Hoi An is an absolute delight, thank you Mr David Khai for sharing your adventures! I have wonderful memories of my visits there. Keep your vlog’s coming!!! 🇻🇳👍
Wow you're famous meeting fans out in the wild. Your videos haven't been showing up in my feed, was wondering where your videos are since you've been updating with pictures on the gram. Gotta catch up with the new vids!
Oh ... Hoi An! It has been dubbed the city of lantern, the most beautiful city in the world, the Venice of the East, a living museum, a fairy tale destination ... Whatever it is, Hoi An is "one of those places that conjures up daydreams of an ideal far away land - exotic, beautiful, and seemingly right out of a fairy tale." The beautiful, enchanting, colorful town makes you feel like you are taking a step back in time. As the moment you stepped into Hoi An, it felt like a book of ancient fairy tales came to life. The ancient city is breathtaking by day, but it really comes to life by night when the streets are lit up with beautiful lanterns. It's quite spectacular to see in person. Hoi An is a magical place. Just go and see this place . . . there is no equal globally.
I asked if i could drink my beer upstairs in a cafe in Hoi An and they let me but it became pretty evident upstairs belonged to an old uncle and I was sitting on his private balcony after walking through his living space. No hesitation, they just let me go up there. I felt rude and apologised and went back down pretty quick but wow, the people are so accommodating. Same all over Vietnam.
About 1 year ago u come to Malaysia my country,u smoke very expensive cigar in KLCC and u buy raben class ..pliss after Vietnam come to Malaysia again ok..make video in street food market..so delicous food❤❤❤❤
i loved Hoi an when i was there, and especially those aunties that sell on the beach lol But i must say those so called famous white rose dumplings are crap, or were when i tried some haha
Haven't been to Hoi An but planning to head there when we go to Vietnam (again) in April. It looks, well, overly touristy, almost suffocatingly so. Am I wrong? Would Quy Nhon be a better option?
It is a tourist destination. It has busy times. However it is an amazing beautiful township and to miss out because you are worried about other tourists would be a mistake. I hope to return one day but I may not be lucky enough.
Hoi A was awesome 12 years ago, when i first visited. I have visited every year since then and ever since covid it is definitely not the same as before. Tons of tourist, definitely over running Old Town HoiAn. My wife and I still love it there, but definitely not the same, as it was years ago.
It’s definitely super touristy these days, but I think still worth the visit. If you stay the night it might be good, mornings are quiet and you can take your time and night when it is busy without rushing. Quy Nhon is definitely a great non touristy spot, but different to Hoi An
Hey Buddy are you still in Hội An ? I’m a Viet Kieu whose move here about 2 years ago… I built a villa across from An Bang beach. Let me know if you want to meet up
I'm surprised you say with so much certainty that Banh Mi Phuong is the best 😅 I can't choose between Phuong and Madam Khanh , it's like choosing between mom and dad 😂
She said 100k is super sale for you COMMON average Vietnamese worker earns ONLY 200K/day. That thing cost about 20K max. So she quintuple (5 times) the price, it's bussiness (no problem) but just don't lie about it that 100k is a SUPER sale for him.
Every time I visit Hoi An, I just feel happy for no reason. There is nothing like that.

The second waitress too
So sweet she robbed his ass for 100k 😂
@@RogerDat00 It would have been $200k Dong if he didn’t speak Viet. You can get those stuffs much cheaper at Claire in US.
Awesome video 👏👏 love your video's 🙏
Another great video Mate.
The crunch on the banh mi baguette - can almost taste it by the sound.
I was there a month ago. Love Hoi an.
Hoi An is a beautiful place, would definitely be back once I visit Da Nang again.

Mate ❤️ your vlogs, stayed at Danang & Hoi Ah beach in June!
Thinking how can we live there…

Wow accomodating but strange haha
Bro you lucky you went to the beach in Hawaii and went there and I didn’t even know they had one didn’t even know it existed gotta go again.
7 quid boat tour is quite expensive
Hoi An is quite touristy so defs higher prices

In Hoi An, I personally prefer Bánh Mì Madam Khánh over Bánh Mì Phượng.
You are so kind to buy one of the lady's bracelet. These older people need help, they are so poor.
She would charge a Viet that can't speak Vietnamese like myself extra 😂. You're recognize as the Viet that loses things now all over Vietnam.😆
That happens everywhere, where you do not speak the local language.
As far as I know, the Hoi An lantern paper is biodegradable.

Even though Hoi An is touristy, the cost of living there is surprisingly affordable. Also, the food is absolutely delicious and the air is clean.

Just want to be first to comment on your new video. I have no comment. Go David!
Very nice city of Hoi An.
How well do google maps or Apple Maps work in rural areas?
Google maps works great, I never use apple. Only thing is that a store might now be open at the time it says or still be there, but happens rarely

I’ve never had a bad banh mi at Phuong, and have had at madam khanh, so makes my decision easy haha

She ll be saved once settled with him in vietnam
is everyone called aunty and uncle or is it only if there older than you? then you have to guess age😂
Yeah pretty much if there older to a certain point, then we use other phrases. One reason I don’t like the language at times 😅
At the Reaching Out, "thanh toán" = tính tiền = tt's time to pay = the bill, please = check, please
2ooK? That's a huge asking price, isn't it...
Probably a little bit for sure, but they’re made for groups and you’d split it I say
Maybe wear a sweatband or towel around your neck..
Do you meet frequent YT viewers that recognize u?
Here and there, not a crazily amount tho
