    I’ve studied several artists playing this. But the others couldn’t vary the the volume down to a whisper and the pace perfectly and effortlessly as Brandon. Thank you Brandon. This makes me want to learn Spanish guitar.

    Brendon in my new favourate guitarist. A total inspiration, and a great teacher. If only Andrés Segovia or even John Williams got a chance to hear him play, they'd be quite impressed. Maybe even a little envious 😁

    saved this to my guitar lessons playlist xD much to learn from this video. Do you still play this piece Brandon? Or is it hard to keep it polished among the other repertoire you've learned since then? I've wondered this in my pursuit of a good tremolo.

    • @brandonacker
      @brandonacker  5 лет назад +33

      Hi, yes this is one of the pieces in always perform many times per year. It's good to keep the tremolo fresh in the fingers or it fades. Best of luck :)

      @@tepsi87 '... German music, not so much'. Come on! That in the country of Bach, just to begin with. And now please don't retort 'ancient history!' (an argument I normally accept), Recuerdos de la Alhambra is from 1896, and the man playing it specializes in guitars that are millennia old.

Your play and your understanding of music is exceptionally, especially your Tourina interpretations! Don't get me wrong, but we are all handcrafters and should stay together. ;-)
