      @@GiseleMcullyAfter doing the first 7 rows, you repeat row 6 and 7 until you get the length you desire, then you do one more round of 6 and cut your yarn.

    It took me 2 hours but I did it! Haha. My yarn was chunkier so its a thick pinecone but still so cute! Going to buy thinner stuff tomorrow to make a neater one. 😅 Thank you sososo much! Going to stuff them with dried herbs and put them around the house.

      I can understand the effort and time it must have taken with thicker yarn but i am so happy that you worked it out😃
      I’ll highly recommend using light weight yarn for this pattern for best results😊

    I made these as christmas presents. It is so beautiful and complicated looking but by the time I finished the first one.. I could then whip one in no time it just looks complicated. We in my family this Christmas youths as a reindeer food bag. Because the reindeers do all the heavy lifted all the flight and they love Acorns. So while they're treats when in this little bag so they knew. And my other daughter who doesn't have children. Use them to hang the cat treats off the tree

    This is a great tutorial on how to do the crocodile stitch. I would like to know if I want to make it larger around and turn it into a dragons egg pouch, how many more chains would I start with, or add rows to make it twice as big around?

    • @Mushyy_1
      @Mushyy_1  Год назад

      Hi there, thank you so much! If you want to make it bigger from the base then I would suggest making 5 or 7 sets of 2 double crochets instead of 3(like in this tutorial) and then increasing them in the third round.
      The way it is worked is just like how we work a circle and then keep
      on increasing the rounds.
      I hope this helps😊

    Anyone knows the size of wool would be best

      Light weight yarn or cotton yarn would work best😊

    How would you continue to make a whole pinecone if you didn't want to make it a bag?

    • @Mushyy_1
      @Mushyy_1  10 месяцев назад

      In that case you would just have to decrease the Rounds by working Double crochets 2 Together or single crochets Together

      On the rows where you are putting in the DCs right? How many should I remove each time? One or two for each set of rounds?

    • @Mushyy_1
      @Mushyy_1  10 месяцев назад

      @@crystallee405 yes please, it’s the dc row(repeat of Round 6) and you can remove both the dc’s(a Set) at one time.
      I was thinking of one more option-
      After you have inserted the cord and tied the knot, just insert the hook from the circle(worked at the start, before the treble crochet) and pull the cord inside. So that ways you won’t be able to see the cord hanging out. Just a suggestion and an easier way too😊

      @Mushyy_1  10 месяцев назад +1

      It’s up your choice😊 You can customize it and make it as per your desired length. The size I have made in the tutorial is the perfect size if worked with a light weight yarn
