For giving away the tracks you will need to pay at least the licensing, even if it's free. I know this because when I did my album there were some tracks by living composers and there were minimum licenses to buy to produce digital and physical media, and the crazy thing was technically the licenses had an expiry and needed to be renewed. So if you paid for 1000 licenses and they weren't used, the next year they had to be renewed, but if you went over you needed to pay more. I would love to hear what Kid A has in store for you.
At first I was like “oh cool. This is funny”. And by track 3, I was telling a friend “This is genuinely beautiful”. Well done! Also love the use of the *real* rhythm on Videotape. 🙌
I never usually comment on things but this is just one of the best things on youtube. There is no aspect of this that misses, every little detail absolutely slaps. Thanks for putting in the effort for this remake it honestly feels like listening to the album for the first time again.
I remember listening to this album in 2007 while having to ride a bus with the high school band to Washington DC. It was 11 pm on a highway somewhere in North Indiana. It gave my chills and In Rainbows is my favorite Radiohead album!
born too early to explore the stars
born too late to explore the world
born just in time to experience this absolute peak
Inspired madness.
HO. LY. SHIT.
I cried on Nude already, goddamn.
Astounding job done, mate. I could've donated, but I'm from Russia, so I can't do that, sadly :(
I am just shocked by the quality of this project. It's like I've listened to In Rainbows for the first time. Thank you
Nude is so good in this sound font its already one of my favorite radiohead songs but hearing it like this its surreal how it still kind of sounds like normal but still different enough to make it feel like its own thing. Also i just clicked on this expecting it to be something stupid i could laugh at but no this is something i genuinely might come back and listen to because its just good so thanks on4word for making this.
The ending notes of Nude are just as beautiful as they are on the original album. It made me laugh that a Mario 64 rendition of a song made me tear up. Well done
The bridge in bodysnatchers is giving me full body shivers rn? This is f*cking incredible.
Holy cow. This could have gone down the winky/jokey route, but it’s a legitimate presentation of the material in what turns out to be a legitimate medium. Bravo.
