Where are the 10 foot-tall (out of armour), one-Space-Marine-per-planet-in-the-whole-Imperium, *Trans-Human Giants engineered by a living god*, capable of running at 200kph, capable of moving so fast their merely-mortal enemies are literally paralysed with *Trans-Human Dread?* Warriors capable single-handedly devastating current-day armies, blazing away with 100kg guns, firing super-sonic, armour-piercing, mass-reactive Bolts more powerful than current-day RPGs? Warriors who laugh at the concept of camouflage, who paint their armour bright colours, so their enemies can see them, and know how badly they're about to lose? Warriors that can stand in the middle of a hundred men firing machine-guns, and laugh as it scratches the paint on a suit of armour worth more than New York city? Where are the century-old war-gods *physically incapable of feeling fear*, who read people's minds by literally *eating their brains?* Who are capable of acid-spitting through a tank's hull? Warriors that see a one-shot-one-kill approach to war as a profound waste of ammunition?
I agree that the power of the Space Marines has been underplayed in the games, but so has the power of the other races. Comparing them to modern day warfare, how do you think a Warp Spider or a Chaos Sorcerer would do in New York? Just as well as a space marine. No matter the fluff in the games and comics, space marines are usually evenly matched. Hell, if the eldar weren't all but extinct there wouldn't even be a 'humanity' anymore, and if the necrons all woke up there would be no life. Ever wondered if maybe the Tyranid hive fleets are just scouting forces? They enter on different areas of the galaxy's rim, so they've already encircled it. Space marines are badass, but only because they have to be and it's a desperate fight.

If you really go through the lore they make out every faction to be the most powerful thing in the universe. On paper they are all OP, even the guard, and that's why it leads to disappointment in video games and movies, because when everyone is OP nobody is.
Warhammer 40,000 is probably the coolest science fiction universe there is. The sheer scale of it is kind of breathtaking when you start to think about it. It's a universe where a laser rifle has about the same threat level that a high-powered civilian laser has today.
Relic has produced the games, THQ was only the publisher. Relic is now owned by Sega, and I think they will make Dawn of War 3 when they are finished with Company of Heroes 2 addons. They have the license, and I don't think they will just let the expensive license lay there until it is useless.
For all those who are asking me about next video about 40k - yes it's in the works! Personally I don't expect it will best previous one but you all will be judges of that. Thank you for your comments and thoughts!

Maybe we had biggest growth in community and so called new golden era from late 2010s to early 2020s but this is not the same. Gatekeeping was good. I think that if they actually made a WH40k movie, it should be of the Eisenhorn trilogy by Dan Abnett (if you have not read it you should, it is amazing) . those of you who have read it, please agree with me. Can you not see the opening with Eisenhorn killing Eyeclone? Can you not see how epic the movie would be?! Anyway any Wh40k movie would have to have an insane budget and a good director. Oh and most of the time they are stuck defending ultramar and playing politics. And my final ranting, smurfs never won major battles alone...

I used to feel the same way about the Ultramaries as you do. But then I read a book called "Know No Fear" by Dan Abnett. It is about the Battle of Calth during the Horus Heresy, and it is very good! The Ultramarines used to be great, with some propper writing they could be so again.
I really like your ending comment, although from my limited knowledge of 40k I'm pretty sure Blood Ravens and Ultramarines are supposed to be on par with each other- but that sort of line could make for a really awesome inspiring speech in another situation (more analogous to Space Marines/Guardsmen): There's this legend about super-powerful elite warriors as a bulwark against the enemy, and the ordinary soldiers have no idea where they are or even if there are any left, and you get an inspiring speech "Those guys aren't here right now, WE are here, and WE are the ones who will form the bastion against chaos".
Honestly, I think the best "introduction" to 40k for the common audience would be Dan Abnett's "Gaunt's Ghosts" presented in a format similar to "Band of Brothers". It gives a very gritty, easy to identify with and dramatic introduction to the universe in a way befitting of the background. Abnett makes a good point in his foreword to "The Founding" omnibus - he reckons Marines are harder to write and identify with, so rather start with the poor bloody guardsmen...
An Ork, Space Marine and Eldar are walking down the road. They see a Chaos portal that has a sign on it. It says: 'say what is true or be sucked in'. The Space Marine says: "I think I'm the bravest" and walks past safely, the Eldar says: "I think I'm the most agile" and walks past safely. The Ork says: "I thinks..." and gets sucked into the portal.
They are! DoW2 Elite mod - look it up. It's so well made it's become like a proper expansion of the game, and it's worked on by a great player so the additions (new units for all races) are well balanced too.
While this video is cool for being a collection of quotes, lines & scenes from the Dawn of War games (for the most part) used in it, the overall 'story' and continuity of having a story for the trailer like an actual movie trailer would is almost none existent. But it's still cool to see and fun to watch & listen to. :) It definitely makes me want to go watch all the ingame story and cutscenes from the Dawn of War 2 series that most of this is pulled from.
the design of the game and characters are really great and awesome i always imagine a space empire or kingdom but it would be great if there would be someone will decide that it about time to make a action figure out of this the designs and concept of this game is great atleast some one will make some 6-9 inch line of this game in action figure

I really like your ending comment, although from my limited knowledge of 40k I'm pretty sure Blood Ravens and Ultramarines are supposed to be on par with each other- but that sort of line could make for a really awesome inspiring speech in another situation (more analogous to Space Marines/Guardsmen): There's this legend about super-powerful elite warriors as a bulwark against the enemy, and the ordinary soldiers have no idea where they are or even if there are any left, and you get an inspiring speech "Those guys aren't here right now, WE are here, and WE are the ones who will form the bastion against chaos".

Honestly, I think the best "introduction" to 40k for the common audience would be Dan Abnett's "Gaunt's Ghosts" presented in a format similar to "Band of Brothers". It gives a very gritty, easy to identify with and dramatic introduction to the universe in a way befitting of the background.
Abnett makes a good point in his foreword to "The Founding" omnibus - he reckons Marines are harder to write and identify with, so rather start with the poor bloody guardsmen...

An Ork, Space Marine and Eldar are walking down the road. They see a Chaos portal that has a sign on it. It says: 'say what is true or be sucked in'. The Space Marine says: "I think I'm the bravest" and walks past safely, the Eldar says: "I think I'm the most agile" and walks past safely. The Ork says: "I thinks..." and gets sucked into the portal.

They are! DoW2 Elite mod - look it up. It's so well made it's become like a proper expansion of the game, and it's worked on by a great player so the additions (new units for all races) are well balanced too.
Hahahaa the cool thing is that music comes from mass effect games, that have their own kind of space marines.

While this video is cool for being a collection of quotes, lines & scenes from the Dawn of War games (for the most part) used in it, the overall 'story' and continuity of having a story for the trailer like an actual movie trailer would is almost none existent. But it's still cool to see and fun to watch & listen to. :) It definitely makes me want to go watch all the ingame story and cutscenes from the Dawn of War 2 series that most of this is pulled from.

the design of the game and characters are really great and awesome i always imagine a space empire or kingdom but it would be great if there would be someone will decide that it about time to make a action figure out of this the designs and concept of this game is great atleast some one will make some 6-9 inch line of this game in action figure
Well, Warhammer 40k started (and still is) a tabletop game. The PC-games are just based on the Warhammer 40k-universe, which exists since 1987. So there are figures. Many figures.
What I want is a Starship Troopers style 40K movie.
