@@lzup407 I bought it the Friday after it was released, still have it to this day. It is the 90's rock soundtrack. AIC was to the 90s what Led Zepplin was to the 70s. Both heavy and melodic with amazing musicians and composers. Both were extremely versatile.
I was lucky enough to see them up close at the Aragon Ballroom 30 years ago. Layne was pissed after he dove into the mosh pit and almost got his balls ripped off. I didn't do it! The high notes got a little easier for him.
AIC are fkn awesome. As a teen I listened to a handful of their music and appreciated them as cool rock/grunge band, as an adult I have delved much deeper into their catalogue and consider them one of the great metal/rock/alt bands of their time.
Nutshell has no right to sound this good on this soundfont lol. I love it. The fucking bassline is *chef's kiss* and I'm honestly surprised at how good a lot of this turned out, given a lot of the effects on some of the techniques applied in some songs. Like the ending bit of Nutshell's solo with the legato. Wasn't expecting it to get that. This and the Facelift one are just great. It still amazes me how well grunge sounds on this. Wonder if it has anything to do with the fact they were both a product of the same decade?
I used to listen to Nutshell in my darkest times. Those one step away moments. This version is the 1st I've listened to it in a year or 2. Thank you. You made it easier to enjoy again.

Man this version of Nutshell, doesn’t break me as much as the original song does it sounds more hopeful, and upbeat because of the drums, and the grand feel of the Mario 64, soundfont, plus no Layne vocals, I think one of nutshell in the style of Undertale, or Final Fantasy 7, would make me really emotional. Hahaha that one part in i stay away is hilarious sounds like bowser is choking lol strange for this downer album to be funny in anyway.

If all the 90's Alice in Chains albums are done or soon to be done, I highly recommend Ten (Pearl Jam), Purple (Stone Temple Pilots), Mellon Collie (Smashing Pumpkins, though it is long), and Rubberneck (Toadies). I think all have potential in this style. Also, would be cool if someone did Doolittle (Pixies) in this style.
I love how all of these videos have an "inspired by" link in the description. I did No Excuses in the Majora's Mask soundfont and mine has one, too, lol.
@@Subvivth Ah, I actually sorta cheated there. I opened a model of Majora's Mask in Blender, slapped in a couple of colored lights and used that instead of a regular photo of the mask. The only real work I did in photoshop was blurring the mask and erasing where the jar is, lol.
