- The Shiny Hunt for Feebas is finally over! After Shiny Hunting a Feebas with a 1% Chance to Encounter for 4 Years I managed to finally find Shiny Feebas. As an avid Pokémon Shiny Hunter, I like to do Pokémon Shiny Challenges to obtain Ultra Rare Shiny Pokémon. But when Pokémon Sword & Pokémon Shield released I decided to do the Hardest Pokémon Shiny Hunt Ever: The 1% Shiny Feebas Hunt in Route 2. During the Shiny Feebas hunt, I also found 135 Shiny Magikarp and 82 Shiny Chewtle.

This was soooo worth it. The pokemon community needs to celebrate.
It's crazy to think that this hunt has lasted an entire Pokemon generation back in 2019 that included 3 mainline Pokemon games, 2 sets of DLC and literally 1 day before The Teal Mask released to become one of the longest recorded shiny hunts in the history of Pokemon.
*This journey deserves to be put into a museum just from the sheer determination this man has endured!*
And I thought I was enduring 1933 Yanmega encounters... THIS MAN DESERVES A PERSEVERANCE AWARD

I saw your stream many times during Covid, i remember i always sent the same message on the stream "next feebas will be shiny". Everyday i joined your stream, even when i got covid and felt tired of playing PoGo, CR and WR. After the pandemic ended, i went back to my normal life.
And now you got it, its unbelievable, incredible and absolutely amazing to finally see this vid and the numbers, the odds, everything. It took so much time!

every time i've watched the clip of the shiny feebas encounter, i've started crying oml, the emotions are just so strong! i haven't been able to catch any of the feebas streams and i only found your channel middle of this year, but i was an instant fan of your unique energy and humor, which to me really stands out from the rest (in a good way of course!). i hope to catch a stream of yours one day! as a shiny hunter myself, i always find it comforting to hunt some shinies while watching another hunter's stream or vod of their own hunt, cause then we're almost on our own journeys together, in a way. when you follow shiny hunters, you get more shinies! it's just math :P
but i digress. i am SO stoked about this, i instantly shared the clip with all of my friends when i saw it on twitter. it's an awesome achievement you deserve to be proud of. i also look forward to the mini doc, i just know it's going to be really insightful and interesting, and i respect that you want to put all the time and care into it as you can given the gravity of the subject, so i'm happy to remain patient, knowing it will come out when it's ready.

I remember occasionally joining the stream a year ago and seeing your determination for Feebas truly helped me keep going with my own hunts! (and it payed off! i finally found my shiny pawniard in gen5 after a year of hunting full odds!)
Funny enough I left the stream only a few hours before the Feebas showed up, you can't imagine my face when I logged back in and saw your Feebas clip trending and I was like "NO WAY IT FINALLY HAPPENED??"

To think you nearly went double odds on a hunt like this and still, you kept it up, even if it was a goal to get yourself to do it again, you put that goal there as something that'd make you do it again and I'm glad.
