PLAYLIST WITH INDIVIDUAL SONGS: • Tripod by Alice in Cha...
This took WAAAYYY longer than I was expecting. Though at times I was getting a bit frustrated, I had a ton of fun working on this. It was an interesting challenge to see if I could do songs without relying on a MIDI file as I had previously, so I guess it's up to you all if I was successful or not. Grind, HBY, Again, and Over Now were the only songs based off MIDI files, everything else was based off various tab sheets and the original recordings.

honestly, if you were still willing to make Mario 64 soundfont AIC, there's no doubt SAP is a must, and some bonus lesser knowns like Get Born Again, Died, Fear The Voices and Lying Season as its own sort of underground album, because this stuff is absolutely amazing

It's crazy to think this album and SM64 are contemporaries [really only a few months apart, albeit in Japan but still]. Also yes, I am old enough to have played and listened to both 🤣

Man, Shame In You was amazing with this. I'm honestly impressed how well a lot of AIC's music translates into a soundfont from an N64 games. Like, I never would've guessed that it would've meshed this well. Hell, it makes me appreciate the Super Mario 64 OST more (never really played it growing up so I never got to listen to it much until later in life) than I thought I could. Also makes me realize how good the N64's soundchip was tbh.

ROFL at the Mario voices matching the beginning of God Am. Serious attention to detail.
This is like listening to the album for the first time again. I can't imagine the work that went into this and shows some genuinely exceptional musicianship. As goofy as it all really is. Well done!

The first two songs I ever heard from this album were Shame in You and God Am. Loved how the whole album turned out.

Man, I’m glad your AIC Mario 64 covers blew up the way they did. You’re one of the few who adds touches of serious quality to these, like the Wario quote at the start. Most of them in the wild are so lazy.
As someone who spends over an hour per song improving the notes, volume balance n effects on every MIDI before uploading them, I like seeing the people who actually try succeed. (I can’t be the only one who noticed most Mario 64 MIDI remixes out there sound awful, right?)
The kind words are very appreciated! I’ve definitely seen my fair share of lazy soundfont vids but that just makes me appreciate the good ones even more. Your stuff is easily some of the best out there so keep up the awesome work yourself!
Brush Away sounds great; the level of groove between some of those parts was just out of this world!
(I've been working on some Bob Marley sm64 soundfont Covers for fun that I might post on this account or a new YT channel. The only problem is that I've made an instrumental version and one with vocals and I don't know if I wanna stick with the meme format of instrumental or break the mold by posting the remix version with isolated og Bob Marley.)

Could you release all the midi files you made for this? I love play along to songs and do covers that I never release and I use midi drums to do that but a lot of these songs dont have any good midi files I can find
