As a guitar player, this is possibly the Greatest guitar performance I’ve ever seen… his mastery of so many different techniques including non-gimmicky use of false harmonics was astonishing!
I'm trying to learn a song right now thats fingerstyle with many false harmonics on the high string and its a nightmare because im only used to doing them with my thumb and index finger.
Просто лучший! Невероятная техника, великолепный звук! Ваше исполнение очень вдохновляет, мотивирует больше заниматься. И я даже не представлял, что кампанелла может так хорошо звучать на гитаре

It's just not a piece suitable for guitar, as far as I can tell with no academical knowledge. Too many chords over really rushed arpeggios. To play the arpeggios by themselves requires to really be skilled, adding the chords to play them like the original on piano to me is just not possible. Recently I've been trying to play a piano solo on guitar (Van a rodar cabezas - Mägo de Oz), a solo that isn't too complicated on piano, but to play it on guitar is a real task.

One of the most outstanding classical guitar performances I've seen so far.Fantastique arrangement as well, can hear the orchestra as well as the soloist loudly and clearly.
I’ve never seen virtosic players that good ✨ this dude can play the entire (3rd movement) Paganini piece and not making ANY mistakes 🔥 Thousands of hours of practice. All my respect ✊
When he smoothed his wayward hair back and never broke rhythm, THAT is smooth. An amazing performance of an impossible piece. Thank you for sharing this recording with us. Bravo, Maestro, Bravo!
@@Mikedr55there is kind of people who always bring politics to anywhere. Now you decided to spoil true art, which always was apolitical. Do something with your life, that's not a good way to spend it.
One of the best displays of virtuosity I've seen. Looks so incredibly difficult. Note how the man is laser-focused - serious intensity. Applause! Btw, I've never seen that guitar-stand device before, how clever is that!
If Paganini wouldn't be impressed with that, he'd have to be a very hard man. This is a guitarrist who has "arrived" - in the realm of classical music, I don't think anybody can get better than this. There are many people who can play La Campenella on the violin, but I've never heard it played like this on the guitar, so I think it's fair to say that this man has taken the guitar beyond where Paganini took the fiddle. This is truly wonderful playing.
@garyallen8824 Yes, Liszt wrote piano arrangements for all the Pagannini etudes (La Campanella is Etude No. 3), and this guitar arrangement seems to owe a lot to the piano score - a piece that was always far beyond my piano skills. This guitar arrangement seems to be based on the Liszt piano score, and I think the guitarrist is absolutely brilliant. He *_definitely_* merited a bigger audience in that concert hall! 😉
Such a wide variety of playing styles! Gandiónza playing technique, song dynamics, use of register, feeling... Amazing, beautiful, congratulations.. :)🙂
This is heavy metal shredding 👍there are so many techniques here borrowed by metal players, sweeping arpeggios, string damping, power chords, legato, trills, harmonics It's all here - brilliant!!!
Great, magnificent , extraordinary rendition of LIZST CAMPANELLA. A beautiful and too difficult piece to play!! I myself am a guitar player for all my life, including 7 years at a conservatory and I take off my hat in front of this genius!!!! WONDERFUL!!! SUPERB!!!
Brilliant Artyom. Ive loved this peice for 60 plus years and I'm very sure Nicolo (a rather nifty guitarist himself by all accounts) would be very very impressed by this. Marvelous job sir. The first time Ive played a vid 4 times straight - It is breathtaking. Thank you so much.
Whether it is in terms of playing skills, various musical temperaments, or the handling of music, it shows that this is a master who can freely control guitar performance.
Fantastic. As a pianist I love and am in awe of Kissin’s rendition as part of an Encore at the Albert Hall. But this is every bit as good and maybe even surpasses it as before seeing this I wouldn’t have believed that the piece could be played like this on guitar. Bravo 👏
His rendition of Scarlatti K208 is amazing and tender and I especially love his haunting recording of the 'Old Lime Tree' by Rudnev. And this performance is absolutely mesmerising. Too bad there is no one live in the audience to appreciate it. A feast with no one to savour it. Тем не менее: браво!
really great ......Its rare that a guitarist playing Paganini can capture the sense of spontaneity that is so much a part of his music. Paganini most lkely played music like that as improvisation and later wrote it down, you make it sound fresh and alive .....great job. also great hall for recording
What impresses me isn't only the technique. It's how he transcribed the way paganini plays on many lines. Many guitarists have great technique but this is special
Mixing a whole rainbow of colours - such a glorious musical display of your dancing fingers as you set your guitar strings singing in pure exhilarating joyful exuberance..!
Best thing about the pandemic: No coughs or coin drops during recorded performances. Bravo! Beautiful!
Coin drop? Is that a real frequent problem in classical music performances? If so that is funny
I see you came here from the Asturias performance 🤣🤣
Great comment, but i want also to add the screaming of the people or claps in wrong moment or during the performance!
And no one that can admire you...
no cellphone ringing, no flashes... damn

You should watch a few more then.
Although this is very good you might want to watch Paco De Lucia one of if not the greatest guitar players of all time
