    I think the scariest part of prison is the possibility of catching new charges inside because of doing shit you have to do to survive.
    Edit: When I wrote this, I was looking down the barrel at 10 years for crimes I wasn't guilty of (someone tried to seriously hurt me and they got hurt instead, no witnesses). After multiple years of insanity inducing stress and getting f***ed around by the system ("right to a speedy trial" is a joke), I successfully made my case at trial and can finally let go of this fear.

    I’ve been hit blind like that and had the a similar thing happen as to that coco guy. Because you don’t see the punch coming you don’t flinch and all of the force goes right into where it lands. I got hit just under my right eye: cracked my cheekbone, shattered the shell behind my eyeball, which tore a hole in my cranium. My eye was filled with blood for a month, I had brain fluid leaking from my nose, couldn’t talk properly at times, dizziness, couldn’t be outside because the sun hurt my eyes, and I started having vivid dreams.
    Doctor literally told me that there was shit they could do about any of it.
    Turns out dude mistook me for another guy. Cops got called, accosted me at my home the next day and told me not to do anything stupid and that they would handle it.
    Bitches didn’t handle shit other than making it clear they would know exactly where to go if the guy had an accident.

Its crazy to, because Cali seems to be so liberal and lax on laws, except for their inmates - I have known guys out here on the East Coast who go in for 2-3 years and only get a few months added for violent assaults and such. I might be wrong but Cali seems to want to keep these guys in forever. If there ever was an example of the prison industrial complex, CA would be it.

Just being 100% real true to himself and about himself, and nowadays, that's rare. And that's what I strive to be in life as well, just be real, just be exactly how I am and not feel the need to lie or front about nothing. And if someone doesn't like me for who or what I am, then I don't need them in my life anyway. Plenty of fakes come and go, but the sooner they go the better.

    I haven’t seen none of this dude’s other videos but damn this guy is 100% real. In reception there were two white boys who one had no paperwork, and the other had bad paperwork (elder abuse). Each one got the shit beat out of them by their counties. I never caused problems and I still got my ass beat over a card game by somebody who called me out over a miscount I had already corrected. He wasn’t the scariest dude ever as described in the video, but he was no smaller. He expected me to roll it up but I went to his cell and got knocked the f out. My lips busted open, chipped a tooth, split my head open. He was surprised and I think just expected me to roll it up so he wouldn’t have as strong of a poker competitor. After I was helped to the shower to clean myself up (open day room, level-three cell living). We fought right at the top of the hour when his unlock happened in his cell before they got back around to close the doors after unlocking the top tier. I could either go to the cops and later get my ass beat for the rest of my term by people seeing me as an easy target. Or I could fight the guy twice my size who I know will definitely fuck me up but people will see that I’m not an easy target and will fight to defend my own. So I got knocked the fuck out. Afterwards as I was cleaning myself up the guy came up and gave me a fist bump and said, “Hey, it’s all love” (people in prison use that term generously). I said, “No, it’s not. But you got me, no need for us to say anything more about it.” So, he said alright and we left it at that. I had to stay in my cell for a few days before I could let the guards see any injury to me, wearing a beanie so they wouldn’t see the cut above my eyebrow during count times. A few days later when some healing had taken place I could write it off as injury that happened when I slipped in my cell working out, which they have no other evidence to question it as it wasn’t severe enough to warrant investigating all the other inmates in the block. A couple days after that I returned to the poker table with the condition that I would no longer be the banker for the table when my turn would come up. A month later I transferred but the story followed me and that was the last fight I got into for the remaining three years of my term.

    I see Wes on Instagram every day now and it is crazy how much he has changed. I used to watch all of his first year RUclips videos but bought a small farm 27 months ago and life got busier than I expected.
    So just in the past 6 months have I caught back up with some of the people I used to follow and they have all really changed in one way or another.
    Except Captain Drone, he is still about the same with the same style Remote Control hobby videos.

      So he says stick to your own race but dosnt say anything about being forced to join gangs. Any suggestions for me if I had to go ? I was in jail it was no big deal but prison sounds scary at least state prisons on the west coast. Low level feds sound manageable. I beat a aggravated assault case I heard the prisons for violent offenders are worse which just sounds terrible honestly I'll admit it. Any advice

    • @dennisdmenace6249
      @dennisdmenace6249 4 года назад +14

      UGA 4EVER This man definitely knows what he’s talking about. I did a dozen years for manslaughter, and wrapped up 28 years ago. Gangs were not so prevalent in the 80s in Massachusetts prisons, But you still have the Aryan brotherhood, the Sunni Muslim brotherhood and other groups. I shanked the biggest black dude in one of the prisons, they had my ass back in Walpole in under three hours. About half a dozen white dudes came to my cell and said “you’re with us.” They claimed to be the Aryan brotherhood, and I knew I had no choice. You do what you have to do to survive, and these men made sure I was not a medal on some black dude’s chest. Like I said, I’ve been out for 28 years, and gangs seem to be everything now. Take this man’s advice, and be allegiant to those that are allegiant to you… Otherwise, you may not make it out.
      P.S..... don’t ever compare jail to prison. In jail, they are all small timers. In prison, as much as 3/4 of the population is facing life. The smallest sign of disrespect Can cost you your life.
