Beautiful truck but I am just not a fan of the whoopie ghetto wheels with rubber band tires… JMHO. And yes it’s your tuck so you a can do anything you wasn’t and whatever makes you happy. I just gave my opinion…
My 2020 infotainment system always glitches. They replaced it once and still have issues. Just like when you picked yours up. I think it is a processor issue. They just haven't figured it out. In the last 3 - 4 years.
I have the 2024 at4 duramax. I towed 10 yards of gravel and concrete and let me tell you that it pulls! I have pulled with a 2019 and 2020 duramax and it doesn't compare to the 2024 duramax with the new turbo. I've pulled in the mountains of Pennsylvania and back in the hills of Ohio. The torque on the 24 is powerful
Thanks for the video - I though some of the trailer settings were in info screen. looks like your ass-end is squatting down a bit, is yours a stock 2500, I ordered the 3500 frame sprints axles and shocks for my 2500 plus the extra cooling pkg. Thanks Mike
The Allison 10 speed? Dude, these transmissions are monsters and are used in way more heavy duty applications that the 25 =00 series trucks. I had a transmission/diesel mechanic tell me that the 10 speed Allisons are the least of anyones worries. He stated in some years, he remembers only one needed any major work without having about 350k on it.
The one in the new GM trucks are not made by Allison only approved by Allison so I’d say the ones in none gm products are true Allison transmissions and built heavier.
No, if you do actual research, you will see that people have had nothing but issues with the new junk ass 10 speed transmissions. They are probably just as bad if not even worse than a 68RFE. And that's saying something. Also the new 10 speed is NOT an Allison. It was an in-house design by both Ford and GM. The only difference is the bell housing, the only reason it says Allison on the GM models is because GM bought the right to put the Allison stamp on it. And quick Google search would show you that.
Do You have to have truck in tow/haul mode with a trailer entered into the trucks software for it to work? Just asking, as I have no experience with truck, but will, as I have ordered a new one. Thanks for the video!
I have a 2022 Chevy 2500HD Durmax and my Truck does not sag nearly as much as that loaded with a 32ft 7700 pound RV trailer. I do use a load leveler system which help distribute the weight through the frame. When I attached the trailer, my truck only sagged about 2.4 inches. Of course I am running the stock wheels (17") and BFG's 245/75-17 ALL ALL terrain. Pulls exceptional.
Here is the video link: ruclips.net/video/0HK2-RbZ_gU/видео.html It is comparing the 2023 to 2024 so not exactly what you experienced but I think gets the point across.
I'm very happy that you don't let critics of your truck style get to you. I have a '65 GTO that I've RestoMod'd to look, drive, sound and perform exactly the way I want it to. I don't care about somebody's opinion who doesn't agree with something I did to it. They can buy & build their own car, & I won't criticise it.
Nice truck! You gotta set it up how you like it. It’s YOUR baby. I just bought a 24’ Chevy 3500HD LTZ. I’m pretty sure to adjust the gain you have to be pushing on the brakes while hitting the +\- buttons. Give that a try. Let me know if it works. Love the channel. Can’t wait to see what you do under the hood!
Nice setup, Denny sweet looking truck and another great video. Question, I have a 2020 L5P 3500 all stock, no plans on deleting it but when I come to a stop we'll almost a stop then try to go it is dangerously slow to go (turbo lag) what do you think about Banks pedal monster?
Beautiful truck but I am just not a fan of the whoopie ghetto wheels with rubber band tires… JMHO. And yes it’s your tuck so you a can do anything you wasn’t and whatever makes you happy. I just gave my opinion…
Those wheels are embarrassing looking? WTF.....What's with the dumb low profile wheels sticking 10 inches out the side and 1 inch of side wall on youtube? No one must actually use these trucks for what there for. Like off roading, hunting, dirt roads, etc...
Whistlindiesel can take care of that squatted truck for you.
Damn! the wheel / tire combo is horrible but you do you. Keep up the good work on the channel.

What size trailer are you pulling

I want to see how that exhaust brake works.
Curious to know what part or order number for the paint match flares from GM. Parts guy claim he count order paint match

Nice truck. No so on tire / Wheel combo.
Have you had any issues with check engine lights yet? I’m constantly getting the p402 code.

My concern is the transmission over time.

So far I’m loving my 24
I’m in it 66 hours a week towing… I feel like it goes into regen way too often. The mileage just drops drastically randomly

He probably cranked the keys to get the 14 wides on is why
He essentially took the rake out by ghetto leveling it @jrc0004
Gale Banks did a full tear down on the 24L5P and talked about the turbo differences over your 20 version.
@mikerider4073 beat me to it. Banks' engine tear down & analysis was great and should explain the difference you observed while towing.

Exactly!
Anyone that tows really heavy and has had a panic stop will appreciate where that brake controller is located. Perfect location.
Get a Timbren SES Suspension Enhancement System. I use it on my 24’ 3500 and I have minimal squat with 3,900lbs of 5th wheel pin weight.
Truck looks freakin sick
Thanks man I couldn’t agree more
Like your new truck bro congrats
Thanks man
Truck looks sick! And the fact that keys aren’t cranked at all makes me feel good about doing a similar setup. Just subbed!

Delete it. It really wakes them up
Put some timbrins on it.
Like your truck
The wheel and tire setup looks incredible

Looks like shit. Unless your in the middle of the Latin kings neighborhood
Damn that tire and wheel setup is horrific. Glad you like it though lol
Get a gooseneck trailer
My man you have murdered this poor Denali…. You should get time for this. Hideous!! Great channel though
Ok
wheels and tires are hideous
😂 facts
Sweet truck. Who cares what ppl think, most cry babies couldn’t afford the truck anyway
Those wheels are embarrassing looking? WTF.....What's with the dumb low profile wheels sticking 10 inches out the side and 1 inch of side wall on youtube? No one must actually use these trucks for what there for. Like off roading, hunting, dirt roads, etc...
Actually, they do. A lot of people put these setups on their rig and still use it as intended. Not everyone builds their truck to be a mall crawler.
Definitely not a fan of the looks. Different strokes for different folks, that’s what makes life interesting.
