I played guitar around 10 years but my skill so bad I'm try improve I'm interested but possible can I learn your on-line course i had never learned notation before
5:46 I just find it SO hilarious and wholesome when we begins the chromatic ascent into Capricho Arabe, and then he just loses it for a sec. Love it 🤣😂
I just feel lucky that i can listen in the comfort of my own home to such talents and music that only rich and noble people could listen to in this manner of professionalism. it just makes you think how well we got it and put life into perspective, thanks you.
He is the most gifted musican ever. Just listen to his interpretation of a song against another, you can hear his pause ,soft, to bold playing. Beautiful! Feel his heart play. Oh. My good!
I have just today 19.2.23, watched Jelena Ratkovik, perform this piece of music among others, in Bexhill Sussex, UK. This was played so beautifully and made me cry. I am 57 years old. 💐♥️🎶😊
After listening to many guitarists play this piece I can say you are the only one who does not rush the rythmic bits and understands the meaning of Cantabile. You draw from your excellent instrument great clarity but also the old melancholic tone lacking in some modern guitars and artists. To all the folks harping on the Dorian Gray theory, I say check out Nana Muoskouri in many years. I was a boy when I first saw her and middle aged before she showed signs of aging, she sang in 22 idioms, seldom appeared in daylight and in those instances you can detect tiny blisters on her skin. Examine her videos and let this young man play music!
I feel in love with this piece from listening to a 1981 Decca recording by guitarist Carlos Bonell. I studied the first published manuscript of this piece and enjoy playing it. But your superb interpretation surpasses my expectations. Your hands seem to float around the instrument and your delicate treatment and phrasing brings out subtle harmonies that evokes the Verdi's orchestral version. It is a joy listening to such virtuoso and true musician. Slowing your tempo while playing the tremolo was a great touch to bring out the cantabile quality of the aria. Bravisimo!
So mesmerizing that I sit here mesmerized; in awe. Firstly of Brandon as a human being, infused with the rarest of gifts, namely, a magnetic aura gently radiating such calmness and confidence that his silence goes unnoticed while his fingers dance effortlessly around the guitar and speak a truth more beautiful than the spoken word - to me anyway. Positively enchanting. Nothing lost in translation. Lastly, the way you play and express both passion and sentiment adds another dimension to these masterpieces. I bow to you, sir. How fortunate must be those who know you personally. Do you pull out a guitar after dinner and ask if anyone wants to hear a newly mastered piece? You'd have to tell me to go home, because I'd be the "would you do one more?" guy.
@The Riff Guy🌵you've said it all !! My mother was gifted this way on the Piano. Classically trained. When he plays Chopin or Bach and others, I can hear her on the keyboard. Geez! She could express her love for the composer & his piece, the instrument, and love of music!! JUST AS BRANDON DOES!! I'm 80 yrs now, Brandon is the first classical musician I've heard who loves it as much as my mother did. He's one of a kind!
This is a perfect piece of guitar music played perfectly. This piece has within it every guitar technique...tremolo, pizzicato, ascending and descending slurs, changes in tempo, hemiolas, the entire neck is played ..everything.
That was absolutely beautiful, Brandon. Your interpretation gave Verde's exquisite music new life. I'm sure he'd be very pleased. It transformed big stage lyric opera into a beautiful parlor classical guitar piece. I'd love to hear an album of these kinds of transformed pieces. I'm greatly enjoying your channel and music.
As I sit here learning to better transition between a G and C chord...😐 I will never be this good. You sir, are insanely talented. These videos are the best. Inspirational for beginners.
I've been addicted to youtube for some years, and I'm trying to control it now. Your playing slows my mind down and makes me realize there are many interesting things to do outside of this website. Hearing and seeing you play make want to clean my bathroom, do pushups and study. This may come out as very random, but thank you!
This particular piece made me fall in a deeper love with the classical guitar. Hope I will one day be able to play it for my own ears and my own heart.
I read some comments first, and was afraid I’d get dizzy watching the video, so I employed a technique I have used to obviate distraction at concerts. I closed my eyes and just LISTENED.
I love this rendition so much! Thankyou Brandon for inspiring me each day to pick up my guitar and play. I hope to one day preform in front of an audience as you do :)
Being a guitar player with frustratingly shaky hands, the delicate plucking you do to get that piano-like sound is just as impressive to me as your left hand work.
Awesome! One of my favorite Operas and now "un dolce ristoro" to my ears, as you supremely played these themes on yr guitar! G. Verdi might be smiling in his grave!
Well played young man...I love this transcription...I cannot play anymore...trigger (middle) finger left hand others going same way ..massive collection of published works in standard notation ..with no home after me .
This is simply fabulous. Also, I did indeed suppose that 8 years ago Brandon would have been, say, pre-pubescent. Not so, apparently. But still, how in the world did he get so good so young?
Señor ~ ¡A mí, también! No importa cuantas veces que escucho y veo a Señor Acker tocar la música clásica, (especialmente la música española), la música de Sr. Acker toca mi corazón ¡profundamente!

Brandon is not aging. No signs of aging even after 6 years. He is actually an ancient lute player.
reminds me of Dorian Grey
Vampire slayers are immortal as well
Love it! Agree!
No wonder he knows these songs so well - he was there at the premiere!
I have this fantasy that Brandon Acker is secretly a vampire who lived through the Baroque era and was sired by Keanu.
Lol he does look like Lestat
Thought I was the only one seeing that 😆
yeah! one of a kind vampire who plays a concert for himself and inside a church! lol!
What a precise comparison! I can see it too, definitely😉👏
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA
You are a superb guitarist with impeccable taste in repertoire.
And you're a pretentious old man.
@@grarglejobber5773 lol what
Tarrega is always a safe option :)

I absolutely agree, I was wondering if anyone else noticed lol. The way he played it off though was impressive

Actually is not that expensive to heard some of this musicians
That's a beautiful way to think about it
God is good. ☺️
I think he was talking about the older centuries.
Thank you for sharing your talent.
i can play any fast metal song, but this transition 0:26 omg brandon
There are a lot of good musicians out there but I still find Brandon the most beautiful to listen to
He is the most gifted musican ever. Just listen to his interpretation of a song against another, you can hear his pause ,soft, to bold playing. Beautiful! Feel his heart play. Oh. My good!
The world needs more music like this right now. Thank you Brandon for bringing peace and calm every time you play.
You just made me fall in love with classical guitar music!
Yes yes. How can you not tune out our noise and listen when you hear this wonderful talent. My heart!
How could someone not "like" this?

You are more than virtuous. It's seldom that you hear someone play with that kind of sensitivity! I love everything you are playing!

Do you know how brilliant this is?
I just love the way Brandon Acker plays. It is sensational. If only I could figure out how to do that tremolo picking at the speed he does it.
Brandon you create a great measure of wondefful energy with your videos....stay blessed!
This is a perfect piece of guitar music played perfectly. This piece has within it every guitar technique...tremolo, pizzicato, ascending and descending slurs, changes in tempo, hemiolas, the entire neck is played ..everything.
🌵Absolutely AWESOME!!
What an artiste´! Thank

I found myself passionately applauding at home on my own. Superb interpretations.
Beautiful Phrasing and playing Brandon!!!
An absolute joy watching and listening to you play.
The only guy that could calm me right now. But still my heart dances further on. Thank you 🌍

Thanks so much, John! I do have a goal to record a full CD of operatic fantasies like this one on a 19th century stye guitar.
@@brandonacker That's exciting, Brandon! I can't wait to buy it!

Wow that guitar has a small voice in it that resembles a grand piano much so
This particular piece made me fall in a deeper love with the classical guitar. Hope I will one day be able to play it for my own ears and my own heart.
You play masterfully; polished. I so love to listen to your music. Thank you Brandon.👏👏👏
Your timing and feelings are absolutely awesome and great!
Thank you for a very joyous song!
Holy long fingers Batman as a person blessed with short fingers I can only dream about playing this style guitar

God has given you to the world to let know the world the beauty of music that lies in his creation.
This absolutely made my day. I am a big fan of both the opera and your playing.
My favourite maestro at work, I am so jealous of your beautiful guitars, keep them coming Brandon. Superb rendition.
Of course you've done this piece! Wonderfully done, I love your approach to harmonics

Beautiful!!!
If Patrick Bateman and Tobey Maguire raised their love-child on a diet of Tarrega, Segovia, and Barrios, this would be the result.
i love tarrega so much. i am saving for your paid lessons so i can finally play some of his pieces and this one too!!!!
I really enjoy your beautiful music. You are a blessed soul. Thank you so much for all this heavenly music.
Thank you very much. I enjoy this piece very much. My first memorized piece of music for classical guitar was an F.Tarrega piece. Lagrima and Adelita
What touch and feeling! Bet he's great at calculus too.
