I just did a whoosh catted downpipe. I didnt remove the manifold heat shield just the downpipe one. One bolt snapped but dont need to worry about that. Use pb blaster on everything and go slow everything else came off no problem. I also was able to snake the old dp out by just moving the exhaust off to the right then left after taking it out of the blue hanger. I had my resonator removed not sure if it makes a difference but i was worried id have to take the brace halfway down the car off to move the exhaust but no didnt need too
I love the way the most difficult part you cut out... how on earth do you remove that turbo heatshield !!!

Great thing they cutted out how to remove the heatshields, looks like a tight as hell fit.
what's the foam for on the scuttle?
You didn't reinstall the downpipe and header heatsheild?
