Honestly the way he fixes his vest after certain moves was just the greatest bit of detail they added to a character.
I love that 💩. It's all thanks to the ideas they got from them making M-O-T-W.🐺🌖🐺

It's Robert from King of Fighters! But for real though this man needs the vest back. It's was cooler than him popping his collar.
Nothing's ever wrong with the original. But I am fond of his switch ups I clothing. It be dope if they had him in his karate gear from 00'(Only seen when he's used as a ⚡Striker⚡).
Yeah but i still say no to both outfits... The thing is he was meant to change outfits more often. Not like Athena but still more than average. And that was working for some time. This is the original Aof outfit, but he changed it in Aof3, which then was used in KoF 96-98. And he changed again in 99, and again in 03, and again in 11. Then KoF 13 wanted to exploit the nostalgia too hard and gave him the original Aof outfit... but the most correct action was actually make a brand new outfit. Then in 14 he got a new one, reused in 15.
And i dont know what to expect about future games... if the devs want to make outfits repetitive from now on, or if this is just the average level of repetition (2-3 games) and he will get a new one soon. I dont know how "Oda's KoF era" (since 14) is willing to respect traditions. But anyways the most correct action is giving him a new outfit.
Now what is ok to do is making the original Aof outfit an alternative outfit. Stop making nostalgic throwbacks with default designs and simply use alts for that Like classic outfit options given by SF, MK, TK, etc. This is a modern fg, it needed to have alt options in fact. Even KoF MI had multiple alts for every char.
You might already know this fun fact,@@carlosaugusto9821. But when the saga(s) of M-I dropped, it was 2nd place in verse game of the year reward. It only lost to Tekken 5: R because it wake 3-D enough(Mainly because their background really was just 2-D)😅. I'll still debate till this day, that those versions of K-O-F was WAY ahead of it's time. Even if one were to compare it to XV.

My group called Robert the secret main character because Robert is usually pretty good or at least usable in the KoFs people play. 95, 97&98, 02, XI, XIII, and XV.
Also in 2003 much people use him
He's apart of mi main team from 95'-XV. So he'll always be dangerous.
That's easily the most dangerous version of Mr Garcia, ever, @@bullgod1837. If not top 5. He has almost no slow recovery from all/most of his special moves.

This is the Robert I remember the most. Not sure why he went through a whole re-design phase at one point when he was literally perfect already.
They been off & on switching up his looks since as far back as 00'(⚡Striker⚡ version of Serious Robert I believe it's called). His most noticeable change is him in XI/Neo Geo Battle Coliseum. Original will always be fly as 💩, but his clothing switch up is something special.
@DanKen139 I don't particularly mind the clothing swaps. I think his look from AoF 3 is great; still looked like Robert but with a different kind of style.
I'm definitely not a fan of his XI design, though. Same with XV, he just looks like a different character entirely.
Because that's one common artistic approach of SNK, that makes the the staff much more artistically richer than SF devs. That creative movement just isnt as consistent as that in MK, but besides that KoF has more redesigns than all other big fg franchises. Even minor chars like Kensou and Chin have changed looks more Ryu and Ken, who are from an older franchise. In SF the laziness only stopped in the latest games... but im glad it finally happened.
@@DanKen139 Robert started changing in 96, using the new outfit from Aof3, released the same year. Then in 99, then 03, then 11 (originally from NGBC), then 14. Its basically a gimmick for him, just not as often as Athena's case.

Can't believe I forgot about his first switch up in 96'... & K-O-F have definitely always been detailed in terms of more noticeable changes with the overall looks of they're characters compared to S-F. Especially with their default wear. That's probably one of the reasons why they been offering new outfits since S-F 4.

Nothing's ever wrong with the original team. I've learned to never to Yuri. Especially for XIII. She applies the most pressure out of all the Kyokugenru Karate users for 13, if used correctly.
The gold raging tiger still be having those flashy big combos. 😎👍🏾🎮

I'm still amazed and annoyed Robert wasn't in any of the Capcom/SNK crossovers. Robert and Ken need to meet one another.
I think they wanted to avoid full, original teams from K-O-F as much as possible being on a cross over with Capcom. The 94'/95' Female Fighting Team was the only exception. It would've been awesome though for sure.
I also wished it happened, but the SNK fg world is much bigger than Capcom fg world. Its pretty hard to make a satisfying roster. And the CvS2 roster even tried to be broad, and still isnt that good.

My fave version of the character or at least 2nd fave next to 2k2 then 15
I trained with Robert the most in 00'. His best 180° switch ups was 03' & XI/N-G-B-C. His "Hien Shippu Kyaku" had the best frame & input for 01", & the most versatile versions of our guy is 02' U-M and 98' U-M, since you could choice Btw. 2 different Roberts.

😌I believe in one/few of the trail combos in XIII, they display this tactic as well.
The other half greatness excellent and the days of that Ferrari were great and still are now to wait for the all-time powerful leader of the team legendary Takuma sakazaki the legendary Mr karate 1 sho hayate from savage reign is watching in the background excellent release to be A Hero team and villain team from the series added to the King of fighters sooner or later again

Robert was NEVER picked up at EVO when XIII was in spot.
😂Evo isn't the only main tournament though. On top of that, it's limited to like literally 2 countries. Putting they aside.. The reason being is cause it's a different between a true love for the game, & just simply wanting to win. A ton of humans(Especially in tournaments)always aim for the sure way to win. It's TOO many obvious signs that all seen for ourselves to confirm this. Whereas though the small few stick it out with their characters to whom they actually love go matter what & wasn't just aiming for the win.
