These albums with SM64 soundfont shows that real music isn't just a good beat with strong bass. It's the melodies. You can still feel the sadness of this masterpiece of an album, Nutshell's vocal, guitar and bass melodies sounding haunting as always. I'm speechless, cause i freaking love this album. And the "No Excuses" drum intro was incredible, very creative.
I’ve gotta thank you. First off hearing it brings me back to hearing jar of flies for the first time, and it’s almost like a lullaby and my newborn son loves it. It’s a way to get him into it early
Bro, just the fact that you don't have at least 10k subscribers while some dumb YT short "creators" have around a couple million is nothing short of a criminal sin. You work so hard on these and definitely earned a sub. Is there any way you could do this maybe with Pink Floyd? 😃
Holy fuck I Stay Away is mind blowing like this. You’ve done some incredible work here. I tip my hat and am grateful I exist in a universe where this exists. Thank you 🙏.
this is fantastic. i loved your other two "Peach in Chains" covers and was excited for Jar of Flies. i seen others try to copy your homework but after hearing "No Excuses" i know yours is the definite version 🧡
This is a masterpiece, incredible work here and with album art too. Same goes for the others, but Jar of Flies is still my favourite. Listening to these really made me more appreciate the musical talent these guys had.
I stay away and no excuses are so good on this one, I love hearing the old Melodies on the new format and it shows just how good of songwriters they were if it can still evoke a smile or an emotional response
It's great to see you improve, dude! There were some problems with translating the vocal parts of the melody in your previous AiC efforts and some instrument choices for Facelift were questionable ( for me at least). So to say that I was pleased, when I opened the video is an understatement, keep up the good work!
Just a heads-up: "No Excuses" (N64) is a half-step higher than it is on the album version by AIC. Not a huge deal, just worth noting. If anyone's wondering why it sounds a bit strange, that's why. There's a browser extension called Transpose (yellow logo with up and down arrows). Checked myself cause I was like, "Holup... it sounds right, but why does it sound.. weeeeird?"
