺️

Beautiful
Thanks so much❤️
Very pretty wristlet. Thank you.
Is I love this cotton acceptable for this?
Yes! You can technically use acrylic yarn, but it's more likely to fray. But you can use any worsted weight cotton yarn you like!
Can you wash & dry it?
You can by hand and lay flat to dry. Even if it was sewn, I wouldn't recommend machine washing or drying anything handmade.
