This seems like quite a solid system, being able to be detached and reconnected with ease. I'm impressed that it's only $30 on Amazon, too. Wonder if it would work with the HP Reverb G2 or Decagear 1.
This is a great idea for small DIY home workshops too... case in point ..dragging a mobile dust extraction system around the room to various tools... rather than get the long power cable caught on the floor or caught around other equipment and then tripping over it, mount the cable over head and out of the way.... brilliant. Might not suit all workshops, but will sure has henry it'll work in mine 😊 Thanks Kiwi VR.👍🏻
I bought a set for my Rift S... The pulley system does indeed do the job but be aware I also found it easy to get carried away with turning and on occasion found my cable to be very badly twisted above my head..My Rift failed on me after having it only 6 months.. Can't help wondering if the pulley system and my turning caused this
@@VRGRID Hey Chris..Cheers for replying.I did all of this especially detaching the headset to let it unwind.. Had no choice because often in one gaming session I would spin a lot.. Suffice to say when I finally get my new headset I won't be risking the cable with a pulley system again

Since I don't turn around IRL when using PSVR , maybe not as much a hassle. I use a headphone wire clip to attach the PSVR cable to my shirt so the wire doesn't tug at the headset, just my shirt which is much less noticeable. Also, I can route cable out of way easily on PSVR.. usually keeping my calf muscles against the sofa to keep my bearings.
I would really like to know how different these feel if you use them without building the triangle. At the moment my cable hangs on static hooks which is not ideal in the long run, but I could just use 2-3 of these pulleys, attach them to the already installed hooks and call it a day. Is there any noticeable benefit from building the ring instead of just using one final pulley?
Those Gluey Things really hold up to any Challenge. I used 4 to glue my giant Lamp to the Ceiling...
My wife would hang me from a cable if I put that on our roof. 😂 Looks good though.
Sucks you don’t have a wife that support your hobbies lol
As an electrician I gotta tell you that conductor organization for your breaker box does so good for my nerves lol
Nice Bat'leth that you have in your future VR studio.

The Ahsive hooks... i misplaced one and tried to take it off. It took part of the wall with it. They are holding up my Bhaptic gear as well.

15 seconds in, dude is wearing an oculus Go using kiwi pulleys.....wtf is the point? LOL
I saw that too and was laughing. I wonder if it is some other headset that is made for a specific region. Coulda been the Pico Neo 1 maybe?
The Waffle house had found it's new host.
The future is wireless, so these are nothing but shit.
