Thanks for the update Andrew!!! The flame is not as yellow as I thought. It looks like the venturi isn't designed for that volume of propane/air mixture.
There is a significant problem with this burner. I just bought one. The air shutter cannot control the air supply because of a poor design. Rotating the shutter does not change the opening size.
thanks for the follow up video, I have an old welding project from school(11 years ago) and all I need to complete it is a good burner, very helpful and motivational.
If you use this burner you need to substantially reduce the height between the top of the burner and the wok (compared to your single orifice burner}. I'd suggest around 4-5 inch clearance to the bottom of the wok. I've also had fun with the X72 burner - chief advantage is gas consumption which I assume is a result of highly directional heat and a near-perfect flame cone. But a lot more expensive of course! Much like yourself I prototyped my burner in cold-rolled steel (14 gauge for the sheet, 13 gauge for the ring) before switching to much more expensive, but much nicer stainless steel. Definitely a good plan unless you are really sure of all your dimensions!
nice introduction, thanks. I am planning to use this burner, regulator and body of an old Weber grill (e-200) to make a wok station. Any one has done something similar? any thing I need to consider please share? also, any idea what type of mounting hardware fits and safe to heat to this burner
Great, I’m gonna look into how to make an custom made wok station and BBQ unit together. Really need high BTU count station, maybe more power than this.
Hey Andrew. Thanks for this. I’ve just purchased one as a result of watching. Plan is to build my own portable wok station based on the Rambo Wok Burner. Please could you let me know what the distance between the King Kooker burner and the wok should be? Many thanks 🙏
Thanks for the video. I'm looking to build a burner for a pizza oven ... Just need to go up to 100,000btu but with tall yellow flame. Are there technique to get the burner to burn more quiet (like some of the expensive burners out there)? Also you have any videos on installing igniters & safety valves?
want to use that in france . do i need an adapter for the hose to the brass screw , if so, what size , i was thiking of a nipple to plug in the hose outside .

Anyone ever tried repurposing a burner from an old water heater element? It would already be set up for natural gas. I got one out of my old WH, I was thinking about using it in a round bbq grill. I can't seem to find any ideas on YT...
Andrew i like your channel cuz u always make useful item, here there is a suggestion of one of item i would like to see u building.a cake refrigerator display and a food warmer display.please this would be a life saving.i could see anyhow i could contact u,i live in africa.Rwanda
I asked this question on one of your other videos. I have been considering how to add a LP burner like this to the inside of my wood burning stove. I would like to be able to leave my house in the winter time and wood stoves only burn so long. If I could install a burner like this to the inside of the stove when I need it and remove it when I want to burn wood again I could heat my house without the need of installing a complete other LP burning stove, any thoughts?
My guess would be not enough oxygen can get to the flame and it goes orange so bad heat and it's not facing up so gas goes out high speed sideways and doesn't hit the pan just the walls and your torso.
No difference. Indoor household natural gas line has maybe 1-3 psi pressure from gas company supply line outdoors. Propane tank has 100-200 psi stepped down with regulator to 30 psi.
Could this burner be used in a pizza oven? I need the oven to get about 800-900 degrees...It would be a domed perlite oven so it would retain heat pretty well.
It would and maybe wouldn't even need to be on high, id you're DIY-ing it, put it in the back of the oven and use a motorized spinning disc to slowly turn the pizza in there to get a nice bubbly crust all around.
Propane has a slightly different stoichiometric ratio then lpg. It will work fine but I would contact the company and see if they offer one that favors LPG air/fuel ratio to save you on gas.
Thanks for the update Andrew!!! The flame is not as yellow as I thought. It looks like the venturi isn't designed for that volume of propane/air mixture.
Thanks ! Looking to convert my Weber Smoky Mountain to gas, maybe for pizza 🍕 too

Thank you for the video. Please, what's the maximum BTU output?
thanks for the follow up video, I have an old welding project from school(11 years ago) and all I need to complete it is a good burner, very helpful and motivational.
This exactly what i was looking for to make a small pizza oven
I was thinking the exact same thing. I'd be interested to know how it works out.
Yes I was thinking this would be perfect for a DIY pizza oven too.
Please let us know your results!

Great video. My anxiety was taking a trip. Thank you.
thank you for turning off the lights. Great video!!
Looks like a perfect wok burner, thank you for sharing.
Thanks for the awesome video, been wanting to achieve a roaring flame but didn’t know how 🙏🏼👍🏼😃

How much sir...including high pressure gauge hose...thanks...
Great video
My only concern is it looks pretty flimsy lol is there a stand you could buy to make it more stable ?
I have a high pressure hose but it doesn't flame like that. It doesn't have the green cap
Did you use Teflon on the threads? Or no need for Teflon?
A ball valve near the burner should enhance the overall ease of use.
i tried a ball valve and took it out. too hard to fine tune the flame.
this video is helpful for making a gas-assisted barbecue device.
Thanks for the video. I am planning to mount this burner in a old gas grill frame (after removing burner and flavor bar... Anything i should consider?
Andrew W, what do you suppose the difference in BTUs is between the King Kooker burner and the single Jet Burner you made in your other video?
Question, the gas has cylinder has to be high pressure,or the regulator provides the high pressure?
regulator . . .
Can u buy a stand like where u put your pot or wok in it?
Hey Andrew W. Many thanks for this mate. This is exactly what I am looking for. Cheers
Thanks Leo for the great vid!
Where can I buy this😊
Quick and great review, dude
Thanks
Brilliant video thank you
What if it catches on fire right in front of where it screws in?
Thanks for this awesome review bud 😃🙌

Great video!
Quick question. Does anyone know what size of orifice perform well on this burner? Thanks
What is the max BTU output?
Hello, what determines the power in kilowatt / kW / gas burner
Do you have the link for the hose?
Hey Andrew. Thanks for this. I’ve just purchased one as a result of watching. Plan is to build my own portable wok station based on the Rambo Wok Burner.
Please could you let me know what the distance between the King Kooker burner and the wok should be? Many thanks 🙏
Between 6 and 7 inches from the base of the kooker to the top of the wok ring..
UK Chinese Takeaway Recipes by Alex Wilkie Cheers Alex Knew I could count on you! :-)
Brew-B-Q Thanks Brew.
What spacing did you end up going with?
Is this viable for a small forge burner? Can the flame be shooting down without issue?
Is it possible to move the pressure regulator closer to the burner than the tank? Ot would make it easier when doing stir fry cooking. Thanks.
Hello, can you recommend a natural gas wok burner. Thanks
Thinking of building a gas pizza oven only a small one 400 600 in size well insulated do you think this burner will be able to cope with it
where I can to buy the HIGH PRESSURE LPG and the KING KOOKER modele WKAF 1B
What causes it to roar like that.. The regulator?

Yes there is burner i'm manufacturing...it is specially used in pizza oven
@@sanjeevpal7989 Hi, I'd like to contact contact you for more details.
I'd like to get that burner in natural gas Is that possible?
want to use that in france . do i need an adapter for the hose to the brass screw , if so, what size , i was thiking of a nipple to plug in the hose outside .
Perfect.
How much will it cost? Thank you.
Very nicely done, thank you for sharing the information.
Do you think I can put this gaz burner inside a brick pizza oven ?
that is what I need if want that smoky smell of any chinese dishes I wanna cook
Can I connect it to a gas line?
How much propane does it eat up?
Hey Andrew, how far should i place this burner to the top of the wok ring?
Thank you for this video.
how can i buy dis
how many mbar do you need to make top flame?

NO JUST NO that could be seriously dangerous as soot can be extremely flammable and this could literally set your house of fire
Do you know where I can get foot pedal controller ?
I have a new 20 psi high pressure burner and it's burning yellow even with vent open all the way what can I do to fix it ? thank you
yellow flame is either LPG or not enough air usually. oak cliff as in d town baby?
Not "under twenty bucks" but "BELOW twenty bucks"!
what happen if we just change to high pressure regulator on normal gas stove top?
My guess would be not enough oxygen can get to the flame and it goes orange so bad heat and it's not facing up so gas goes out high speed sideways and doesn't hit the pan just the walls and your torso.

Johnny McG maybe 200000btu
No way you can get 200K with that without an electric air blower and a ceramic wok cradle to keep that heat in a column.
85k btu looking at specs
54,000 btu/hr @ 10 psi
I like it
Can it be used with natural gas?
@Scott Luther Would it be as sufficient with methane in terms of BTUs and pressure?
nice
So similar minded people in the comment section... Great find for a pizza oven 😁
How it performs in a pizza oven? I mean can it keep high temperature?

Hi
Please how much lpg uses for hour full turn on?
Does any body know can this be achieved by using home gas bottle? with LPG ( liquefied petrol gas), thank you .
Propane has a slightly different stoichiometric ratio then lpg. It will work fine but I would contact the company and see if they offer one that favors LPG air/fuel ratio to save you on gas.
Yes! Only with Propane! Will need a high pressure regulator
That's a jet
Seem you work indoor.
Menurut pendapat saya kompor high pressure nya kurang begitu bagus.
Nize
Any link for the pressure regulator? thanks
Can you use this burner to LPG gas?
Can this power a small pizza oven , Like onni 3 ( 40x50 cm).. to very hight temps??!
