Thanks for posting
I have a 52' and I think I would really like to do this. We did power steering and disk brakes for it in the past but I think it would be a lot more useable with the swap.
I'm building one right now with a 408 stroker la motor. What I am curious on is what size tires are those? They look good on it.
Bad ass. Sounds like a sweet deal. Thus one has 37" tires. I have another Here with 37s as well. Definetly a good size for it
Dan great project we are doing the same swap for a 1955 M37. Can you tell me the headers you are using (make model or such) would be real helpfull with our build to know what ones worked for you. Thanks in advance.
I used shorty center dump block huggers from jeggs. They work well but were a little tight where the manifold exits on the passenger side. Rear exit shorty headers may work better.
what am i missing so many ----so many eng. swaps on m37 i try to stay original if i can so it will always be an m37 i used them when they were new --52 -55
Are you going to be using the stock axles or are you changing them to a more modern axles?
Currently sticking with stock axles but changing gear ratio to make it a little more road friendly. This vehicle will be used as a promotional vehicle mainly .
@@greasyboykustoms I was just wondering because I was looking for better gears for one of these trucks, and the best gears I could find were 4:56 from military surplus if they had them in stock. I was told that there are no other available gears from places like Richmond Gear that supports those axles. Please let me know where you can get the gears if you can find them.
I believe the ones I've got for it are 4:33. I know factory was 5 something. Different axles would be a great option. With this truck now running 37" tires it also helps with the ratio/rpms
@@greasyboykustoms May I ask where you got them from? I was looking to run a 37 inch tire as well.
The tires the customer bought, Ironman brand. Also has hand made 20" wheels. Ill check on the gears when I get home. This is where the wheels came from www.redbarncustoms.net/custom-mega-truck-wheels-1.html
A Chevy engine in a Dodge? Sacrilege! An automatic transmission in a truck?
hahaha anything goes in 2020
Do you have contact info
You definitely need to finish with another video
Another one is coming up soon 👍
Bad Boy BOOO needs a proper motor 340 or 383 Mopars what a toad putting a GM in it
Maybe if they weren't double the price . If it was up to me it would have put a ford motor in it haha
Ruined it putting in that Chevy Sludge Pump .
Why would you screw that truck up with a chevy
I have 1954 M-37 that in the past had a Chevy 327 till the township's fire department blew up, then they put a International 392 into it, which is in it now. I guess they figured most anything that turned out more RPM's was better than the old flathead 6 that was in it. It still isn't very fast, but with the stock 5.83 gears it pulls like a freight train.
