I got all the different types of 3" Barkley one of each they work great but I paid $5.67 at Walmart 2024 world everything went up. Crazy fast
The first cast ever on this lure I caught a 25” Northern Pike. This Pike just leaped out of the water. He just nailed. He wanted to kill this lure with all of his energy. This was a once use lure. The Pike tore it to pieces.
They r really soft sometimes.
Nice fish man!👍👊🎣
All Over The Lake thank you! ☝️👍🎣
Lesson of the day bring net always to the spillway especially for the big drums
Nicholas Pouliot Outdoors yes! I was with my dad so my net was in my car... had fish grips lol. Went back next day with a net
I just picked up a pack of these at Walmart I got the swim shad flavor. Looking forward to using these in 2022! I am in Michigan by the way.
I’m out and need another pack myself!
I just picked up some of these! Love the content bud! Got a sub from Oklahoma 🔥
Thank you I appreciate it! They’re an awesome bait! Good luck out there!
I like those baits I like the creme ones better the white ones but they are good to . Man I been hoping to catch a big striper there they are there seen a few pulled out great review brother congrats on your pb
Thanks! I’m waiting to pull a striped in as well!
Bonfire! What's going on man! New subscriber here! Great episode man those were good big catches with those Asian carp! Great episode I loved it! Keep on getting down!
Thanks man!!
Yes please do Carlyle more often I know it's getting cold but next spring and summer and evening hot summer nights down there are the best
I use these, I seem to like the rainbow trout looking ones the best. Bass and walleye SLAM those baits, and you can run them in rocks and jig em on the bottom too
Caught with out a net, damn. I do a lot of creek fishing and still use 8 lb test. Got tooo many surprises. lol I wouldn't try a river or lake with 8 lb.
so you just snagged fish with it ?
The firetiger pogy swim shad is great for walley. You can drag them without getting snags.
That one has been good too! Thanks for watching!
What brand of line and size?
Ohh I don’t remember... this video was almost a whole year ago :/
We catfish down there do u guys ever catch cats down there
so cheap in us, we pay about 9 usd in New Zealand for same lure.
That’s insane! Walmart has it cheap. The bait shops and tackle stores here are like $5
@@bonfirefishing that's bc you're giving your money to China when you buy from Walmart. Shop local
For small mouth i had choice of 3 inch or 5 i chose the 3 inch because their is not alot of fish ect i want to just catch any size is 5 better of 3 enough i see you caught monsters with 3
Lol yeah! I like smaller because it catches numbers. I’ve been using these for years and my new biggest is 6.5 pounds on the 3.8 inch one! All my very large fish come on smaller lures!
@@bonfirefishing wow i fish a place were small mouth were put illegally they hate every thing use to be full of brookies and perch now its all empty i never caught one but i seen some surface gosh the are hard to catch i have the 3 inch in perch colour i think my metal leader may scare them anyway thanks dude i will deff sub
@@palisicky awesome thank you! I’ve only caught two smallmouth in my life but go out there and use 6-8lb fluorocarbon Lin will a tiny swimbait or a Ned rig. If u watch FLW on Instagram, the top few people are SLAYING them right now with those lures!
@@bonfirefishing i use 20 lbs line because if a musky comes because their is also musky but these bass have never been fished nobody fishes them they prob aren’t that line shy thanks dude
@@palisicky yep no problem! Muskies are moofun anyways lmao
That’s not a spincast. It’s just a spinning reel. A spincast of like a closed top zebco reel.
$ 2.96. Not 2.69. 😁
Remember don’t lay live fish on rocks and always wet hand before touching.
The Asian Carp were killed. I do not wet my hands unless they are trout. I know I should but I personally do not.
@@bonfirefishing I know I should but I don't.. 🤔
I'm new to fishing, is it cause the rocks are hot? All I could find on the internet about fish and rocks were some rocks may have parasites on them. Also, what's with the wetting of the hand before touching? Inquiring minds want to know. Thanks!
The baits are actually $2.96
Caught my first large mouth on one of those swim bait
Man they’re awesome!!!
@@bonfirefishing bro it was 21 inches idk how many pounds but it busted a 10lb test line when I was about to land it, had to climb in the water almost to lip it out
@@mrstackracks1189 same with me! Except it snapped
Mine cost me $5 per pack
Wow that’s pricey. I bought another pack last week for $3
@@bonfirefishing do they work well I bought the same ones you have
@@jda3comics693 well I bought another pack lol
@@bonfirefishing so I take it they work then my favorite lures this summer was strike king rage craws and yums I got bass on those this summer
@@jda3comics693 yup! Good choices too!
Nice day out but the video showed you foul hooking them. So really didn’t show what the swim shad can really do with this one.🤷🏽♂️
Today these are $6
Have a NET... Basic hydraulics Man. Too many of these videos...
Yes!! That was my first time catching an Asian Carp and had no idea on them. If you watch my other videos of me at the spillway after this one came out, I have a net by me at all times lol. Thanks for watching!!
kill it, they eat everything. i'm a catch and release guy. anything i kill I eat but I'm not eating that asian carp although I hear they are tasty and will soon be in most of your fish sticks ans cat food.
Asian carp are tasty!
