After struggle with wifi configurations, dedicated router and other things at the end there is always some lag even if is small it bother a lot so I prefer always cable for PCVR with Quest 3 but I faced this issue to the cable in the floor and step on the cable. I just ordered a VR pulley system and cannot wait to install it and looks the proper way is this triangle option Thanks for your video
Does anyone know if the durability of the cable/attachment is an issue? I don't mind the cable being there, it just concerns me, if it's getting pulled occasionally, eventually that part gives out?
@@ItsSamuelJones well i guess not all the weight, but a 20% weight reduction would be neat. Something to keep weight off the front part unless that does it already, which is something to consider; like extra trackers
Nice! I loath being tethered. It's that barrier, aka immersion breaker that nearly destroys stand up VR, and it even manages to bother me for sit down as well. Now what about the small finicky sweet spot thanks to those awful fresnel lenses, and High motion persistence OLED display? lol Nothing you can do about either. Sony shot themselves in the foot with this thing, for multiple reasons > Tethered, Bulky front visor, No pancake lenses for wide sweet spot, chunky cumbersome ring'd controllers, it's also a little front-heavy around the nose and uncomfortable(Never had this issue with PSVR1) and it's display produces too much head movement blur at reasonable brightness levels. To get the best motion clarity(2ms persistence) you have to drop the VR brightness slider down to zero, but then you're only left with a miserable dim and bleak 60nits of brightness. 4th point gets you 110nits(comparable to Quest 2) but at a noticeably higher persistence. You're essentially trading motion for brightness with each click forward... Quest 2 has zero head movement blur(1ms persistence like a CRT) @100 nits. I would of gladly taken that over the mess that is Sony's VR2 oled display. Such a conflicting headset. But my god is Resident Evil: Village incredible. It's THE reason why i'm holding on to it, including RE4: VR mode, possible Astro bot port or sequel and whatever else.
so i gotta buy an adapter for pc games, i gotta buy a magsafe to protect my port, and i gotta buy a damn pulley to avoid getting tangled?! Sony needs to step their shit up. I purchased it this black friday, but im returning it b4 it gets to me cuz fuck this.

Installed already and works like a charm, the best option to play in PCVR without lag, best quality and no worries with the cable

Thanks for all the details!
i think they should make one that also reduces the weight of a console or pcvr headset, all the weight would rest on the ceiling or something
Probably wouldn’t be great as it would pull you back and not feel free

thankyou this should be great for my future set up
what extension cable are you using? all the ones I've tried either aren't compatible or after a while they stop working
Did you end up finding one?
Any update
Did u ever find one?
How do you store your headset if it’s connected to the cable management system
Good question, but no answer 😂😂😂😂
You can just unhook it pretty easily.
Hmm… ceiling hooks and six id card reels.
I have a 15 ft high room.
The cable is the main reason I went with the meta quest 3 instead. PlayStation dropped the ball by not making it a stand alone system
This is a joke comment right? Lol

Seriously ?
What a palava
I don't have any problems with my PSVR2 cable.
It is until you step on it and break it like i did
@@c3s-way929 I'm sorry for your loss 😞
I wonder if theres any solution to fix that
@igydkygs00kwhi you got to get those things that you hang from the sealing and you won't step on Cord.
